Bill practiced clinical dentistry for 10 years, while founding a small dental insurance company in Los Angeles. He left clinical practice to work with Prudential Healthcare (later acquired by Aetna), where he ultimately became President of the Dental Division headquartered in New Jersey. Later, he was hired by Wellpoint Healthcare (now Anthem) as General Manager, the senior executive over the dental division and returned to California. After the sale of Dentalxchange in 2003, Bill helped in the founding of Planet DDS the developer of Denticon, the cloud-based practice management software, as SVP of Business Development. Dr. Willey is a Diplomate with the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines, a Diplomate of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy and serves on the Board of Directors for the Dental Division of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy.
