Before the episode, we have a special shoutout for our newest Patreon supporters: Anna, Caitlin, and Wendy! If you'd like to join them and get some of our very special rewards, head to patreon.com/sartorialgeek. Our sponsor for this week's episode is Audible. Audible is perfect for people like me who want to read a lot of stories but know they don't have time to actually sit down and read them. Try it for free for 30 days at audibletrial.com/sartorialgeek. If you know anything about geeky fashion, our guest this week needs no introduction. I'm so excited to chat with Catherine Elhoffer from Elhoffer Design about her nerdy inspired fashion collections and get a peek behind the scenes of her business. Elhoffer Design specializes in sweaters and cut-and-sew products like maxi skirts and dresses. All of their products are inspired by geek and pop culture, and all of the clothing is designed by Catherine and made in Los Angeles. It's so hard to find clothing that's actually made in America, and it's so cool that Elhoffer Design has found a way to make that happen. I'm so thankful that Catherine takes us behind the scenes of her geeky fashion business. She talks us through how her team functions, how she manages to do it all as a new mom, and the tools they use to keep it all together. She also explains how her particular business works, from taking pre-orders to planning out a year's worth of designs and conventions. I always learn a lot by talking to other business owners, and this conversation taught me so much about managing a team and getting everything done! Please follow Elhoffer Design on Instagram (@elhofferdesign) and check out their website for the best in geek fashion! Thanks again for listening this week - we're so thankful for your support. If you'd like to help our magazine keep going, we would love if you could subscribe to our quarterly issues. We also have a ton of fun and exclusive rewards on Patreon and appreciate any of the non-financial ways you could help us grow (tell a friend, leave a review, share one of our blog posts, follow us online). Have a great week and stay nerdy! Special thanks to our editor + music composer Dan Ison If you enjoyed this episode, you'll also love our other geeky conversations!
