In this episode Jonathon (host) and Hanae are joined by guests Steven Hartley and Gabrielle (Gabby) Lee! They discuss their early composition days, their go to instrumentations, and how they got started. Jonathon, Steve, and Gabby review and recount the creation and performance of a composition they created together (Dream Gardens) for the 35th anniversary of Defying Gravity Percussion Ensemble. Hanae mentions her love of organs (the instrument), which sparks an awesome organ story from Gabby, and a tragic organ tale from Steve. Jonathon has no organ story, only a story about body organs, which like his appendix, was also removed from this episode... This episode was originally recorded on the 21st of September, 2022.
