I had a chance to chat with Mills from the Flaming Lotus Girls (www.flaminglotusgirls.com) at Bay Area Maker Faire 2023 and see their art piece, Serenity, with interactive flaming firefly sculptures built by students in the San Francisco Area. Flaming Lotus Girls are a collective of makers that teach women how to work with metal. Their pieces are well known at Burning Man and all over the West Coast.
