Xander Bogaerts is gone. Red Sox fans are furious. And in the week following that bombshell, the team designated Jeter Downs and Eric Hosmer for assignment and traded Hoy Park after mere weeks in the organization while the last of the big free agents came off the board. Chris and Ian tried to make sense of it all, plus actual news on what might be in store for Noah Song, public relations, Trevor Story's arm, and whether FSG should sell. Got something to say? Comedy legend Jackie Mason has died at 93. Known for his quick-witted observational humor, he entertained us for decades with stories from his orthodox Jewish background. His family moved to New York City, where he became an ordained rabbi. He broke into comedy in the Catskills in upstate New York in the 1960s and his career started to take off. Jackie enjoyed success in the 1980s with a solo show called "Jackie Mason's The World According to Me!" Other successful one-man shows followed, including "Jackie Mason: Brand New" in 1990-91; "Jackie Mason: Politically Incorrect" in 1994-95; "Love Thy Neighbor" in 1996-97; "Much Ado About Everything" in 1999-2000 and "Jackie Mason: Freshly Squeezed" in 2005. His final show was called "Jackie Mason: The Ultimate Jew." Mason also had a recurring role as the voice of Rabbi Hyman Krustofsky, the father of Krusty the Clown, on "The Simpsons". Jackie was promoting "Much Ado About Everything" when we recorded this interview on CISL/650.

This episode backtracks to the days of yore when we jibber jabbered with Bohdan and Nate so much that we had to save some of their finer points for a rainy day. Rhonda has exited! Offscreen! Uh, bye! So Amanda has moved in (to Rhonda's old unit, which we know was a studio?) and is busily making friends with her female neighbours. Jo seems to enjoy hanging out until it becomes clear that, with Amanda finally moving on from Billy, she has taken notice of Jake -- and just in time for Jake and Jo to have moved in together, too. Why isn't Billy still on Amanda's menu? Well, Alison's stalker has started getting more aggressive. He's even gone after Keith with a tire iron, just like he did Billy! Surprisingly, Billy starts to get suspicious of this report since no one ever told him he was struck by a tire iron (and, of course, we know Keith just hit himself on the corner of his hotel room TV, so how he passed that off as a tire iron injury to anyone who examined him, we are sure we don't know). Billy digs into this new crime, "stalking," and finds out that the people who do it have usually experienced a romantic rejection. But will he be able to convince Alison? Jane is ready to exit her marriage with a minimum of hassle, but Michael the diva can't even agree to a no-fault divorce due to the injury it will cause his pride. After the ladies' squad end up out for dinner at the same restaurant as Michael and Kimberly, however, Jane reconsiders whether she does want to talk to a ruthless divorce lawyer Amanda (who else) knows and try to get a payout in the form of Michael's future earnings. We discuss it all in our podcast on "Much Ado About Everything"! JOIN THE AWT CLUB

Episode 157 is here and we have a ton to talk about! The post Episode 157 – Much Ado About Everything! appeared first on Dudes In Blue.
Much Ado About Everything is back after a very long hiatus. Shan joins me as we discuss the lack of true leadership in current American society.
Air Date Sep 8, 1993. Amanda throws a party at Melrose to celebrate her purchase of the building and thus moves into Rhonda's vacant apartment after she leaves. At the same time, Amanda begins to turn her sights on Jake, much to Jo's anger and jealousy. Jane hands Michael divorce papers and at the urging of her friends, she decides to lay her hands on his future earnings, since she supported his college studies, while he shows Kimberly their new beach front house they plan to live in. Meanwhile, Alison receives more harassing phone calls from Keith and still doesn't suspect him, and when she continues to be with Billy, Keith hits himself on the head, claiming that it was the stalker. Yes. I know what some of you are thinking. 'Tis true. I did say in season one I would NEVER have Al Morgan back on the mic for another episode "ELB". But... desperate times call for desperate measures with a last minute cancellation and things of that nature. And to tell the truth, I actually had the best time recording with him. As you can hear from this episode, we are a funny, silly, sufficiently well-informed duo on the mics. And we do a pretty kick ass job of giving you much ado about nothing or everything, depending on your perspective. But of course, I could be biased. You'll have to listen for yourself. The wine: Tree Of Life Pomegranate (one word: delicious)
Much Ado About Everything is now expanding into faux journalism as we interview Mystic. Mystic is a friend of the show who also has emerged as a major behind the scenes figure in American Politics. Currently he has taken on the job of running Ted Cruz's campaign. Previously he has been involved in such dealings as providing discreet email services to major US political figures like Hillary Clinton. You don't want to miss this interview!
Can a man and woman be platonic best friends? Why do people still get weird about interracial reliationships with black people? Is America still a racist country? Has House of Cards jumped the Shark? All this and much more on this week of Much Ado About Everything.
Join us this week for another episode of Much Ado About Everything. Our discussion this week starts with annoying laws regarding drinking and quickly evolves into a large discussion about politics today in USA. The discussion climaxes discussing Chris Christie's disgusting display of excitement over a Cowboys win. The conversation eventually de-evolves back to analysing a comedic failure of an old new years eve we spent. All that much more! Yes, we have mastered tangents...
It is Much Ado About Everything this week as Ginny and Charlie discuss Joss Whedon's take on Much Ado About Nothing and also confront their deepest Halloween fear: kids running wild and a couple's costume. We head down to Japp's for a flight of fall cocktails and then end with a jazzy take on Shakespeare's Sigh No More. Enjoy!
