Iz župnijske cerkve svetega Nikolaja v Litiji na šesto velikonočno nedeljo neposredno prenašamo sveto mašo, pri kateri sodelujejo tamkajšnji verniki. Mašuje župnik Marko Mrlak, poje pa združeni otroški in ženski Nikolajev zbor, pod vodstvom Klavdije Zore in Klavdije Zupančič, ob orgelski spremljavi Ivana Fojkarja.

We spoke with End of Life Nurse Educator Olga Nikolajev about the role of an End of Life Doula in long-term care, and how they contribute to quality end-of-life care.Olga Nikolajev is an end of life nurse educator with over 25 years of professional experience as a registered nurse in various healthcare settings, including hospice palliative care. She facilitates online courses through Centennial College, as well as the End of Life Doula course through Douglas College. She's also the founder and director of the Death Doula Ontario Network. Večina ukrajinskih beguncev je šele v teh dneh začela dobivati prve odločbe o denarni pomoči. Nekateri so pribežali v Slovenijo že ob začetku vojne. Od takrat je minilo tri mesece in v tem času so živeli v veliki stiski, saj so bili odvisni od pomoči sorodnikov, humanitarnih delavcev ali dobrih ljudi. Tako je bilo tudi s Svetlano, ki je na Goriško pribežala iz mesta Nikolajev v Ukrajini. Olga is a death educator, certified in Thanatology, the study of death, dying, loss and bereavement. She is the founder and director of DyingMatters.ca and provides educational presentations and workshops on death, dying, loss and bereavement. She is one of the founding faculty members of the BEyond Yonder Virtual School for Death Midwifery in Canada. Olga has over 20 years of experience in health care, serving as a regional Hospice Palliative Care Planner, community palliative care nurse and healthcare educator. Her educational history includes a bachelor degree in Anthropology and Psychology, a Master’s degree in Religion and Culture, and an interdisciplinary certificate in palliative care. As a death educator Olga continues to gain knowledge in the field of spiritual care, death, dying and living.
