As we roll into the CRC Chemicals 500 at Dover Downs International Speedway, our hero Dale Earnhardt has settled back into his role as driver of the Osterlund Racing number 2. However, six weeks out of the action has compromised his stamina, and his first race back the prior week in Richmond saw him seeking out assistance from fellow racer Lennie Pond. 500 miles at the challenging, high-banked one-mile oval in Delaware is demanding enough for a healthy driver, but for someone who is still mending two broken collarbones it's unthinkable. Apple Bottom Jeans enters the Matchmaker final on Saturday night with five victories in eight starts in 2019. Davis will talk about his star mare and how she transitioned from her four-year-old season. Rodeo Rock is yet to miss the board since kicking off his six-year-old season and driver Andrew McCarthy joins to talk about the success he has had. Rodeo Rock set a seasonal mark at The Meadowlands in his first start of the season, with a 1:49.4 effort. The Downtown Bus put together a remarkable season in 2018 with just over $275,000 in earnings and 11 victories. He capped off his 3-year-old season with a victory in the Maton at Dover Downs. Gillis joins to talk about his star champion and how he feels he is progressing into the upcoming Grand Circuit season. Venaglia, from Yonkers Raceway, will discuss the weekend Grand Circuit races at the half-mile oval.
