In den späten 2010er-Jahren wurde Mary Jane Dunphe zu einer mittleren Ikone - zumindest im beschaulichen Kontext des US-amerikanischen Undergrounds. Ihre unverwechselbare Stimme steht im Mittelpunkt von verschieden Releases, vielfach bei Bands oder Projekten, die gerade mal eine EP hinterlassen haben: Vexx, CC Dust, CCFX oder The County Liners (um nur diejenigen darunter aufzuzählen, die auf dem alternativen Lokalsender eures Vertrauens zu hören sind). Danach war zuerst mal Funkstille, bis sie letztes Jahr ihr Debütalbum Stage of Love veröffentlich hat. Dunphe tourt gerade als Support von Chelsea Wolfe durch Europa. Vor ihrem Konzert in der Roten Fabrik sprach sie mit Simeon Thompson über die letzten Jahren, vom Zusammenbruch ihrer letzten Band bis zur Neuorientierung als Solokünstlerin - und über die schwierige Zeit dazwischen.

In today's Tip TV Education segment, Dr. Corvin Codirla, Founder of CCFX talks about finding two negatively correlated assets while constructing a portfolio so as to avoid sharp drawdown and amplify profits. Codirla compares the results of investing in S&P 500 and investing in S&P 500 along with bonds. The latter is a much smarter decision as the drawdown during the 2008 Great Financial Crash was significantly less in the later as compared to the former.
