Welcome, dear listeners. Today I'm welcoming the visionary, deep-hearted, Nisha Moodley. Nisha is an integrative leadership coach, the founder of Global Sisterhood Day, and a mother. As a mixed race woman with a background in health and executive coaching, intergenerational and energy healing and community building, Nisha has a unique understanding of the ecology of leadership and the ability to catalyze deepen growth for her clients. In this conversation, we explore how in her years of holding councils for woman, Nisha has learned to celebrate difference and transmute conflict. We also dive into the misconception that a woman's mid-life is where she should begin to slow down and “be quiet” — and we explore what we have the power to do instead. Tune in to learn more about: How to cultivate safe spaces that aren't conflict-avoidant The meaning of “Eros” and how it relates to how we experience our lives Why it's essential that we honor the ripeness in a woman's mid-life Trusting our inner voices even if what they're saying is unexpected The power of widening our field of support to our environment and ancestors   If you enjoy this episode, I invite you to explore Nisha's new course, Ripe: Awakening the Wise, Erotic Power of Midlife, which she's co-teaching with our last guest Ginny Muir this September.   Connect with Sarah: Follow Sarah on Instagram Learn more about Sarah's work Join Sarah for 21 Days of Untapped Support Connect with Nisha: Visit Nisha's website Follow Nisha on Instagram Tune into the Devotion Podcast Get Nisha's free guided meditation

On this week’s episode I’m talking to Ginny Muir, one of my best friends in the whole world (while she was walking on the beach in Hawaii, no big deal), and it was just the pick-me-up I needed on a gray Connecticut day. Ginny is a coach, healer and guide on the path deeply devoted to consciousness, Love and Truth. She believes that as we heal ourselves, we heal the world — and I share this belief and message in my work! Ginny and I are diving deep into our journey to call true friendship into our lives. You’ll hear about the surprisingly negative feedback Ginny used to get from other people when she’d try to connect with them, how the fear of loss keeps us from opening up or being honest, how it felt for me to finally experience an even energy exchange when I become friends with Ginny, what to do when your friends annoy you (because if it’s a true friendship, they will!), when you should leave a friendship and how to do it gracefully, and so much more. I’m also inviting you to meet up with me at my exclusive four-day in-person event, The Captivating Feminine Leadership Retreat, on the beautiful and sacred land of Sonoma, California. There are some truly amazing limited-time bonuses available now! And as always, I want to hear from you. Eckhart Tolle calls it “a collapse of a perceived meaning in life…an eruption into your life of a deep sense of meaninglessness.” The ‘dark night of the soul,’ as painful as it can be, is a releasing of all that no longer serves you, and an awakening into more of what you truly desire. Many people on a spiritual path are focusing only on the ‘light’ and ‘spiritually bypassing’ the darkness. We don’t want to feel the pain, so we find ways to ‘positive think’ or ‘release’ our way out of it. Yet my experience, and that of this week’s guest Ginny Muir, is that the only way out of the darkness is through – there are no shortcuts. Ginny Muir – a healer, guide, and light & shadow worker – and I recorded this interview a year after she experienced her own dark night, and while I was transitioning out of a relationship from an epic love. It’s raw and it’s real and it covers some amazing truths about the darkness within, the darkness in our lives, and how to navigate it all. This podcast is beneficial whether you’re feeling amazing or hurting – it’s a conversation about embracing all that is. Inspired takeaways include: • Ginny’s personal experience of the dark night of the soul – what it actually looked like for her on a daily basis • How to find the fine balance between ‘wallowing’ in your pain and ‘spiritually bypassing’ your pain • Tips on what to do when you’re in the darkness and navigating a dark night of the soul • How the darkness can become a blessing – finding the light in the shadows • The importance of ‘being with’ what you’re feeling and the incredible learnings you get when you allow yourself to do this • How you question all you know during a dark night, but can find a deeper faith and strength within during that process WANT MORE? As we stand at the precipice of a brand new set of days, perched on the outlook of What Is To Come, the bird’s eye point of reference allows us stunning views of the panorama that we currently inhabit and the array of possibilities that lay before us. Optimism floods our system with the knowing that we have rounded some unseen corner, our systems sigh with relief at the torque that has eased since the turn of the wheel, our spirits swell with hope of our Return. And, also… we are still fully human. Our old patterns have found their way into the new year, our wounded selves still reside inside of us. We are Called to hold a level of seeming dissonance in our ever expanding systems. To hold the vision of Who We Are Becoming while also Being Who We Already Are. It is a new gear for us. Our egos would prefer to have a finish line. To stick a landing of some sort. It is a tempting game to engage in, but one that sets us up for such disappointment. When we try to incessantly gauge where we are and whether we are “there” yet, our tracking and measuring has us missing the point. On today’s Wild Soul Medicine Radio, it’s time for a State of the Union address. A naming of where we are and where we are going, in service of strengthening our Union - inside and out. This one will be delivered in true Divine Feminine style with no grandstanding, applause, or false promises, but instead with reflection, wisdom, compassion, and sisterhood. Sister of my heart, Ginny Muir, will be joining us to play in the field of inquiry as we open to knowing what we know and humble ourselves to being shown that which we don’t. I look forward to Being together with you.
