Testimony of John Sungdo " Greetings, my name is John and I am from Grace Road Church. I am one of the 400 from Grace Road currently living in Fiji, the Beautiful Land that is recorded in the Bible. Being born to a Christian family, I was taught from a very young age to believe in God and that God's Son Jesus Christ died on the cross to take away my sins, that he is my savior and that I am saved because of his death. I was told that if I just believe in Jesus and that I am saved, then I will go to heaven when I die. I was told to ask for all things in Jesus name, and it will be given to me. I was told to cast out demons in Jesus name and proclaim things in Jesus name. I was told that if I sinned, I should confess to God and ask to be forgiven of my sins in Jesus name. However, I never really believed any of this at a young age, nor did I understand why it was necessary to do so. During my last year in high school, I was invited to a retreat by a friend. I took my faith seriously for a couple years, and I started serving at the church more. This was when I started reading the Bible seriously and searched for God to understand Him. I was very active at this time, serving at youth retreats, going on short-term mission trips, serving in communities, and so on. Even at this time, I participated in these things because of my friends, I was never truly there for God nor to serve His will. But, why? At some point, I could not help but to allow the underlying and lingering questions deep within me to finally emerge from their suppression by what I thought was doubting God. Some of the things I wondered were: Why do pastors have different sermons on the same subject or passage? Why does it seem that each of these pastors have differing views of God and paint a different image of Him, yet claim to believe in the same God? Some even disagree and fight each other, yet claim they believe in the same God. Why is that? Is God not the one and only God? I always asked myself was “Why?” That was when I realized that I actually knew nothing about God, and I could not accept the Christian construct of beliefs, rituals and superstitions as it amounted to nothing and did not benefit the soul. Just as I was about to lose hope and live my life the way I wanted to apart from God, I listened to the Word of God proclaimed from Reverend Shin regarding the truth about spiritual tongues and how the Bible is actually written in the spiritual tongue, that is, Heavenly language. It was the first time I heard something like that, and in a different language than my native tongue, yet it was so astonishing and very clear to me. The only way to understand the Bible was to understand what language it is written in and how to interpret it, which is to interpret spiritual thoughts with spiritual words, as it says in 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 13. This is not something easily done by anyone at any time, which is unlike what I was taught about spiritual tongues. This one truth was enough to shatter the foundations upon which my faith was built. This made me realize that there must be one singular truth." Listen to the full episode of John Sungdo to find out how he found the one and only Truth and how he met the one and only Spirit of Truth which made him completely free from the worries of life, from sin and from death. We must return to the Truth especially in this age, the last days, the day of Judgment where plagues like the Corona Virus COVID-19 is befalling the earth. It's not a coincidence but it is a fulfillment of the Scripture. Even though the church gates in Korea are being shut(starting with Shincheonji) the leaders are not fearing God. They speak lies differing from the Bible practicing lawlessness and deceiving the church people. But there is only one Truth and only one Spirit of Truth. And the another Helper, the Spirit of Truth has already come on earth. So hear, what the Spirit of Truth says to the churches.
