After taping this episode, we heard back from the FDA: “Some ingredients considered GRAS may not have been previously assessed by FDA but may be assessed as part of the post market program if information becomes available suggesting that an FDA assessment is warranted. We can and will do what is within our authority, but Congress ultimately sets our authorities. The law does not require companies to submit their GRAS conclusions or related dossiers to FDA. However, industry is responsible for ensuring the safety and regulatory status of the ingredients they add to food,” an FDA spokesperson told us. “We can challenge a GRAS conclusion, and we have determined that the uses of certain ingredients are not GRAS and that they are unapproved food additives … Only Congress can change the law to require FDA review of all food ingredients.” Election Day is less than a week away. We've been hearing for some time that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will change not only the way we do business but society as well. The truth is, marketers have already started to use AI, many time without knowing it. This is because many tools are already including AI algorithms in their analytics, such as the social media analytics tool Social Insider.Lately there has been a lot of buzz around using AI to actually create content. How far have these platforms come? Listen in as I literally tell you what AI-generated content sounds like so you can come to your own conclusion as to if and how you decide to leverage the technology for yourself. AI Tools Mentioned: (affiliate links)Jasper: https://nealschaffer.com/jasperFrase: https://nealschaffer.com/fraseKey Highlights [02:38] What AI Can Do for Us[02:54] Frase Tool[03:34] AI Tools for SEO and Content Marketing[05:06] The Potentials When Leveraging Tools[05:47] Explain It to a Child Template[07:26] Content Improver Tool[10:59] Blog Post Intro Paragraph[11:53] Copyscape Tool[12:58] Paragraph Template[14:40] Choosing Tone of the Voice[19:36] How to Get JasperNotable QuotesWhat I feel are the most compelling use case scenario for these tools, which are ads, Facebook ad headline, Facebook, ad primary text, you want to have some variations of different ad copy, will, this can actually shoot out a lot of different variations very, very quickly,I recommend and I enjoy the fact that there are multiple outputs for this. But you get a sense that with some correction, we can actually leverage this and it sort of spices up our language.I think the best content is content that triggers on people's emotions, that has your own unique perspective that has more of a human element to it.But anyway, I just wanted to plant a seed in your head that, whether it's email copy, whether it's blog post or ad copy, I don't think that these tools are going to replace human beings. But I do believe that as a helper, to help you do research, help you make sure you're covering your bases in terms of content, because if the AI can find content that they think you should include in your blog post that you're not including, then maybe you don't have all your bases covered, right?I think now is the time to start embracing these tools not to replace human beings. But as helpers, to help you make better content in less time. And writing is an art. And I would never publish anything without running it by human editors, or my own human eyes and making my own human corrections. But I do believe when you're just your creativity, well is running dry, when you have nothing to say, using one of these tools is going to give you a lot to say.I think if you are a marketer, you owe it to yourself to really try to start leveraging one of these tools.Learn More:Join My Digital First Mastermind: https://nealschaffer.com/membership/ Learn about My Fractional CMO Consulting Services: https://nealschaffer.com/cmoDownload My Free Ebooks Here: https://nealschaffer.com/freebies/Subscribe to my YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/nealschafferAll My Podcast Show Notes: https://podcast.nealschaffer.com

SHA' PTA' - Wonderful Women Wednesday - CHIKA Nigerian-American Rapper, Model & Actress

This Wonderful Women Wednesday after the election celebrates Jane Chika Oranika, known in the rap community as CHIKA.  Chika first gained widespread attention following an Instagram post from November 9, 2016, the day after the 2016 United States Presidential Election. In the video, she covers herself in pale foundation, saying "African-American? Never felt that, never heard of that, never tasted that, never smelled that".  Rollingstone.com calls her the artist you need to know.  Born March 9 in Montgomery, Alabama, Chika is a Nigerian-American rapper, model, and actress.  She did a song entitled "Can't Explain It" featuring Charlie Wilson, which displays her R&B talent.  Early in 2017, she created the #EgoChallenge, using the Beyoncé song of that title to promote body positivity and self-love.  That year she also released a Pride-themed remix of Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" as well as a poetry EP.  In 2018, Chika went viral for a freestyle addressed at Kanye West over West's own "Jesus Walks" beat. The freestyle concerned West's support for Donald Trump and caught the attention of Jada Pinkett Smith, Sean "Diddy" Combs, and Erykah Badu.  Chika identifies as bisexual and addresses her sexuality in her music and videos.  She was featured in JoJo's song "Sabotage" which reached number 18 on the Billboard US R&B Digital Downloads.  Chika released her debut single, "No Squares", in April 2019. The following month, at the invitation of guest host Lena Waithe, she performed "Richey v. Alabama", another of her songs, on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The song dealt with the state of Alabama's 2019 abortion bill.  I kept saying for her to be so young (23), she reminded me of back in the old days, R&B and Rap singer combined.  Chika had a small role in the 2020 Netflix Original film called Project Power and also in 2020, she was included on XXL's 2020 Freshman Class.  In May 2019, Chika is featured in a Calvin Klein #MyCalvins advertisement, also writing poetry for the brand's S/S 2019 campaign. That same year, she participated in a Business of Fashion panel at Paris Fashion Week and posed for the December cover of Teen Vogue. She was recognized by Business of Fashion as one of the top 500 people shaping the fashion industry in 2019.   I hope you enjoy the narratives, which explains what episodes are about, as well as the graphic attached to each episode, which I diligently search for to match each episode. The Receptive Life: Learning How to Receive All of the Gifts That Only the Triune God Can Give

The teaching is based on the Scripture lessons from Trinity 11.The Gospel reading is Luke 18:9-14.Some quotes in the recording are taken from the Book of Concord (Triglotta - public domain). Please note that different versions of the Book of Concord have different reference and paragraph numbers. I'll provide both references.Reference #1: Johann Gerhard“We should not think of our good works and boast of them but rather think of our sins and repent of them … we have more sins than good works.” (Johann Gerhard, Postilla Volume 2, Eleventh Sunday after Trinity)Reference #2: The Book of Concord… the Law always accuses us.For who loves or fears God sufficiently? Who with sufficient patience bears the afflictions imposed by God? Who does not frequently doubt whether human affairs are ruled by God's counsel or by chance? Who does not frequently doubt whether he be heard by God? Who is not frequently enraged because the wicked enjoy a better lot than the pious, because the pious are oppressed by the wicked? Who does satisfaction to his own calling? Who loves his neighbor as himself? Who is not tempted by lust?In the Concordia Triglotta the reference is: Apology to the Augsburg Confession, Article III (of love and the fulfilling of the law), paragraph 167.In the Concordia, Reader's Edition the reference is:  Apology, Article V (III) paragraph 46Reference #3:  The Book of ConcordThus the worship and divine service of the Gospel is to receive from God gifts; on the contrary, the worship of the Law is to offer and present our gifts to God. We can, however, offer nothing to God unless we have first been reconciled and born again … the chief worship of the Gospel is to wish to receive remission of sins, grace, and righteousness. In the Concordia Triglotta the reference is: Apology to the Augsburg Confession, Article III (of love and the fulfilling of the law), paragraph 310.In the Concordia, Reader's Edition the reference is:  Apology, Article V (III) paragraph 189

Purpose & Desire: What Makes Something “Alive” and Why Modern Darwinism Has Failed to Explain It is yet another in a line of PRO-evolution books by highly credible, mainstream biologists who are stepping forward and insisting that The Emperor really does have No Clothes.Turner is not in any way, shape or form opposed to the idea of evolution itself. He’s no creationist; he’s a professor at State University of New York. In fact he insists we are obligated to study and understand purpose, just to even make sense of evolution itself. And there are so many mechanisms we need to study. The book is extremely well written and congenial. Like Shapiro and Noble, Turner is a gentleman through and through, and does not go on a shaming rampage. This book is no rant. Rather, he invites you to really think and decide for yourself. And like those before him who first cracked the Berlin wall, he carves a middle path between the two extremes. I predict that in 2-5 years, hordes of former prisoners of Neo-Darwinian dogma will make their escape to freedom. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
