Bible Verse of the Day: Scripture quotes for encouragement & strengthen your faith in God's Word
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. Galatians 5:22-23 By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things. **Continuing with the notes from the previous days, many people came and claimed to be the Messiah. There were a handful of revolutionary groups who held certain parts of Jerusalem between 67-70CE. Each group held a different spot of the Temple Mount and had a leader proclaiming to be God's Messiah. A continuation into the study of Mark's documentary on the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70CE.
This episode is a continuation of finding the paralles between Mark's documentary on the Jewish Wars and the actual events that tool place between 66 and 70 CE (Source Ref: Kimondo's "Gosple of Mark and the War")
In this episode I will begin a series that demonstrates the connections between Mark's gosple and Josephus' Wars of the Jews. This episode will also demonstrate that the Romans did not invent the gosples or Christianity, rather, a concerned Jewish Christian that wanted to change the future for all people after years of death and destruction. Loosely based on Komondo's version.

The humble Rabbi Joshua ben Hananya was a key figure in the reinvention of Judaism after the catastrophe of the destruction of Jerusalem and the Holy Temple in the year 70CE. His teachings carry profound and timeless wisdom.
One of the greatest Jewish tragedies of all times was the Jewish-Roman War in 66-70CE. In that brutal war, one million Jews were killed, Jerusalem was leveled and the Holy Temple was destroyed. The war led to the exile of our people when most of us were forced out of Israel to wonder from land to land. While there are many accounts of this war, figuring out what actually happened is difficult given the contradictions and the knowledge that the most important account was largely falsified. Listen to the fascinating story of this important historical event.
Beginning a long-term examination of the Jewish ritual calendar, the Minyan discusses Tisha B'av, the fast day commemorating the destruction of the 2nd Temple of Jerusalem in 70CE, exploring the history leading up to the Roman sack of the Temple, the sectarian nature of 2nd Temple Judaism, the ritual practices of the holiday itself, and its meaning for revolutionary Jews seeking to build diasporist solidarity with all oppressed peoples in service of building a better world in the future, rather than seeking to reclaim a mythologized past in service of maintaining reactionary nationalism. In this second episode on The Battle for the Proto-Orthodoxy, we will settle in on a very important historical date: 70CE. The Seige of Jerusalem by the Roman Armies set Judaism as we know it on foot with its scrolls and materials and all but destroyed Judaism forever. Crucial to the Christian story was the expulsion of the Jews from the Holy Land. This disconnected Christianity from their adoptive parents (Judaism) and was partially responsible for Christianity's rapid growth. Join in for Part Two
The Mishkahn (Wilderness Tabernacle) was described in such extreme detail. It foreshadowed the future Temple of G-d. While the Temple was destroyed in 70CE, it still survives to this day in a greater way. Listen to learn more.
