She is well versed in helping podcasters in getting started and staying motivated to keep their podcasts relevant. On this episode, I wanted to know the personal side of Jaime. Even thought she is  not a veteran,  her expertise and insight is helping everyone including veterans  to help people start and grow their podcast throughout her courses, ClubHouse, and Instagram.Listen in as we do lots of laughing (I mean a lot) and discuss her love of zombies, and why she hates her right lung to her love of wanting to skydive but absolutely hates roller coasters.  It was a fun podcast to say the least.Full Bio:Producer Jaime Legagneur is the host and producer of her own show, Business in the Bedroom, and has grown her business producing podcasts and managing podcast networks. She began working as a Production Coordinator for the Horse Radio Network in the summer of 2017, eventually working her way up to being their Production Manager. A Floridian since 1982, creating a network centered around her home state was a natural fit. She then began growing her FPN vision into a reality, by helping local brands and businesses get into the space and propel Florida's entrepreneurial prosperity forward through the power of podcasting! Studies show that many women do not even know their own anatomy, and henceforth do not know how to pleasure themselves. Good orgasms can be indicative of better vaginal health, better mental health, a better relationship with one's partner and more enjoyable sexual activities. What do women need to know to achieve orgasm? There is so much more to having an orgasm than just sex itself. Women need to ensure that they are monitoring their hormones and their vaginal health, as an imbalance or lack of these can make achieving orgasm very difficult. Dr. Bawa explains the different rejuvenation procedures and treatments that she offers to her clients that have helped to change their lives.Prevention is better than a cureDr. Bawa advises people to rethink wellness. Vaginal health needs to be approached in a preventative way and not only brought up when a problem arises. Sexual health is a topic that is ignored by a lot of doctors. Archer's future was in limbo — as everyone waited to see if his body would respond to a last ditch medical attempt to seal a hole in his lungs and if the Shepherd Center would officially accept him or not — but for Bill and Louise, that was not the only thing in limbo. The highly anticipated launch party on September 1 to celebrate the publication of their first book, Being Relational: The Seven Ways to Quality Interaction & Lasting Change, was being scuttled. Up until Archer's injury, they had been coordinating with their publisher, publicists and others, but when they found themselves in the ICU with Archer, many plans and dreams changed as the couple's focus shifted to their son. In Season 2: Episode 23: Radical Acceptance, Louise shares how radical acceptance is more than just accepting life as is, it's knowing there is something grander than what can be seen.  In this episode, you will hear excerpts from interviews with: Bill Senft, Louise's husband and co-author. Bill and Louise open a tender conversation they had not had before about Bill's experience bedside Archer, and his wonderings about why and his deep sadness about the loss of his dreams for a book he and Louise spent years writing.  You will hear their ideas of what radical acceptance means to them.  Christine Belleris, chief editor, HCI Publishers in Boca Raton, FL, publishers of Chicken Soup for the Soul, and Bill and Louise's book, Being Relational: the Seven Ways to Quality Interaction & Lasting Change. She and Louise talk about the book publishing process, their working together, and the challenge of releasing a book during a time of crisis. Our theme music is Victoria Vox. At our last in-person event in Boca Raton in January 2020, Tekla did a great presentation on food labels and all the ways she felt they came up short, not only in terms of content but also on what foods had labels on them.  For instance, why shouldn't we see labels on apples and bananas.  Maybe not on each one but at least at the display in the grocery store.  If people saw how much sugar was in these fruits they might reconsider eating them.  And that's another thing I didn't know and that is that food labels don't always show the amount of sugar in an item other then the added sugar.  So orange juice, for instance, often comes with a label showing zero grams of sugar as there is no added sugar. But we all know how frighteningly high OJ is in naturally occurring sugar and as we also all know, sugar is sugar, naturally occurring or not. She also feels the labels should highlight the quality of protein.  Just showing grams of protein is not enough, we need to know the makeup of the protein and what essential versus non-essential amino acids are in there.  That is critical. If you want to contact here about the project or just learn more about the project and how food labels could be better, you can find her on her website.

The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill

Contrary to Mars Hill lore, Mark Driscoll didn't plant his church alone. Though he prized the image of a solo, entrepreneurial pastor, Driscoll found early success thanks to two co-planters, a sending church, and a network of support. And three thousand miles away in Boca Raton, Florida, the concept of the Acts 29 church network was already taking shape as an offshoot of the Spanish River Church Planting Network. Church planting requires a certain audacity, and in the early 1970's nobody had more than David Nicholas. Founder of Spanish River Church, David's burden for evangelism took shape in mentoring relationships with pastors starting congregations of their own. A planter himself, David empathized with those who felt lonely in that particular calling, and he sought to encourage and empower leaders by offering them community -- a network in which they could receive the care, training and accountability to do their jobs well.  In this episode of The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill, host Mike Cosper invites us into the room with David Nicholas and Mark Driscoll -- two church planters with widely divergent visions for what constituted successful church growth. Tracing the Acts 29 network from its beginnings, Cosper asks whether any leadership potential is worth overlooking red flags, and whether the broader church actually has what it takes to mentor young leaders with issues of character.  “The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill” is a production of Christianity Today  Executive Producer: Erik Petrik Produced, written, edited, and hosted by: Mike Cosper Additional editing by Resonate Recordings and Matt Linder Associate produced by Joy Beth Smith  Music, sound design, and mixing: Kate Siefker Theme song: “Sticks and Stones” by King's Kaleidescope Closing song: “Citizens” by Jon Guerra Graphic Design: Bryan Todd Social Media: Nicole Shanks Editorial consulting: Andrea Palpant Dilley, Online Managing Editor Christianity Today Editor in Chief: Timothy Dalrymple Learn more about your ad choices.
