In this 290th episode of Monday Morning Pep Talk, we're shining a light on one of the most overlooked yet powerful tools for building your real estate brand: the buyer tour. Most agents treat buyer tours as simple service work — but in reality, they're a living, breathing opportunity to show how you work, not just what you do. When documented with professionalism, buyer tours become branding gold: real-time proof of your expertise, your client-first mindset, and your ability to elevate the industry.
In this 289th episode of Monday Morning Pep Talk, we're continuing our conversation around personal branding with a concept that separates amateurs from professionals: Evidence of Success. This episode is a direct call to action for brokers and advisors who want to build a credible, memorable brand that commands attention. Because in today's market, it's not just about what you say — it's about what the market sees. If you're serious about positioning yourself as the go-to real estate professional in your market, your listing marketing has to do more than generate offers. It has to communicate trust, professionalism, and results.

This is the podcast to go with my 9th annual political reading list (See list online) As the name suggests, the books on the list have a political theme or connection, be it Irish, European or global. This podcast differs slightly from the original online list as I omitted Prof Donnacha Ó Beacháin's "Unfinished Empire" the story of how Putin clings to Russia's imperial legacy, particularly in Ukraine. The other books remain the same. Feel free to leave your thoughts and feedback below.
Are you memorable—or just visible? In Episode 288 of Monday Morning Pep Talk, I break down what many real estate professionals get wrong about personal branding. This isn't about being an influencer or going viral. It's about being intentional, recognizable, and top-of-mind in a business that rewards trust and reputation. Your marketing is not just for lead generation. It is your insurance policy. It protects your relationships, converts your introductions, and reinforces why someone should hire you. Because here's the truth: your personal brand is no longer optional.

In this episode of Monday Morning Pep Talk, I share 10 powerful insights gained from an 11-day trip to France that marked three major milestones — two graduations and 30 years of marriage. More than a vacation, it became a reset that sharpened my perspective on leadership, time, and intentional living. This is not about travel for the sake of luxury. It is about the mindset, planning, and boundaries required to step away and come back stronger.

Every top producer you admire — the ones who stay consistent, build momentum, and hit their goals — is not relying on luck. They are using this formula. It is simple. It is powerful. And it works. In this episode of Monday Morning Pep Talk, Jim Miller shares the foundational principle that sits at the root of every achievement: Thoughts create feelings. Feelings create action. Action creates results. This is not just a motivational phrase — it is a decision-making framework that separates high-performers from everyone else. If you are not getting the results you want, the trail always leads back to what you are thinking. Whether you are facing burnout, stuck in reactivity, or just ready to recommit for the back half of the year, this episode will help you reset the system behind your daily habits and long-term vision.

These are the timeless, foundational principles that helped him build three successful businesses and coach thousands of real estate professionals toward higher productivity, deeper purpose, and more predictable success. For decades, writers and filmmakers have imagined worlds where characters can do things like watch a double sunset (on Tatooine, of course), or stand among the sand dunes of Arrakis, or gaze at the gas-giant planet Polyphemus from the moon Pandora. But even as works like Star Wars, Dune, and Avatar have enticed us with their fictional renditions of planets beyond our reach, astronomers have slowly begun to compile a set of scientific truths about the actual exoplanets. In this episode, Jacke talks to author Keith Cooper (Amazing Worlds of Science Fiction and Science Fact) about the realities beyond imaginary planets. PLUS Jacke takes a look at two AI-related pieces of news: the recovery of writing long thought to be lost on a scroll charred by Vesuvian ash, and a summer reading list that surprised everyone - including the authors who made the list for reasons they were not expecting. Today, we read a poem about one of my most favorite animals and one of the animals I hope to see at Isle Royale National Park. Jay plays a public domain song to open the show which triggers Jacob to wax about the nerdy books he's been reading. He admits his crush on the actress who played Supergirl on TV. "The Fappening" gets brought up and Jay reanalyzes certain private pics from it. | Bobby fills his addiction holes with designer bags instead of sex, drugs, and booze. He's a junkie for both designer and functional apparel and tries to explain his need to the group. The Sun-Times is under fire this week after the paper printed a “summer reading list” of mostly fake books that turned out to be generated by AI. The list appeared in a supplemental insert that was produced by a third party. The paper says it's updating its policies, but the whole thing reminded us of a conversation host Jacoby Cochran had with author Eve L. Ewing earlier this year about some real Chicago books to add to your reading list. Want some more City Cast Chicago news? Then make sure to sign up for our Hey Chicago newsletter. As we draw near to our backpacking trip at Isle Royale National Park, I will be reading some stories about animal friends whom I wish to see. Today, we read the story “Why Reddy Fox Has No Friends” from the book “Mother West Wind's Children” written by Thornton W. Burgess. So today is a continuation, I think, of the story we did last time. If you remember, it kind of left you hanging at the end. So today, we read the story titled “The Good Little Cranes Who Were Bad” from the book “Among the Pond People” written by Clara Dillingham Pierson. I wanted to do a story about Longlegs the Heron but I think I have read all I have available. So I turned to fellow Michigander Clara Dillingham Pierson and she didn't have any heron stories, only crane stories. So today, we read the story “The Dance of the Sand-Hill Cranes” from her book titled “Among the Pond People.” Website: http://www.thefightingmoose.com/ Blog https://thefightingmoosepodcast.blogspot.com/ iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-fighting-moose/id1324413606?mt=2/ Story (PDF): http://ww.thefightingmoose.com/episode456.pdf Reading List: http://www.thefightingmoose.com/readinglist.pdf YouTube: https://youtu.be/YgdU27pwKsk/ Book(s): “Among the Pond People” http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/35002 Music/Audio: Artist – Analog by Nature http://dig.ccmixter.org/people/cdk National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA): http://www.nasa.gov Song(s) Used: cdk - Sunday by Analog By Nature (c) copyright 2016 Licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution (3.0) license. http://dig.ccmixter.org/files/cdk/53755
