Jesus Changes Everything | Restored & Sent After the resurrection, Jesus didn't wait for the disciples to figure things out — He met them in the middle of their fear, behind locked doors, and changed everything. In John 20:19–23, we see the risen Jesus offer four things we all desperately need: His presence, His peace, His power, and His purpose. Because of His victory over the grave, we don't have to rely on our own strength to navigate life's fears and uncertainties. Jesus steps into our lives, breathes new life into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, and calls us to live boldly for Him. Key Insights: • Jesus meets us in our fear — not after we've fixed it • The peace Jesus gives is deeper than circumstances • Jesus offers what no one else can: peace, power, and purpose • Every believer is called and empowered to be sent • The resurrection isn't the end of the story — it's the beginning of new life Key Scripture: John 20 (https://www.bible.com/bible/111/JHN.20.NIV) This message invites us to open every closed-off place in our lives and trust Jesus to fill them with His freedom. His peace quiets our fears. His Spirit empowers us to live fully. His purpose gives meaning to every step we take. Wherever you are, Jesus is ready to meet you — and change everything. 16For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. Fornecessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!17For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward, but if not of my own will, I am still entrusted witha stewardship.18What then is my reward? That in my preachingI may present the gospel free of charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel. 19Forthough I am free from all,I have made myself a servant to all, that I mightwin more of them.20To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I became as one under the law (though not being myself under the law) that I might win those under the law.21Tothose outside the law I becameas one outside the law (not being outside the law of God butunder the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law.22To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak.I have become all things to all people, thatby all means I might save some.23I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.

In part three of our Playmaker series, Mike show us how to carry the good news about Jesus to our community and world.
We exist to invite everyone, everywhere to know and follow Jesus. We Put JESUS FIRST We Do LIFE TOGETHER We PRAY FERVENTLY We GIVE GENEROUSLY We LIVE SENT What does it mean to LIVE SENT? “As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.” — John 17:18 “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” — Mark 10:45 “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.” — Galatians 4:4–5 “Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.'” — John 20:21 The King's command is to LIVE SENT. How are we to LIVE SENT? 1. We are sent to invite. 2. We are sent to serve. 3. We are sent to give. 4. We are sent to proclaim. “For ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.' How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!'” — Romans 10:13–15 Where are we to LIVE SENT? EVERYWHERE LIVE SENT

As it is written,How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!16Butthey have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says,Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?17Sofaith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

There are two things Hall of Fame coach Mark Richt knows well — college football and the gospel of Jesus. Listen to this week's episode below as Richt shares his heart for discipleship through sports and the importance of living on mission. In this episode of the N.C. Baptists podcast, Executive Director-Treasurer Todd Unzicker sits down with Mark Richt, retired Hall of Fame football coach for the University of Georgia and the University of Miami, to discuss college football, Richt's testimony and what it means to live on mission. Richt was also influential in Unzicker coming to know Christ when Unzicker was a college football reporter covering Richt's Georgia teams. Richt now works as a college football analyst and serves as a national spokesperson for Send Relief, the compassion ministry arm of the North American Mission Board. Richt will be a keynote speaker at the upcoming N.C. Missions Conference sponsored by Baptists on Mission, being held April 5-6 in Charlotte. The conference theme is “Living Sent.”
