Ben Norquist joins us to discuss how Christianity Today, the flagship Evangelical magazine, has been covering Gaza over the last 2 years. The discussion delves into several publications by CT, including its podcast, that have revealed a problematic and dehumanizing attitude toward Palestinian, one that effectively provided a theological cover for the genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza.Purchase your own copy of “Being Christian After the Desolation of Gaza”https://wipfandstock.com/9798385254859/being-christian-after-the-desolation-of-gaza. In 1945, the Nobel Committee awarded its prize for literature to Gabriela Mistral (1889-1957) "for her lyric poetry which, inspired by powerful emotions, has made her name a symbol of the idealistic aspirations of the entire Latin American world." Born in a rural Andean valley and abandoned by her free-spirited father at the age of three, Mistral struggled for the right to be a teacher - and then went on to help reform the Chilean educational system to improve the lives of women and the impoverished. After experiencing heartbreak and several tragedies, her poetry collection Desolación ("Desolation" or "Despair") (1922) made her one of Latin America's most revered writers. In this episode, Jacke looks at the life and works of this remarkable poet, whose constant search for truths in nature and humanity informed a body of work that continues to delight and inspire. Whew, it's been a long year. Between the Comstock Breakfast Club 75 Reunion planning and those meetings, and the Heron, and the various events there. . it's been literally all year since I could do an episode like this, a personal one. And it's personal, the music, what I have to say, and this last year had an effect. The music? It's a complete mix. I've always loved music and it shows, half the tunes are from the 70's, cuts I loved then and still love now, and half are from today, music I absolutely love today and they're paired up so hopefully, you'll hear those connections and that lineage too. What I have to say? It's personal, and raw, and real, and some thanks are given that are needed. Enjoy Kip

Embracing Consolation, Understanding Desolation - Spiritual Desolation: Be Aware, Understand, Take Action with Fr. Timothy Gallagher - Discerning Hearts Podcast Fr. Gallagher offers an in-depth overall review of Rule 4 on Spiritual Desolation. From Setting the Captives Free: Personal Reflections on Ignatian Discernment of Spirits Rule 4 is the companion to rule 3 and describes its exact opposite: spiritual desolation. As in rule 3, Ignatius does not give a definition but rather a list of experiences of spiritual desolation. I have italicized each: Fourth Rule. The fourth is of spiritual desolation. I call desolation all the contrary of the third rule, such as darkness of soul, disturbance in it, movement to low and earthly things, disquiet from various agitations and temptations, moving to lack of confidence, without hope, without love, finding oneself totally slothful, tepid, sad, and as if separated from one's Creator and Lord. For just as consolation is contrary to desolation, in the same way, the thoughts that come from consolation are contrary to the thoughts that come from desolation. Why are Christians Duped by Trump Why Christians are duped by Trump and how does this link to end of days eschatology? Genocide scholars agree, Israel is committing genocide (da). Remember, Oct 7th was a total stand down to maximize Israeli's death according to IDF soldiers, Rabbis, and other whistle blowers. Trump tweets a creepy Q and the Cross in his hand with the earth burning. The tweet headline says, the world will understand, nothing can stop what is coming. Is he talking about the turning on of the bio hack quantum computer beast system (real Abomination of Desolation), fallen angels, financial collapse, World War three, or a fake takedown of the deep state. If Trump was to take the deep state down, he would eliminate the FED RES bank and get back to sound money vs. crypto / stablecoins. It is official, poke causes turbo cancer yet Trump launches new defilement pokes all while asking big pharma to give data on the success of the devil juice. The theater of war appears to be going live soon. The right is pushing for censoring the net and red gun flag laws just like the Left. Wings of the same bird. What is the bigger picture of troops on the street and why should you care. Send this video to Trump fans.

In this video, we conclude our study of the Great Jubilee Redemption Cycle of 490 years from the Dedication of Solomon's Temple in 1018 BC to the Decree of Artaxerxes in 458 BC, which marks the start of the next Redemption Cycle (Daniel's 70 Weeks, Daniel 9:24). This period is actually 560 years, but the 70 years of the Babylonian Captivity are unreckoned, leaving 490 years in God's Redemption Chronology. Using charts, Pastor Derek gives an overview of this whole time-period showing how all the reigns of the kings fit into the longer time-periods of 390 years and 40 years of Ezekiel 4 (1018 - 628 BC and 628- 588 BC), the 70 years of Desolation (588 - 518 BC) and the 560 years (1018 - 458 BC), showing how all the Biblical data can be perfectly harmonised. Everything fits perfectly into place, demonstrating the sovereignty, grace and glory of God. We can see that God, as the Lord of Time, has sovereignly planned and determined the overall course of Time. As the God of Grace, we see that He governs it according to His Redemption Calendar, which incorporates the Jubilee Principle and measures years of forgiveness, so that Time is structured in Great Jubilee Cycles. By giving us detailed chronological information in His Word about the course of history, we can reconstruct it with exactness, and demonstrate its accuracy, inner harmony, consistency and perfection, showing that all the time-periods fit into a greater Divine Plan and Design for Time, thus revealing the sovereignty and glory of God.

The Chaos Dwarfs rule an empire in the blasted Dark Lands to the east of the Old World. They worship Hashut, the Father of Darkness.During the time of the northward Dwarf migration (-4300 IC) into the Worlds Edge Mountains, some Dwarfs travelled east across the plateau of Zorn Uzkull - the Great Skull Land - in their quest for precious ores and gems, reaching the dismal Mountains of Mourn. Then, during the Coming of Chaos (-4000 IC), these Dwarfs were cut off from the rest of Dwarf civilisation by swirling Chaos energies and rampaging legions of Daemons. The rest of the Dwarfs assumed they had perished in the deluge of Chaos. In reality, the hardy Dwarfs were not killed but neither had they remained unchanged by Chaos. [1a][4a]Eventually even these stubborn Dwarfs succumbed to the warping effects of the Chaos energies, gradually becoming the perverted and cynical mockery of traditional Dwarfs. Some of their number even became hideous mutated fusion of Dwarf and bull - the Bull Centaurs. Abandoned by their Ancestor Gods, the Chaos Dwarfs cried out for salvation and a dark voice answered: the Chaos entity Hashut, the father of darkness.Following Hashut, the eastern Dwarfen society started down a dark path and they became the Chaos Dwarfs at around -3500 IC whilst the great citadel of Mingol Zharr Naggrund - The Great City of Fire and Desolation is created by powerful sorcerers from black iron and obsidian in -2700 IC. The Orc and Goblin tribes of the Dark Lands and Mountains of Mourn are enslaved a hundred years later.Support the show
