Royal Ascot 2026, reviewed through advanced sectional data. Total Performance Data analyst Adam Mills joins In The Money Media's Peter Thomas Fornatale to break down the meeting's biggest performances — finishing speeds, top speed, stride length and stride frequency — and what the numbers reveal about the road to the 2026 Breeders' Cup at Keeneland. We dig into the puzzling Queen Anne Stakes and Ten Bob Tony's 50/1 shock, explain exactly what "finishing speed" measures and why US dirt and European turf races run so differently, then turn to the Win-and-You're-In angles: Mission Central in the King Charles III Stakes, Ombudsman's monster Prince of Wales's Stakes repeat, and the gamble of the week — Bacio and Wesley Ward's electric sprint in the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Throughout, the conversation is about cross-form clues: which Ascot winners actually project to Keeneland, and which might get found out around a bend. A must-listen for handicappers, data-driven bettors, and anyone tracking the 2026 Breeders' Cup form lines.

Michael Adolphson joins In The Money Media's Peter Thomas Fornatale to go race by race through the meeting — the winners, the tough beats, and the cross-form clues that point all the way to the 2026 Breeders' Cup at Keeneland. From Ten Bob Tony's 50/1 shock in the Queen Anne to Mission Central's King Charles III Stakes win, Bow Echo's gutsy St James's Palace, Ombudsman's monster Prince of Wales's Stakes repeat, Scandinavia's stretch duel in the Gold Cup, Venetian Sun in the Commonwealth Cup, Precise in the Coronation, Almeraq's 25/1 Jubilee, and the American story of the week — Bacio and Wesley Ward in the Palace of Holyroodhouse — plus the Norfolk and the next generation of juvenile sprinters. Michael breaks down where each of these horses might land on the road to Keeneland, which trips suit, and the Win-and-You're-In picture across the meeting. Essential viewing for handicappers, bettors, and anyone following European Breeders' Cup form lines through the summer.

At The Wire with Scott Miller Reddy's Echo Returns at Keeneland: A Racehorse Story from Trackside to the Winner's Circle A Racehorse Story Opens the Episode The episode begins with a lyrical theme about racing, memory, glory, and the spirit of the track. The introduction frames the program as a story-driven look at Reddy's Echo, a racehorse returning from a four-month layoff and making what the transcript presents as his four-year-old debut in 2009. The host explains that the goal is to learn where the horse came from, how he became a racehorse, and what his plans may be moving forward. Behind-the-Scenes Production of the Introduction A substantial early portion captures the host and production voice working through the on-camera introduction. The producer encourages the host to repeat lines, praises the improved delivery, and reassures him that the concept will work on camera. The exchange shows the program being shaped in real time, with the host refining the message that each racehorse has a unique story and that Reddy's Echo's story begins with the International Equine Network. Plans to Educate New Racing Fans The host describes a broader intention to help people understand the racing world beyond what they see during major events like the Derby. He discusses filming at Fasig-Tipton, explaining what a sales company does, talking about horses that graduate into higher-profile racing, and visiting farms during a time when young horses are visible. The purpose is to make horse racing more accessible to new fans by showing the path from farms and sales to major races. Trackside Activity and Race-Day Atmosphere The middle of the transcript contains substantial trackside background audio, much of it fragmented, hurried, or garbled by the automated transcription. Usable portions show people coordinating shots, watching movement around the track, reacting to the moment, and trying to capture useful lines or visuals. Several repeated automated loops were removed, while unresolved background audio was preserved as marked unclear material rather than rewritten into unsupported dialogue. Reddy's Echo's Race and Jockey Reaction After the race, the host interviews the jockey about Reddy's Echo's performance. The jockey says the horse ran very well, responded positively after the layoff, recovered after being pinched back, and handled the synthetic track nicely. He notes that the surface did not seem to hit the horse in the face as harshly and that Reddy's Echo appeared to travel over it well, presenting the race as a strong and encouraging return. Winner's Circle Reflections at Keeneland The closing interview takes place in the winner's circle at Keeneland with two owner or representative voices identified from the transcript as Kevin and Brian Solomon, though the exact names require verification. They describe relief after the win, especially given the pressure of being a favorite in a field with other capable horses. They reflect on the horse moving forward, the patience shown during the race, and the excitement of winning on a beautiful, packed day at Keeneland before the theme returns to close the episode.

In The Money Media's Peter Thomas Fornatale (PTF) and Jonathon Kinchen (JK) catch up following a unique running of Preakness 2026 this past Saturday (May 16) at Laurel Park instead of the usual host track Pimlico, which is currently undergoing renovations. PTF & JK offer reactions and analysis of Preakness 2026 including on the mildly surprising win by Napoleon Solo, who scored under jockey Paco Lopez at a square price of 8-1, and talk in general about the 2026 Triple Crown season which started with a bang from Golden Tempo's sensational stretch run to win Kentucky Derby 2026 for jockey Jose Ortiz and trainer Cherie DeVaux. Triple Crown focus now shifts to three weeks from now up in Saratoga for the final jewel of horse racing's signature series with Belmont Stakes 2026, which so far has attracted the likes of Golden Tempo among other Kentucky Derby starters who opted to skip this year's Preakness Stakes. What did you think of the Preakness? What are your takeaways from the race? Share your thoughts in the comments! PTF sits down with Paul Halloran, author of the new book about Cody's Wish. Cody Dorman's story captivated the nation as the racehorse Cody's Wish rose to prominence. Cody met the foal in 2018 through Make-a-Wish, and the owners named the horse after Cody after seeing their connection. Cody traveled across the country to watch the horse run, drawing national attention.Cody saw Cody's Wish win a Breeders' Cup race at Keeneland in 2022 and was at Santa Anita in 2023 when the horse ended his career with a thrilling victory. The next day, on the flight home, Cody fell asleep on his mother's shoulder and did not wake up. While his death caused immeasurable sadness, those close to him were comforted that he was there for his horse right to the end. This is a story of resilience, triumph, and love—of the inexplicable yet undeniable bond between a courageous boy and the champion racehorse he considered his best friend. And it is a story that is still unfolding, with a life-size monument at Kentucky Horse Park debuting in 2025 and the first crop of Cody's Wish foals heading to the yearling sales in 2026, to race as two-year-olds in 2027.
