The time has come to get out of our own way, change the way we think, and begin the growth that we all desire. The time has…

Sometimes it is really is right in front of us, but we don't see it because we aren't looking for it. This can be blessings, opportunities, the "silver lining" in a difficult situation, the list goes on... What you're looking for is what you'll find, and yet we can train ourselves (or be trained) to look at what others are doing, what we DON'T have, and things like that in which we see the things that make us unhappy and yet we stay surprised that those are the things that we keep on getting... if we look for it, we'll see it, and we'll get it... call it the Law of Attraction, call it whatever you want. This episode is meant to touch on this subject and begin the process of changing how and what we look at and see in this life of ours. LISTEN to this one and begin the change NOW. Is money the word that comes to mind to fill in the blank in the episode title? It's understandable if it does. We get into that - what about pain, though? How much pain does it take before we learn our lessons and change? Can't we learn from others' hardships and experiences all around us and apply it? Or does it HAVE to happen to us first, and if so, WHAT needs to happen to us for us to decide to prep and plan NOW and be proactive… financially, mentally, physically, and more. In this episode we touch on these thoughts and go over specific real-life examples and place ourselves in the mature yet difficult place of being on the receiving end of the serious question: How much ____ does it take to change your life? If you're looking for negative, you will find it. If you're looking for positive, you'll find that, too... at every point in our journey of life, in very obstacle and heartache, in every milestone and accomplishment, what you think about and train your eyes and heart to look for is what you will find... it seems obvious enough, and therefore easy to control, and yet we all as people need the strong reminder to stay vigilant with our thoughts and mindset as we navigate this journey of life. In this episode, we talk about it...THANK YOU to all of the worldwide THNKRS. Thank you for listening and joining the family and community here on the Think Bigger Podcast. What are your full circle moments? Are they ones where you find yourself right back where you started? Or are they ones where you have a moment of clarity and recognition about a time from the past? Did you look up to someone and now you are that someone? Or, perhaps, you said you'd lose weight and then after losing it you gain it all back and find yourself standing back at square one? There are MANY types of of these full circle moments in all of our lives, and in this episode of the Think Bigger Podcast we talk about them, how to have the mindset to even recognize them - and change them, or appreciate them! What was your answer to last episode's question(s)? And better yet, what are you going to do about it, and how? In this episode we discuss the simple yet profound ways that we can change from feeling like we are out of control and a victim to time, to how we can seize the day and seize control of time and use it... not let it use us. From changing the words that we speak and text, to changing the mindset that goes before and/or after those words, we discuss the answers and the methods that can be used to start the change that so many of us desire!THANK YOU to all of the worldwide THNKRS. Do you ever feel like life is just passing you by? That you're sitting there watching the world around you move and you're not moving with it? That instead of feeling like you're in the driver's seat controlling the direction and speed of your life, that you're sitting in the passenger seat unable to control anything and you just kinda of exist on the journey rather than controlled it? In this episode we explore this feeling that SO MANY of us have had or are currently having. It's time to stop being the passenger AKA the victim of circumstance… we are not helpless, we need to take back control of our vehicle and get back in the driver's seat - that's what we talk about in this episode!THANK YOU to all of the worldwide THNKRS. The three most profound gifts that any of us will ever be given is what we discuss in this new episode of the Think Bigger Podcast. Additionally, we go over T as she continues to battle breast cancer (her story is shared in the previous episode, Ep. 62). But yes... Life, Time, and Health - the pursuit of which can lead to a lifetime of health. Each individually and how they are intrinsically connected to one another. I know you'll find value in this episode, thank you for listening, everyone!
This episode is special because our guest, T, spent time with me in person to talk and share her story with all of us the night before she went in to have surgery to remove both of her breasts. Yes, you read that correctly. She just finished 6 rounds of Chemotherapy and the doctors said the next step was to surgically remove lymph nodes and her breasts to remove any remaining cancer cells and to help prevent any from returning. So even with all that going on, she was kind and hospitable and gave us her time and thoughts and emotions. T's energy and smile are amazing, and her sharing her story with us in real-time was an incredible blessing. I know you'll find value and meaning in this episode, thank you for being here and listening!
IF YOU'RE NOT GIVING, YOU'RE TAKING - What does that mean? The reality is that there is no neutral ground, there is no time where we can get complacent and lazy and not be thinking about how we are contributing to our relationships and giving to our loved ones, our friends, our community, and our culture. It means that our very existence inside of that relationship takes from the other person and people, so we must always be thinking of the other and giving to them. When we do that, we will thrive. But when we as people get selfish or lazy, or even just disconnect from the reality of it and don't actively and consciously give, it must be acknowledged that we are still TAKING from others and what is around you - and when we take accountability and own that reality, we can begin to heal and flourish.THANK YOU to all of the worldwide THNKRS. On our newest episode of the podcast we sit down with the one and only Sung Kang. Perhaps most notably known for playing the beloved Han in the Fast & Furious movie series, his role in the fantastic movie Better Luck Tomorrow is where I first learned about Sung. Over the years we've developed mutual friends and acquaintances, and it was an honor to finally be able to sit down and converse with Sung about life, perspective, art, and cars. The evolution of this Community Conversations podcast incorporated Taka of Kyusha House and John Williams of Williams Machine, Inc. - and I sincerely look forward to you all hearing it.This conversation/podcast is also available to watch on my YouTube channel. We filmed it at Williams Machine/Kyusha House facility and there are beautiful Japanese classic cars that serve as the backdrop. The people we spend time with, the social media pages we follow and like and subscribe to, the companies that we support... do our actions ACTUALLY show that we believe in quality over quantity like we all say we do? Or are we not actually putting in to practice in the REAL WORLD what we swear we believe in? FXCK. YOUR. PASSION. That's right, fuck passion... work harder, work smarter, and forge and create a work ethic that will sustain you on your journey to your dreams and aspirations when the emotional high - the "passion" - fades. Passion is an emotion, it's a feeling - it is a beautiful concept and ideal, and is also one of the most overused and overrated words ever. There will always be WORK to be done, and we are all being a fed a dangerous fairy tale version of reality that with passion everything else will just somehow fall in to place - and that is bullshit. Work ethic, willpower, accountability, determination... those are the real words that need to be focused on, those are what will provide for us a foundation to build on during the times when the passion and enthusiasm fade and all that's left in front of us is the WORK... we can and will continue to get shit done while others bitch and complain about their feelings.I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this topic and conversation! HAPPY NEW YEAR! We are kicking off 2021 with Episode 50 that presents a crucial question: “WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?” How do you look at the past, how do you look at the present, and how do you look at the future? What do you see? What are you focused on? What are you looking at? In this episode we take a moment to step back and realistically look at ourselves, our words, our captions, our resolutions, and understand that they are nothing more than just words without the proper thought and perspective behind them. How we see ourselves, how we see each other, and how we see the world around us are just some of what is discussed in this episode. Do you think you're an adult? Then let's have an adult conversation.I look forward to hearing from you after you've listened. But to do that we have to stop and embrace what is happening and look within ourselves and make an active decision to become a different person and choose the direction we go from that point. 2020 has been a year that has changed people and the world for the better and for the worse... and we have months left to go. From COVID and quarantine to racial tensions and police brutality to financial and economic struggles, there are so many powerful forces moving society and communities and we... the people, are dealing with it. But we can either be victims to our circumstances, or we can take control of our lives and take what's going on and ask ourselves, "Where do we go from here?" This episode is real, raw, and personal, and I bare a part of my soul as I think and struggle along with all of you. I genuinely look forward to you all listening and relating, and then sharing your thoughts in the comments on the IG post for this episode. Thank you, I appreciate you all. How do we measure our lives? Most people measure it by time... birthdays, years of life, etc. That's the general default setting for everyone, whether they realize it or not. But I say that we change that right now and begin to realize that the gauge by which we measure our lives is entirely up to us, and I say we measure our lives by moments. Moments are what make up memories, so at the end we can look back and remember a life full of precious moments and memories, not regrets and wishes unfulfilled. How our story ends is written by us, right here and right now. It isn't morbid to talk about the end, it's a simple reality for each and every one of us. So, what will you remember... and what will you be remembered for? As always, please don't hesitate or procrastinate to share your thoughts on this episode in the comment section of either YouTube or on my Episode-specific post on my Instagram. I value and look forward to continuing the conversation with you there. Thank you. IG: @thebigmikeThinkBiggerProject.comYouTube.com/BigMikeEdition

What's the first thing that comes to mind when you think of traveling? Is it plane ticket? A flight to somewhere exotic? Or is it money, and not having enough money or time to even think about traveling? In this Episode of the Think Bigger Podcast we discuss what it really means to travel! Most people are looking at it backwards and they don't even realize it. Before we worry ourselves about money and planning and destinations we have to first realize that traveling and the intended relaxation and release that are supposed to come from the trip all start in our minds. Allowing ourselves to appreciate the moments that we are in will allow us to appreciate the moments that are to come! Whether your across the street or across the globe, where you and you're with are as important and profound as you let them be. The point is to tune in to the moment and focus on it. From that point we can realize that traveling isn't about plane tickets or money, it is about creating and owning the moments that make up our lives and the memories within. I really can't wait for you all to listen to this episode. From literal to philosophical, we touch on a lot of subject matter in this conversation and I look forward to reading all of your input and commentary on IG and YouTube and continuing the conversation there. We are starting off 2020 by holding ourselves accountable for the words that come out of our mouths or fingers. Whether we spoke the words or typed them out, we SHOULD BE and ARE held accountable for them. So many people talk the talk ("New year, new me" and so on...) but they don't walk the walk. Whether you chose to start today - January 1, 2020 - or any other day doesn't matter, what matters is if you are ACTUALLY going to accomplish all of what you've been talking about. Or, are you going to be a victim of circumstances and come up with another excuse as to why they didn't happen again? It's up to you...We are a community and we are here to help each other as we all work and struggle and strive to accomplish what we want to, so start your year off right by listening to episode and LET'S GO!!IG: @TheBigMikewww.ThinkBiggerProject.com
