Os bebês nos berços nunca choravam, não por jamais precisarem de algo, mas por terem aprendido que ninguém se importava o suficiente para responder. Meu coração doeu ao ler isso. Lembro-me de várias noites quando meus filhos eram pequenos. Minha esposa e eu dormíamos e acordávamos assustados com seus gritos. “Papai, estou doente!” “Mamãe, estou com medo!” Um de nós entrava em ação e ia até o quarto deles para fazer todo o possível para confortá-los e cuidar deles. Nosso amor por nossos filhos deu-lhes moti vos para pedirem nossa ajuda. Um número esmagador de salmos são clamores ou lamentos a Deus. O povo de Israel trouxe seus lamentos ao Senhor com base no relacionamento pessoal de Deus com eles. Este era o povo que Deus havia chamado de “meu filho mais velho” (ÊXODO 4:22) e eles estavam pedindo ao Pai que agisse. Esta sincera confiança é vista no Salmo 25: “Volta-te para mim e tem misericórdia, […] livra-me de toda a minha angústia!” (vv.16–17). As crianças que confiam no amor de um cuidador choram. A Prefeitura de São Ludgero lançou, neste mês de dezembro, a nova página “Adoção Responsável”, um espaço criado especialmente para divulgar cães e gatos que estão à espera de um lar. A iniciativa faz parte do Dezembro Verde, campanha que promove reflexão e mobilização contra o abandono e os maus-tratos de animais. A plataforma reúne fotos, características, histórico e informações de saúde dos animais acolhidos, facilitando o processo de aproximação entre possíveis adotantes e o município. Todos os pets passam por avaliação veterinária completa e recebem os cuidados necessários antes de serem disponibilizados para adoção. Segundo a Prefeitura, o objetivo é dar mais visibilidade aos animais que aguardam um lar definitivo, além de incentivar a população a refletir sobre a importância do cuidado responsável com os pets. Em entrevista ao Cruz de Malta Notícias desta quinta-feira (11), a secretária de Saúde de São Ludgero, Valdete Meurer Kuehlkamp, destacou que a iniciativa reforça o compromisso da gestão com o bem-estar animal, resultado que, segundo ela, “reflete diretamente na saúde da população”. A ação representa mais um passo do município na promoção da proteção animal e na conscientização sobre adoção responsável.

Doṣa means a fault, and adoṣa means no fault, and darśī means to see. So, what his name means is he's the one who doesn't see any faults in others. He only sees the good and tries to uplift all living entities. So Nitāi Adoṣa-darśī Gaurāṅga is a befitting name for these Deities because they've come here to Los Altos to perform their pastimes and to give everyone who comes here an opportunity to chant, dance, feast, and read the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam. And even if they're busy, or they're working, if they have a little bit of association with Nitāi Adoṣa-darśī Gaurāṅga, they'll become transcendentalized and begin to take to the process of devotional service. So this is a great day of celebration. We were feeling great happiness driving over here today, knowing that the Adoṣa-darśī Gaurāṅga would appear in your home. When I went in the back room to see them, they were so blissful.It reminded me of the song of kevala ānanda-kanda.
