It's our 50th episode! To celebrate, we have lined up a TRIPLE TREAT with Doctor Ethan Lyon along for the ride. We shoot up the streets with Isaac Hayes in Truck Turner (1974) directed by Jonathan Kaplan. Then we indulge in some Indonesian black magic insanity with Special Silencers (1982), directed by Arizal. And finally, we go for maximum bamboozlement with famed egosploitation miracle worker Neil Breen's Fateful Findings (2013). Vengeful pimps, rhizomial gut explosions and completely incoherent messianic ramblings - just what every 50th celebration needs. We didn't think it was possible to spoil Special Silencers, but will be announcing a Spoiler Territory section for the other two films. So if you haven't seen them before you listen, you can nevertheless avoid spoilers for Truck Turner by skipping ahead to the 1:01:33 mark, and for Fateful Findings by skipping ahead to 2:25:36. This week, we're finally firing up the Breen machine. That's right, until now, we've never sat through one of Neil Breen's movies. Now that we've thoroughly flicked our Breens into submission, we can now say "Breen there, done that." Fateful Findings! A movie about... something. Confusing cascading cacophony of cubes, killing, and cuckoldry! Wanton destruction of laptops! Re-gag rescue! Soft-core stepdaughter skinny dip bubble bath! Nip slip polo shirt drip! Burgerless buns and bunless glizzers! No 911 for your overdosing girlfriend while you bury your cube in another woman's mushroom hole! Who is Mr. Insurance?! Sam Hell contract cameo? Faulty gauze protocol! Neil Breen's ass, and much, much more on this week's episode of The Worst Movie Ever Made! www.theworstmovieevermade.com
In this episode, we begin our month of bad movies by discussing the infamous film Fateful Findings. This film by infamous director Neil Breen took us all on quite a journey.Support the Show.

Unfortunatly for him it seems like everyone in his life is currently having personal problems. Amy and Jim, the best friends, are busy hating each other in a loveless marriage, and Emily his girlfriend is stuck with a terrible pill addiction! It's up to Dylan to solve all of these issues, or what actually happens which is he ignores them as everything crumbles around him. But don't worry, here's his old love interest! Just in time to replace his dead girlfriend! Seriously, listen to this episode because this movie is WILD
The Motion Picture Men wrap up their 2024 with a look at Neil Breen's Fateful Findings, the movie that boldly takes a stand against secret government and corporate secretsVan's choice for MPM film is one of the darlings of the "so bad it's good" B-movie industry and it starts off with a literal bang as Dylan (played by Breen himself) is mowed down by a Rolls Royce in the middle of a crosswalk. But mystical powers that aren't ever actually explained allow Dylan to heal almost immediately and he winds up doing the deed while covered in bloody bandages in the shower. Let's just say there's a lot to unpack here, and you'd better put on some gloves before doing so

Carley Cooper simply would not rest until she'd introduced Shawn to the astonishing, remarkable, time-bending effort that is LOVE ON A LEASH, a film belongs in the annals with the likes of Tommy Wiseau's The Room and Neil Breen's Fateful Findings. It's a film so strange, so overwhelming, so baffling, that it took Shawn and Carley a year to reunite after they recorded the first part of this episode to record part two, a historic first for Missing Frames. Will they survive the experience and live to record another podcast on another day? Only time will tell.HOSTSShawn EastridgeCarley Cooper
Well, its April Fools' Day again which means we can cover one non-horror movie. Why Brett picked Neil Breen's Fateful Findings is beyond me.
It's one of my favourite themed months - JanuAgony! A month where we purposefully watch a bunch of bad movies because sometimes you just need to point at something lesser than you and laugh. Rob and I are once again kicking things off almost too strongly as we finally tip our toes into the world of Neil Breen.

I know it has been such a long time, but WELCOME BACK to Nikoli's Kitchen! In this week's episode I talk about where I've been and the "log jam" that is my brain, and I talk about making Challah Bread from scratch on a livestream and turning it into French Toast with strawberries and a cream cheese mascarpone drizzle! Thank you so much for tuning in, and make sure you come back every week for a brand new episode! Featured Recipe for this Episode: Challah Bread: 560 grams all-purpose flour (about 4-1/4 c)* 1 T yeast** 2 t salt 3/4 c lukewarm water 1/4 c + 2 T honey*** 1/4 c + 2 T vegetable oil 4 eggs at room temperature Challah bread recipe was followed (mostly) precisely from https://www.onceuponachef.com/recipes/challah.html. Please head to the blog and check it out for the full instructions. My adaptations are below- * When I made this I didn't realize the website contains both metric measures and cup measurements. I also over-measured the flour at about 4-1/2 c. The dough still turned out very sticky, though, and I didn't have to adjust any other ingredients. * The recipe from the blog recommends using the dough hook to mix and aerate the dry ingredients (flour, yeast, and salt), however, this doesn't really work as well as I'd like. I just used a hand whisk to mix the dry ingredients before putting the bowl onto the mixer. I also whisked together the wet ingredients before adding them to the dry mixture. ** I used normal yeast in the recipe and not rapid-rise yeast. It needs a longer rise time in this case which I did not allow for, so my challah was more dense. Make sure you allot for the additional rise time if you don't have rapid-rise yeast. *** I recommend using a nice, fragrant honey to elevate the flavor profile of this. I used a raw wildflower honey for mine. Sliced Strawberries: 32 oz strawberries, thinly sliced 1/4 t salt 1/4 c powdered sugar Combine the ingredients in a bowl and toss or stir until the strawberries are well-coated. Refrigerate. Mascarpone Cream Cheese Drizzle: 8 oz 1/3 fat cream cheese 4 oz mascarpone cheese 2 c powdered sugar 2 T heavy cream 1 T vanilla 1/4 to 1/3 c whole milk (more or less to desired consistency) Combine the ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment. Start mixing at low speed (to avoid a mess). Once things start to blend together, increase speed to medium up to medium-high and mix until well-combined, adding more milk to reach the desired consistency (make sure you turn your mixer back down before adding). Mine ended up being a little too thick for "drizzling" so I'd recommend a thinner consistency, maybe as thick as syrup but still pourable. French Toast: 3 eggs 1 egg white (leftover from the recipe) 1 T vanilla 1/4 c whole milk Whisk together all ingredients. Cut 3/4" slices of your cooled challah bread and soak in the egg mixture for at least a minute, flipping them over halfway through. You need the egg to soak into the bread. Cook until well-browned on both sides. Serve topped with sliced strawberries and a drizzle of your mascarpone cream cheese topping. So, it's been something like 4 months, but we are back with a new episode (recorded 4 months ago). And we just jump right into it - the Neil Breen classic Fateful Findings. Mike and Corinne forced Nick to watch it and it nearly broke him.
"Please God make it stop.." Those words were inside our heads the entire time that we watched this week's movie, Twisted Pair. A movie by our favorite cultivator of cinematic crap, Neil Breen. And boy oh boy, this one was bad. Never did we think that we would long for the days of tuna, laptops, and magic rocks...but leave it to everyone's favorite god, alien, humanoid, cyborg-jesus; we started to miss the old day's of Breen. Instead what we were left with was a bizarre green screen hellscape that then splits it's time with an abandonded community college in Nevada. Special thanks to Wikipedia, as there would have been NO WAY that we would be able to parse a plot out of this film without the plot summary. DISCORD!!! Take the conversation further! In the 24th episode of The Cinematic Odyssey Max and Tristen discuss the classic and timeless Fanny and Alexander from one of cinemas greatest filmmakers, Ingmar Bergman. On the episode Max and Tristen go back and forth with hot takes about the Christmas film "genre", the choices Bergman made, and the dark themes of the film. It gets heated as Tristen vehemently defends the genius of Ingmar Bergman while Max attempts to tear it down.

In what is now a annual tradition come August, we celebrate surviving another year in podcasting with the gentle souls of Boomer Death Squad (Danny, Joe and Matt) by covering a remarkably bad, politically-bent, movie. Last year, we commented on what was the GW Bush era time-capsule / series of wrong turns and bad calls (by a legacy act spoofmaster of Zucker Brothers of residual fame) called An American Carol. This year, we turn toward even sleazier, more mind-bendingly ill-conceived fare and bring you an off the cuff commentary track + full episode discussion of the never-should-have-been-made Easy Rider 2: The Ride Back (2012). A film written, directed, produced by and starring complete and utter nobodies (save, sort of, for Jeff Fahey and the inexplicably "present" Rance Howard) and done against the wishes of every single person who worked on the 1969 original and now canonized classic film. A story about artificial intelligence, programmable DNA, awful facial hair, and a lot of voiceover. Listen in as me and returning guest and resident expert in Breenism, Richard, complete our season long look into the collective works of Neil Breen by breaking down his fifth work. Written and directed by wunderkind auteur Neil Breen (Double Down, I Am Here....Now, Fateful Findings, Pass Thru), it is the fifth and (as of this recording) most recent film by Breen. Indie Film Café called the film "a masterpiece of the WTF," and One Star Classics said they "don't even know where to start describing the actual movie." Neil, ya might have outdone yourself with this one. It tells the story of a set of twins, both played by Breen, who were taken by an entity and gifted "powers." One uses them for good to complete "missions" and the other does not. There are strained relationships, secret missions for a secret agency, a murder basement, and a whole lot more weird shit. The film is currently available on Prime Video and DVD.

Odds and Ends: We once again return to the vast well of shit talking streaming services while simultaneously expressing how convenient they make watching things. It's cool that 5 companies own everything as long as I don't have to fuckin rent it on Amazon or YouTube Again. We also discuss the season 3 trailer of The Boys and wax philosophical about the show versus the edgy comic series. Feature Film: A true auteur's auteur, we're discussing the inevitable, inimitable, un-imitatable Neil Breen. We did this one in person because you have to buy this movie or find... other methods. But be warned, if you pirate it, government secret hacking Breen will be on your ass. What a movie. Next week's movie: We say Zodiac, but it's actually The Man from Earth (2007) You can join the conversation every Wednesday at 7pm EST on Twitch and Youtube! Odds and Ends: It's (technically) our one-year anniversary! But this isn't our anniversary episode. It's complicated. Nick revisits a Coen Brothers classic, and we talk about our other favorites of theirs, as well as the mysticism of Nicolas Cage. We talk about Wordle, because we're your middle aged mom. Feature Film: A Prophet is a movie. It follows a guy. Who is in prison. He's threatened. And has to do some things he doesn't want to do. And maybe does some drugs or something. Neat. This thing broke our rating scale. Next week's movie: Fateful Findings (2014) You can join the conversation every Wednesday at 7pm EST on Twitch and Youtube! A story about young love, magical days, addictions, and no more books. Listen in as me and resident specialist in Breenism, Richard, as we plumb the depths of this strange and abstruse masterpiece. Written, directed, produced, and edited by master indie auteur Neil Breen (Double Down, I Am Here.... Now, Fateful Findings, Pass Thru, Twisted Pair), Screen Anarchy called the film "compelling in its pervasive oddness," and Indie Film Cafe said "never in history has $25.95 plus shipping and handling been more wisely spent!" With acclaim like that do you really need more reasons to see this? If so, did you know that Breen was also the accountant, craft service, special make-up effects, location manager, production designer, sound editor, lighting design, wardrobe, and set decorator for the film? This man's talent knows no bounds! It tells the story of Dylan (the head honcho, Breen), an author of one book and hacker of many government and corporate secrets, as he suffers a car accident that sets him on a collision course with his childhood love, Leah. Along the way magical things happen, he hacks more secrets, sees psychiatrists, people get murdered, hotdogs get knocked over, and lots of looooong pauses in dialogue are taken. Look, I cannot possibly do this film justice trying to explain it. See it in all it's glory for yourself. The film is currently available for rent or purchase Amazon Prime or Apple TV, and on DVD at https://www.fatefulfindings.biz/.
In which we get a call on our Crime Hotline, talk through Neil Breen's trashterpiece "Fateful Findings," and play a brand new trivia game called "Is It Incest?"
A story about cyborg space Jesus, corruption, environmentalism, and sisters who go into prostitution way too quickly. Listen in as me and Richard, our resident specialist in Breenism, discuss the technique, philosophy, and confounding style of this enchanting indie film. Written, directed, produced, and edited by REALTOR®-cum-auteur Neil Breen (Double Down, I Am Here.... Now, Fateful Findings, Pass Thru, Twisted Pair), this film has been called "unfocused and confusing" by Chicken Dynasty, while Marc Fusion likened it to "mind melting cinema." Look, finding legitimate reviews of this film was tough. Considering Breen has been wowing the indie circuit for years I am surprised. You know what, just Google "Neil Breen." It tells the story of a cosmic cyborg-like Jesus figure who comes to Earth in a shitty paperweight. Of course he chooses to land in Las Vegas and immediately laments the downfall of his "project," our species... the human species. From there he steals clothes and truck from a junkie couple, cruises around the Vegas Strip, befriends a dying old man in a wheel chair, has some sort of relationship with an environmentalist turned escort, and literally wipes away corruption in the form of crooked lobbyists and politicians. This film is batshit. Neil stopped selling it solo on his website, but you can find it at https://dvdlady.com/dvd/i-am-here-now-2009-starring-neil-breen-on-dvd/ (dvdlady.com).
It's a new year, and before this one becomes a dumpster fire like the last two, we want to help you get it off on the right foot with an episode about the legitimate cult favourite so-bad-it's-good movie Fateful Findings. Is Neil Breen going to become one of our new favourite directors? Listen to find out!
Up next, we do a re-watch of Neil Breen's 2013 trashterpiece, FATEFUL FINDINGS with special guest Amy Anderson and Americas Most Wanted John Joe. A peek inside legendary filmmaker Neil Breen's mind causes a predictable amount of distress in our hosts. The kind of fear and confusion that only global thermonuclear war or a single viewing of Fateful Findings could bring about.
