Champagne and Bullets (1993) Directed By: John De Hart, James Paradise Starring: John De Hart, Wings Hauser, William Smith, some half naked fuckers This "movie" goes by a few different names, "Champagne and Bullets", "Road to Revenge" and "GetEven" ("GetEven" is linked above) - and are all different cuts of the same film. Regardless of that, it's undeniable that this movie was written, produced, directed and stars John De Hart. Hot on the heels of our Dirty Harry episode, the Afterthoughts crew brings some fitting titles to Recommend or Refute. Ryan decided to revisit Clint Eastwood's directorial debut with Play Misty For Me (1971), Dixon slowed his heart rate down so he properly attune to Andrei Tarkovsky's sci-fi masterpiece Solaris (1972), and John found another Loose Cannon Cop flick (nowhere near as good as Dirty Harry) in the form of John De Hart's personal opus Champagne and Bullets (1993). It's quite an eclectic set of films to discuss, so we hope you made space on your "do" and "do not" watchlists.
Cooper and Nolan are raising a glass to the fine folks at Vinegar Syndrome this week, as they sample CHAMPAGNE AND BULLETS! This supremely low-budget piece of straight-to-video action is the unique vision of John De Hart, a man who Nolan actually referred to as a "quadruple threat" for his efforts writing, directing, starring in AND providing the soundtrack for the movie. Is this a sadly overlooked diamond in the rough, or a sleazy vanity project that history was right to ignore? The answer probably won't surprise you, so get ready to bite the bullet; this episode (featuring a whole bunch of Miller High Life and Bulleit Bourbon) is one you'll definitely want to toast to.
Music: "Shimmy Slide" by John De Hart
This week's episode shimmy slides into 1993's "Champagne and Bullets." We talk at length about lawyer-turned-filmmaker John De Hart's no-budget action flick, featuring insane performances from Wings Hauser and William Smith. Listen now!

Special Delivery Dev returns as special guest this week as John De Hart's sole film, Champagne and Bullets (aka GETEVEN/Road To Revenge) take's on King of the B-Movies Joel D. Wynkoop's Lost Faith. Shimmy Sliding? Not a problem. Gratuitous nudity? Not a problem. Ass-kicking? Not a problem. Cohesiveness? BIG PROBLEM. Sit back and take a listen as we dissect the 3 different cuts of Champagne and Bullets and also try to figure out how the hell Steve Nekoda kicks so much ass.Get 20% off + FREE SHIPPING at https://www.manscaped.com using our code 'SUPER'Check out Muck Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-muck-podcast/id1491978274Visit www.supermediabrospodcast.com for all past, present, and future episodes!Leave us a rating/review on https://www.Podchaser.com/supermediabrosSubscribe to us on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/supermediabrospodcast Super Media Bros Merch: https://www.storefrontier.com/store/super-media-bros-podcastSuper Media Bros on Social Mediahttps://www.Facebook.com/SuperMediaBroshttps://www.Twitter.com/SuperMediaBros_https://www.Instagram.com/SuperMediaBrosPodcastFounding member of OddPods Mediahttps://www.facebook.com/oddpodsmedianetworkhttps://www.twitter.com/oddpodsmediahttps://www.instagram.com/oddpodsmedia

The bin is back with an amazing "film" written, directed, and starring John De Hart. If you like episodes like Demon Cop, Lost Faith or Miami Connection, you'll love this movie. Co-starring an incredibly drunk Wings Hauser with Grindbin All-Stars William Smith and Pamela Jean Bryant, Champagne and Bullets (also called GetEven or Road to Revenge) is an incredible ride.
We've waited a long time to get our hands on this movie! John De Hart's 'Champagne and Bullets'. It's the most action-packed action movie starring the most action-packed action star, JOHN DE HART!!! patreon.com/garbagedaypodcast
John De Hart's one and only movie. Full of songs, action, jokes, and romance, this is the misunderstood genius. Look for part 2 in a few days!
Surely no one can argue that some movies are better than others...does it not logically follow that there must be one movie somewhere that is objectively the worst one ever made? Tastes being what they are, it's really not possible to make that overall judgement, but we dare anyone to challenge the statement that we cover two of the very worst ones on this episode of the podcast. Joined in the cave by friend-of-the-show Eli ( click on his name to see some of his truly awesome work ), we look at some delightful and mind-boggling trash. We start off with 1997's "Geteven" aka "Road to Revenge" from Mr John De Hart esquire...a celebration of 80s and 90s action movies with actual movie stars costarring alongside Mr De Hart. It's bad, but in a very charming and goofy way. We follow that up with the excremental "Fateful Findings" by the legend Neil Breen from 2013. This one was an endurance test that we made it through, but were not better for it. It is bad...really bad. Will we watch more movies from Breen? Probably. Will they be better than this one? Who the hell knows! Let us know what you'd like us to look at next by writing to flickersfrom@yahoo.com or flickersfrom@gmail.com. You can also reach us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Juletider! Skoj! Road to Revenge, även känd som "Geteven". En mans soloprojekt från 1993. John De Hart når inte riktigt upp till Neil Breen-nivå, men de goda ögonblicken är mycket bra. Wings Houser levererar en hypnotisk rollprestation!
Thank you John De Hart for making us dumber than we were before watching this pile!
This week we venture into 1994's delusional vanity project of trial lawyer John De Hart, Road to Revenge! It's a surreal, romantic, and (atonal) musical disasterpiece! Truly, one-of-a-kind z-grade schlock with a heart of gold, with the most awkward sex scenes ever filmed. AND starring Wings Hauser?! Plus: matt sounds like he's in a tin can catch and release songs on Trial PG boobs Jake tries to convince Matt to like anime porn store employee face-off and more more more!!!!
We’re on a road… A road… to REVENGE! Our flick this week was a recommendation from our friends over at Bad Movie Sunday (which Bristol Bad Film Club was kind enough to give us access to), and we cannot thank them enough for it. We were joined by our friend (and first-time guest), Gray, as we viewed and discussed the masterpiece that is Road to Revenge (1993) aka GETEVEN aka Karate Cowboy aka Satanic Panic. Just kidding about those last two… Or are we? Road to Revenge follows disgraced former police officer (and current limo driver), Rick Bode, as he attempts to take down a Satanic cult- which happens to be headed by his former partner, Normad. Aided by his girlfriend, Cindy (a former cult member), his perpetually drunk best friend, Huck, and a Native American mannequin, Rick sets off to get even. Armed with nothing more than some leather pants and a song, John De Hart mystifyingly manages to make this vanity project completely entertaining (and bizarrely endearing). Listen up as we discuss the Shimmy Slide, black-belt poodles, and uncomfortable sex scenes involving ice cubes! Check out Bad Movie Sunday!
