Morning Announcements

Today's Headlines: Three weeks into the Iran "excursion" — Trump's word, not ours — and there's no end in sight. Trump claimed Iran asked for a ceasefire; Iran said that didn't happen. Either way, 5,000 more marines and three more warships are headed to the region, joining the 50,000 U.S. troops already there. Oil is stuck at $100 a barrel, every country Trump asked to help escort tankers through the Strait of Hormuz said no, and the U.S. bombed Iran's Kharg Island oil hub — which Trump said he might hit "a few more times just for fun," as one does. Iran fired a missile at an Italian base in Iraq's Kurdistan region, a drone killed a French soldier in the same area, and Emmanuel Macron had to call Tehran to say that's unacceptable. At home, a federal judge blocked the DOJ's attempt to criminally investigate Fed Chair Jerome Powell, ruling it was a pretext to pressure the Fed on interest rates — the Trump administration is appealing. The FCC chair threatened to pull local TV licenses over Iran war coverage he doesn't like, and Trump threatened media outlets on social media for the same reason. Neither has real teeth yet, but that's sort of the point. Meanwhile, a viral six-hour deposition of two former DOGE employees revealed they used ChatGPT to identify 1,400 grants to cut — including ones for Black civil rights documentaries and Holocaust research — with zero government or academic experience between them. The Wall Street Journal reported that the Trump administration will collect a $10 billion fee from the TikTok deal — on an app valued at roughly $14 billion total. Palantir's CEO went on CNBC to brag that his AI will shift economic power away from educated women who vote Democratic. Kash Patel announced the FBI will now train with UFC fighters. Marco Rubio is on the witness list in his close friend's federal trial for acting as an unregistered foreign agent of Venezuela. A Florida Democrat won the Boca Raton mayoral race by one vote, and the Republican loser said he'd "sleep on" whether to accept the results. And a UCLA study found that diverse film casts outperform at the box office — which landed the same weekend the Oscars completely snubbed Sinners. Do you feel like you're missing the big picture regarding Iran? You aren't the only one. Filling in for Glenn, Justin Barclay shares a new poll revealing that the strikes on Iran are opposed by a small, but loud number of Republicans. Yet it's important to remember how close we came to not just losing President Trump in July 2024, but losing the country and maybe the world, and Justin explains why he isn't worried about the poll numbers. Justin also discusses how critical it is for Congress to pass the SAVE Act to ensure safe and free elections. In the state of Georgia, no stranger to some weird election shenanigans, a lawmaker looks to pass a state version of the bill. Greg Dolezal - a Georgia state senator and candidate for Lieutenant Governor - joins the program to discuss the bills he has introduced and how important the state of Georgia will be in determining the country's future. What is the bigger picture with Operation Epic Fury? Justin is joined by Tudor Dixon, host of the Tudor Dixon Podcast and former Michigan gubernatorial candidate, to discuss how the strikes affect the other CRINK countries just as much as they affect Iran, as well as the support of President Trump among Republicans being higher than that of other Presidents at this same point in their second term. Just how much better is living in Florida compared to Democrat-controlled cities and states? Scott Singer, the mayor of Boca Raton, joins to discuss his city's growth and how it can serve as a roadmap for the rest of the country. Justin is joined by Kyle Olson, the founder of The Midwesterner, to discuss Congress voting down the release of reports regarding the sexual misconduct and harassment by members of Congress and how obvious it is based on the results of the vote that the Democrats have never cared about the victims of Epstein or anyone else, they have always been using it as a political tool. We dive deep into the valuation disconnects currently plaguing the resource sector and why "boring" large-cap energy producers might be the smartest play for the next five years. Discussion Highlights: Silver Portfolio Rotation: Rick discusses selling 80% of his physical silver and 25% of his junior mining positions following recent parabolic moves to eliminate downside risk while maintaining upside through select silver stocks. The Silver/Stock Valuation Gap: Why silver equities are currently priced for $45 silver while the spot price sits significantly higher, creating a massive opportunity for a re-rating in high-quality miners. Energy Sector Outlook: An analysis of the under-investment in sustaining capital within the oil and gas industry and why Rick is favoring Canadian mid-tiers and majors like Exxon Mobil (XOM) and Schlumberger (SLB). For the first time in a generation, Canadian Jews ask if they should leave

For many Canadian Jews who grew up feeling secure here, the idea of needing a ‘Plan B' might have never occurred to them. Unthinkable, even. It was something their grandparents faced before the Holocaust. But in recent months, that conversation is now happening in many Jewish spaces across this country — even among people who have no immediate plans to leave. Some families are actively scouting Florida, despite the political and immigration challenges which the U.S.A. poses. Others are traveling to Panama, to explore buying property there just in case-where permanent residency is attainable. Real estate agents and immigration lawyers in Israel and beyond are fielding new calls. And communities in the U.S. and Israel are marketing directly to Canadians: you will have heard about Lech L'Tulsa, Oklahoma. But is this a real demographic shift — or is it something deeper: a rupture in confidence about the future of Jewish life in Canada in response to rising antisemitism and uncertainty? Today on The CJN's flagship podcast North Star, host Ellin Bessner examines why some Canadian Jews are looking for Plan B: we speak with Aryeh Snitman and his wife Heather Snitman of Thornhill who're exploring both Florida and Panama; with Jaqueline Lewis, of Toronto, who bought a place in Panama just a few months ago; and with Lauren Cohen, a Canadian-born lawyer based in Boca Raton, Florida who provides immigration business and real estate guidance to clients considering moving to “Mechaya Florida”. Yes, there was footage. Yes, Rizz immediately questioned whether the wolves were even real. It's romance, nature-style.Rafe attempts ice skating for the first time in his adult life and learns that there is, in fact, an expiration date for acquiring certain athletic skills. Buckets were stacked. Pride was tested. Heads were lightly bonked. Nobody tore an ACL — which honestly makes this episode a success.Scott celebrates Valentine's with sushi and F1 (bold move showing Brad Pitt on the most romantic night of the year), while Rizz wages war against a florist who tried to invoke “fine print” on a hotel flower delivery. An elite Yelp energy moment if we've ever seen one.We also dive into:– Mardi Gras arrest numbers in Soulard (surprisingly low)– The ethics of alleyway vs. porta potty decision-making– Watching Django Unchained with your teenage son and answering “Was this problematic?”– Why certain movies hit different when you're not 28 anymore– And whether we have officially aged out of learning new sportsIt's reflective. It's ridiculous. It's Midwest sarcasm colliding with Florida optimism. And it's another chaotic installment of your favorite daily comedy show.If you're here for a funny podcast that blends pop culture commentary, real-life fails, St. Louis energy, and Rizz and the gang arguing about beach sand clarity — welcome back to the daily comedy show that refuses to grow up (even if our knees say otherwise).Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShowHear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

What do QR codes, Olympic athletes, wolf mating documentaries, and Destin, Florida all have in common?Absolutely nothing — and that's why this daily comedy show works. We kick things off with a heated (but deeply scientific) debate about QR codes on billboards. A Chicago restaurant offered a “free burrito” if you scan while driving, and now people are calling for QR code bans. Is it dangerous? Is it genius marketing? Or are we just one distracted driver away from queso-related tragedy? Moon admits he doesn't trust QR codes at all because they feel like digital viruses wearing mustaches. Then we pivot to the Olympic Village, where apparently athletes are breaking records both on and off the field. They ran out of condoms in three days. THREE. DAYS. We discuss why every Olympic competitor seems to come from other Olympic bloodlines, how you even become a skeleton racer if you grow up in Missouri, and why the bobsled team unintentionally created slapstick history.Spring break planning reveals Missouri's true personality: Destin, Florida. The Redneck Riviera claims us once again. Rizz embraces his future as a Boca Raton retiree. Moon preaches the gospel of Gulf Coast sunsets. And somehow we end up arguing Disney inspiration versus Six Flags practicality. In relationships, we break down early red flags: expensive gifts too soon, showing up unannounced at work (don't), texting “good morning ❤️” every day (please calm down), and writing love songs after two dates (call security).Lern shares her surprisingly educational Valentine's Day at a wolf sanctuary where things got wildly biological. Rafe ice skates in Grafton. We discover the Most Gen X Man in the World. And somehow it all makes sense inside this chaotic, sarcastic, slightly unhinged daily comedy show.If you're here for weird news, entertainment gossip, Midwest sarcasm, Florida takes, and Olympic-level nonsense, welcome home. Gangland Wire
Inside the Global Black Market for Stolen Rare Cars

Gangland Wire

In this episode of Gangland Wire, host Gary Jenkins, retired Kansas City Police Intelligence Unit detective, steps outside traditional Mafia territory and into a shadowy world just as dangerous—and just as fascinating: the international theft of ultra-rare automobiles.  Gary is joined by author Stayton Bonner, former senior editor at Rolling Stone, and legendary car-recovery specialist Joe Ford, the real-life figure behind Bonner's book The Million Dollar Car Detective. At the center of the story is a breathtaking pre-World War II automobile—the Talbot-Lago Teardrop Coupé—once described as the most beautiful car in the world. Stolen from a Milwaukee industrialist's garage in 2001, the car vanished into the international underground of elite collectors, forged paperwork, and high-stakes deception. Joe Ford explains how he became the go-to investigator when rare cars worth millions disappear—and why stolen vehicles are far harder to recover than stolen art. What follows is a years-long global hunt involving disgruntled mechanics, fabricated titles, shell corporations, Swiss intermediaries, and a billionaire buyer now locked in civil litigation. Bonner adds rich historical context, tracing the car's glamorous past—from European aristocracy to Hollywood royalty—and exposing how loneliness, obsession, and greed often surround these legendary machines. The conversation expands into other notorious cases, including the disappearance of the original James Bond Aston Martin from Goldfinger, and how wealthy collectors sometimes knowingly harbor stolen artifacts. This episode is a true-crime story without guns or gangs—but filled with deception, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of justice across borders. If you love investigative work, high-end crime, and stories that feel like James Bond meets Gone in 60 Seconds, this one's for you.

Let Us Know What You Think of the Show!Date: February 111, 2026Name of Podcast: Backstage Pass RadioS10: E3: Kendra Erika - Behind The BondSHOW SUMMARY:A standing ovation at a Boca Raton restaurant set the stage for a career that would span club anthems, jazz standards, and a daring reinvention shaped by risk and timing. We sit down with Kendra Erika—multiple Billboard Dance Club #1 artist—to map the journey from karaoke nights and Sinatra schooling to a Bond-inspired album and a string of Vegas dates that showcase a new sonic identity.Kendra opens up about the strategy that turned a supposed industry taboo into a win: dropping Self Control during the quiet week between Christmas and New Year's, when the release calendar goes silent. She breaks down how DJ relationships, club spins, and mix shows drive Billboard dance charting, why accolades are confirmation rather than identity, and how consistency is the real magic potion. We also dig into the craft: writing by conversation, capturing melodies on voice memos at midnight, and treating remakes as re-stylizations that honor the original while stamping your own signature. Her new single Golden Eye, produced with Myron McKinley, channels cabaret swing and Peggy Lee's Fever, revealing the “quiet power” at the core of her evolving sound.Beyond the studio, Kendra talks acting projects, reading charts with live bands in Vegas, and grounding herself through golf and Rotary service. She shares a candid take on songs that felt forced during polarizing times, and why letting ideas arrive on their own terms often yields the work that lasts. If you're curious about how artists pivot without losing momentum—or how to turn club credibility into a cinematic, jazz-forward lane—you'll find a smart, generous blueprint here.Stream now, pre-save License To Thrill, and join us for a behind-the-scenes look at a reinvention done right. The phrase "go west!" was not coined by the Village People or the Pet Shop Boys, but by Horace Greeley, a famous newspaper editor a long time ago. And seen from Europe, all of the United States is West. So that's what Luca Puster tells his young European clients who just finish High School and are considering college: Go west young man, and grow up playing football. Or soccer. How do they find American colleges? What makes them come here, what is attractive about this step in their football and study careers? How do they find the game here, the current crisis around immigration and politics, what do they take back? Luca is the co-founder of Students Go West, an agency that helps bring European footballers into American collegiate soccer programs. RJ Boyle is a legendary figure in the South Florida sportfishing world, based in Boca Raton, Florida. Born and raised in the area, Boyle grew up on the water, developing a deep connection to the ocean that would shape his life and career. Over the years, he has earned a reputation as one of the pioneers of daytime swordfishing in South Florida, helping transform what was once considered a nighttime-only pursuit into a highly refined and widely practiced technique. Building on the groundbreaking work of Vic Gaspeny and Richard and Scott Stanczyk—the true innovators of daytime swordfishing in Islamorada—Boyle adapted and applied those methods to the waters off Boca Raton and Hillsboro Inlet. Through decades of experimentation, innovation, and relentless time offshore, he has caught thousands of swordfish, including many giants weighing several hundred pounds, earning widespread respect among anglers around the world. Standing 6-foot-4 with a larger-than-life presence, Boyle's path to fishing fame has been anything but ordinary. Before becoming a full-time angler, he spent time as a minor league baseball pitcher, an experience that helped shape his discipline and drive. His creativity carries into his work today as an artist, entrepreneur, and educator. He is the owner of RJ Boyle Studio in Lighthouse Point, a one-of-a-kind space that blends a tackle shop, art gallery, and showcase for swordfish mounts and marine-inspired artwork. In addition to running charters and guiding anglers offshore, Boyle is deeply passionate about teaching—hosting swordfishing clinics and sharing hard-earned knowledge through reports, writing, and hands-on instruction. Above all, the work Boyle is most proud of is his charity, Mission Fishing, which takes children with special needs and disabilities fishing, providing families with unforgettable marine experiences and lifelong memories. RJ Boyle is one of the most incredible people we have ever met and a true inspiration. We hope you enjoy this podcast as much as we did.

Inconsistency is one of the fastest ways to lose trust, credibility, and high-level opportunities. In this episode of The Kelly Roach Show, Kelly breaks down how chronic overcommitment shows up in subtle but damaging ways - from "posting and ghosting" online to constantly moving meetings, showing up stressed, or being hot and cold in relationships. In this episode of The Kelly Roach Show, Kelly pulls back the curtain on the eight biggest unexpected shifts that reshaped her companies this year (many of which came from frustration, pressure, or deep uncertainty).  From radically overhauling live events and flipping the entire portfolio business model, to narrowing the company's niche, shifting ad strategy, ending beloved programs, launching Substack, and rebuilding around daily sales — this episode is a masterclass in strategic adaptability. Kelly explains what changed and why, and how you can apply these same lessons inside your own business as you plan for 2026. In 2007, the affluent community of Boca Raton, Florida, was gripped by terror when a series of brutal attacks and kidnappings struck the Town Center Mall. Over the span of just nine months, three separate incidents targeted mothers shopping in the middle of the day.
