It's a pivotal time in Super Netball with just five weeks left until finals. After round nine, the Vixens overtook the Fever to sit four points clear on the ladder after the Thunderbirds handed West Coast their biggest loss since 2018 — a whopping 18 goals. We also chat Diamonds selection in the wake of the 2024/25 national squad being named and featuring three new players in their early twenties: Hannah Mundy, Ash Ervin and Georgie Horjus, as the team looks to recruit the next generation of Australian talent. But our main focus this week is on the major changes happening in the UK, leaving fans feeling hurt and unheard.Four of the current 10 teams have been axed for next season: Storm, Stars, Sirens and Bath, as the competition makes some drastic changes in order to try and pay players better and give the league a more professional status.Andy Lamb and Kelly Walker share their thoughts on these changes for SuperLeague 2.0 as passionate netball fans, podcasters and people that will both have to pick new sides to support next year after their teams sadly didn't make the cut.

Have you ever had a client or employee completely shut down or get really angry with you about a situation and you had no idea why?It happens more often that it should but often times it is a miscommunication of goals and expectations. Then our personalities and past experiences come into play and cast a lens on the situation and how we all respond. Our motivators then take over as we try to navigate that conflict.Wouldn't it be helpful if we knew what motivated people? What if we knew how to get the best out of our team and set them up for success? What if we could figure out how to deescalate a situation by understanding how the other person saw things? In today's podcast episode, we speak with Andy Lamb, founder of BatLamb Co, about the Enneagram and how to use it for conflict resolution as well as setting up our employees for success. Andy works at a university a Andy talks about:• What the enneagram is• How to use the enneagram to improve company culture• Why knowing people's motivators is important for good communication • How to resolve conflict by listening more

The focus of this week's conversation is about how organisations, whether private or governmental, stretch forwards into what is possible rather than snapping back to the ‘old normal’ in this post COVID world. I explore this with Andy Lamb, an experienced organisational disruption consultant who specialised in unlocking creativity within businesses. What makes this conversation super interesting is its fractal nature in that Andy started by noticing small changes that he needed to make himself on a personal level, and then spotted the patterns that emerged applying them to larger organisations in his work. We also dived how to remain open to learning, complexity, ecosystems, and much, much more. While on the surface this might seem like a very heavy topic, Andy is a super articulate guy and he's tonnes of fun to talk to, which makes this a very approachable conversation that will lightly provoke quite deep thought.
