Let's get honest about a lie holding too many of us back. Somewhere along the way, we picked up this false idea that humility means shrinking, that dreaming big somehow makes us prideful. But here's the truth—thinking bigger isn't prideful, it's faithful. Playing small doesn't honor God. Stewarding your gifts—that's what glorifies Him. So today, we're tearing down the lie that safe and small equals holy. We're stepping into the dreams deep in your heart—the ones so bold and beautiful, you almost feel guilty for wanting them. The ones that whisper, “Who do you think you are?” Here's the answer: You are His. And it's time to trust Him enough to dream bigger. In this episode of Side Notes, Pastors Arch and Josh dive into one of the toughest conversations out there: money. Reflecting on Josh's recent message from The Ridge's series I Might Have a Problem, they unpack a simple but powerful truth—“Honor God with how you give, save, and live with His money.” Josh breaks down the message's three biblical anchors (giving, saving, and living within our means), and together they clarify common misunderstandings—like why the Bible doesn't actually say money is the root of all evil. Of course, it wouldn't be Side Notes without some laughs along the way. From joking about Josh's 19th wedding anniversary dinner plans to Arch roasting branded golf balls he couldn't wait to “hit into the woods,” their banter sets the stage for an honest, insightful, and surprisingly fun conversation about finances, faith, and what really matters.
The Word of God commands believers to give honor to the Lord. Honor is first given when a person believes in Jesus as Savior, for the one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father. God is given honor when a person walks in righteousness. Many honor God with their lips, but their heart is far from Him. Honor is shown to God in our generosity as we are called to honor the Lord from our wealth. Some are rich with money, others are rich with resources, material goods, time, and knowledge. Are you giving God honor?

A wife should embrace her femininity not just in spirit, but in how she presents herself. Dressing in a feminine, modest way reflects the beauty of your God-given role. You weren't created to look like a man, compete with men, or dress like them. You were created to radiate womanhood, graceful, gentle, and distinct. That doesn't mean dressing provocatively or seeking attention from others. It means choosing modest, elegant, and pleasing clothing for your husband. Honor him with your appearance and honor yourself by looking like the woman God made you to be.
Deuteronomy 23 outlines laws that preserve the holiness and dignity of Israel as God's chosen people. It addresses who may enter the assembly, the importance of cleanliness in the camp, respect for personal property, care for the vulnerable, and the need for purity in both physical and spiritual matters. The chapter reinforces the call for Israel to be set apart and walk in obedience, reflecting God's character. #Deuteronomy23 #SetApart #HolinessMatters #GodsStandards #PurityAndObedience #BibleWisdom #SendMeRadio #OldTestamentLaw #FaithfulLivingBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/sendme-radio--732966/support.

In this week's message, Pastor Tom continues through James 2, challenging us to reject worldly favoritism and embrace God's standards of honor and value. Highlighting how faith and love—not wealth or status—are what matter to God, he urges believers to evaluate others through a kingdom lens. We're reminded that honoring those who dishonor God distorts our witness, while honoring the lowly reflects God's heart. With stories, Scripture, and conviction, Pastor Tom calls us to love the overlooked, uphold justice, and reflect Christ's values in a world obsessed with appearances.

Honor God with Your Body – Lesson 11: Lawsuits Among Believers (1 Corinthians 6:1-11)In this powerful teaching, we explore Paul's exhortation to the Corinthians, urging them not to take their disputes before secular courts but to resolve conflicts within the body of Messiah. Paul reminds us that believers are called to judge with wisdom and righteousness, following the biblical foundation found in Deuteronomy 1:16 and Isaiah 11:3-4.Jesus, our righteous judge, calls us to a higher standard—one of forgiveness, reconciliation, and peace. Rather than seeking vengeance, we are to reflect His love and justice in our dealings with others. The assembly is meant to be equipped to handle disputes with godly wisdom.Forgiveness and reconciliation are central to our faith. Our witness is impacted by how we handle conflict.Christ is our example of righteousness and trust in God's justice.1 Corinthians 6:1-11Are you handling disputes in a way that honors God?
