Nicodemus was a religious leader, but wasn't understanding what God was trying to tell him. Those of us who know Jesus as our savior, know that religion has nothing to do with it. Nicodemus came to Jesus by night because he was afraid to be seen with him. He acknowledged that Jesus was from God, called him a Rabbi and a teacher. He knew that Jesus was a good teacher. We were born sinners, we need to be born again, accepting Jesus as our savior. Repenting of our sins and asking Him in our hearts.

We read an account from the bible about Jesus overthrowing the tables in the temple. These are not bible stories, they are scriptural accounts, they actually happened. Jesus stated that His father's house should be known as a house of prayer. We need to pray in the last times! In this time in history, we're living out prophecy. The government is trying to do away with any controversial issues that are coming up. The Bible contains the truth! These are controversial issues. There are those who do not want to embrace truth. You are either embracing truth or falsehood, that's it. If you have your own truth, and it goes against the truth, then you are embracing falsehood.

Jesus turning water into wine at the marriage, was a public miracle. It was the "beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee" (John 2:11). When Jesus said "Woman" to His mother, it was not a form of disrespect, like the tone would be interpreted now. God works through emptiness and obedience. How much success do we find when we're still relying on self. CS Lewis said, the only way to fill the God shaped hole is with God (paraphrase). Once you have Jesus, you don't need anything else to fill that hole.

All Christians are called and given the capabilities to be evangelist. He created us to use us to draw people to Himself. God has blessed us with an opportunity to be used of Him, like He used Christ in His humanity. Salvation is God the Father's work. A prophet represents God as He speaks to mankind. He also represents mankind as he speaks to God on their behalf. We need to bring the hand of God and mankind together. That is the ministry of reconciliation. He gave us the word of reconciliation ... THE BIBLE! We are called, capable, and commissioned to evangelize.

Regardless what the current culture leads us to believe, we need mothers and fathers working side by side. We've reached a point in this country where it's a perilous thing to raise up a family. The devils attacks are everywhere. Where a family is trying to raise their children for the Lord, the devil's attacks are the hardest. Even if the family is not living for the Lord, the devil still wants to get his talons in them and tear them apart. God's desire is for each of us to know Him as savior and Lord.

Moses waited 6 days to hear from God. Then was there for forty days and forty nights. Kids now a days live in a microwave generation. They're used to things coming quickly or not having to wait very long. The wickedness of one man caused the destruction of all Israel. Pharaoh himself. God always makes a way where there's a hard place. All of the men saw God's miracles. They saw God part the waters. They saw themselves going across the sea on dry land. They saw God drown the army behind them. They immediately started complaining. Isn't that just like us? We see answers from God, we are protected and saved, and then the next time we just start complaining again. God doesn't bring you places to die, He brings you there to rely on Him. God is always good. God is never wrong.

Prophecy is important. It's not only our knowing what's on its way and God's plan for us, but the most wonderful thing is knowing that God has a plan for us! Before we were even born, each of us had our picture hanging on God's wall. He chose us from before the beginning of time. We have a wonderful God. On two occasions, Jesus said that John the Baptist was Elijah. But John denied being Elijah. Jesus is never incorrect. The word of God does not contradict itself. So there has to be an answer on why this happened. The word of God is not in error. The God of the word of God is not in error. The truth was to be found in the hearts of the hearers. Elijah is one of two people in the Bible that did not die. They were looking for Elijah. They knew the prophet had to come before the Messiah did. Prophesies have an ultimate fulfillment and an immediate fulfillment. Watch for Jesus. He's coming quickly and He's coming soon!

Jesus is the word of God. He is the fulfillment. He is everything that Moses wrote about in the Old Testament. Have you been through a dark time? It's during those dark times that you really come to appreciate the Light. We are living in a fallen world, it's a wonderful world because it's His creation, but we do live in a fallen world where the light is not shining like it should. God is not looking for part time Christians. We need to partake in Him full time. We have an adversary, the devil. He is trying to blind the eyes of folks so that the light of the gospel doesn't reach folks.

The purpose of the author, John, is that we might believe. Believing is only one piece of the puzzle. The Bible says that even the devils fear and tremble because they believe. In order to believe in Him, we first must know that He is real. He's not one that someone just decided to write about. John wrote many things so that we may believe. He was our eye witness. God had you on His heart before the beginning. The bible is just what God wanted, all that God wanted, and only what God wanted. The Bible has been preserved through shed blood, through wars, through acts of providence that man knows nothing about. It's been preserved and maintained through centuries. Don't trust your heart! It's influenced by your old sin nature. The more we're into the word, the less the World is into us.

The entire war for the souls of mankind was won on the cross of Calvary. When we repent of sin, and give ourselves to Him, we are in Him, and are made the righteousness of God. The stone was not rolled away to let Jesus out, it was rolled away to let people see that Jesus was not there anymore! God worked at the trinity all throughout the old testament as well as the new. If you're in Him, you were resurrected with Him!! When Jesus rose, it made it possible for us to arise with Him. The final cry from the cross, was, "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit." Then He gave up the ghost.

The final words someone shares at their passing, represents who that person was as a person and what they did. We are sinners by choice and habit yet God loves us enough that He sent His son to die for us on the cross. Finally, Jesus said from the cross, "It is finished." and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost. We cannot provide for our own salvation, we cannot justify ourselves. We need Jesus to fight this battle for us. We are desperately dependent on Jesus to pay the debt for us. It is by His mercy that He saves us. If we were the only person on earth that had sinner, Christ would still have come down and died for us.

Jesus could have called ten thousand angels but He chose to stay on the cross. We commonly, and for great reason, call Jesus the Great Physician. Jesus came to reveal our sin to us. So that something can be done. So the holy spirit of God can work within us that we can be righteous with Him. The 5th saying from the cross was, "I thirst." In this saying, Jesus was expressing His need. Jesus came and gave us this other comforter with a certain set of duties (Holy Spirit). He comforts us, He brings the word of God to memories, He guides us in walking how Jesus walked, and having a fellowship with God that is not interrupted. He calls attention only to Jesus, who calls attention to God the father. Anything we ask for, in faith, for the purpose of God being glorified, will be granted.

The third saying from the cross is found in John 19:26-27, "Woman, behold thy son!" and then, "Behold thy mother!" Another saying that was selfless. John referred to himself as the disciple whom Jesus loved. We can refer to ourselves as that as well. "He treats me best, I often say, but all God's children feel that way." Jesus wasn't being disrespectful of His mother when He called her woman. It was a term being close to the term ma'am. Jesus lived His life for the sake of the family. It is God's desire that we become members of the family. God is not the father of everyone, He is the creator of everyone. We are not His children until we are adopted through salvation. Satan will do things to thwart your relationship with God. The family is under attack and people are attempting to redefine family. God wants to bless the families. God created the very first family, Adam and Eve.

We have to know about our sins to be able to say the same thing that God does about our sins. Malefactor means mad or wicked. The thief hanging next Jesus, acknowledged that He is Lord. In order to get saved, you have to understand your sin. Not only did the thief recognize that Jesus is Lord, he also acknowledges his own sins. God knows and sees everything. He sees all and He knows all. We are not to walk after the flesh anymore but after the spirit.

The Kingdoms of this world belong to the devil. Soon God will take over. Who needs the armor of God? All of God's gladiators regardless of their age. We all receive our spiritual armor the moment we get saved. The enemy is after our young children, big time. We have to teach them how to put on and use the armor of God. If we didn't need the armor, God wouldn't have given it to us. What is the armor of God? Although it's pictured as physical, but it's spiritual. It pictures the characteristics of Jesus Christ. If you want to see the righteousness of God, you have to look at Christ. Jesus is our righteousness. We can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. It all begins and ends with Him. If you don't have the shield of faith on, some of satan's darts are going to hit you, blindside you, and wound you. When you least expect it. If you don't put the armor on, you're already defeated. BIBLE: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. Christianity is not a playground, it's a battleground.

Things that God spoke into existence, is in higher and higher order. In spite of the fact that we have sinned against Him, and hated Him, the more His love for us is magnified and how intricate that is. The only way to see that love is to recognize our sin. We can be completely immersed in His love. There is no way to describe the expanse of His love for us. Jesus was in His death, exactly how He was in His life. Before time began, Jesus knew that all this was going to happen. When He came, He came in the form of an infant. He confined Himself to the body of an infant. Someone had to change the diapers of the one who spoke everything into being! The first cry from the cross was, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do."

Our expectations are not going to be fulfilled every time. When we have a temptation to walk up to someone and say, "If you only knew how angry or how much you frustrate me." ... what we really should be said, "Oh do you show me how self centered I am." What we're doing is plugging into them and that shouldn't be our source of power. We have wonder working power, we should plug into Him. He is the one that does meet our every expectation. Jesus has drawn a line that separates THE Shepherd from bad shepherds. The pastor of a church is an under-shepherd. Jesus is the door of the sheep. Anyone can come in and say some pleasant words and make people happy. But the under-shepherd has to be able to lead them to the door. He needs to point us to what the good shepherd said. Hebrews 13 gives the explanation of pastoral expectations for both the church and the pastor. God is the shepherd, He is the good shepherd, and the pastor is the under-shepherd. The pastor is held to a higher level of accountability. The word of God is our final authority and what we live by.

Paul was such an ardent preacher of the gospel, nothing was stopping him. This was a special time in history where the Greeks were invited to become a part of the vine. The will of God is not conducted using the means and methods of our advisory. God is using us turn the world back upright but we will be accused of turning it upside down. Their superstition made them follow blindly any god that they could. They had left someone out, so they made him a place. The Bible is the owner's manual for us. The Bible: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. We are not down here to make it a comfortable place for Christians to live. We want to make sure everyone can go to Heaven with us. They were doing all they could because they could sense that they were missing something. They didn't know He had set them in space. God has always had a plan for us. As a nation but also as individuals. He knows exactly how the devil is going to speak to you. The preacher was ready to tell of His grace.

There was a great woman, which we can assumed she was wealthy. She chose to bless the man of God. They built him a prophets chamber. A place where he had to be at home after his long journeys. She wasn't doing this for anything for herself, she was truly doing this for God. She did, however, desire a child. Elisha told her she would have one, and she did have a son. We see first the carnality of the servant. There was something going on that shouldn't have been. If we are going to live for the glory of God, the devil is not going to sit back and let that happen. In faith in Him, ultimately, it shall be well. In the end, it will be well, and if it's not well, then it's not the end yet. Civility of the sent. There was no civility. Doing the work of God is first and foremost, paramount. Even if you end up offending someone with the truth. We speak the truth in love. We are to love our enemies as ourselves. People need to know that if they were to die without Christ, they will spend eternity separated from them. The certainty of the salvation. Are we giving our loved ones who are dead in their sins, God's word.

Our sin against God was/is more than a minor ding in a car. Yet, our sins which are many are all washed away, we are safe in the Lord. There were three entities that knew that David had to be where he would fight Goliath. God was the first one. The second one was Jesse, David's father, and the third one was David. It was very important that David knew where he was supposed to be. It was good for his confidence in the Lord. Each of us has a specific place for us to be, chosen by God. God has called for you and set you apart as holy and separate for a specific calling for God. He will work success and victory for us and through us. There were also three entities that thought that David did not belong there. The first one was the bully, who before him was born, his big brother. The second individual was King Saul. Thirdly, the giant who came to mock and to scorn.

Ebenezer is a stone of testimony. It was an alter set up to honor God because God had miraculously provided a victory. You can set up an Ebenezer every time you get a victory through God. Whenever you get to a point of doubt, it's good to look back at the Ebenezer that you have raised. If you were on trial for the crime of being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you? Not circumstantial evidence. That will be burned away. You cannot determine whether or not you're saved by circumstantial evidence. How can you know then? We have the witness of scripture. Scripture says if you're saved, you remember having it happen. There is a process that God brings each person through where their salvation is concerned. We can't justify ourselves but we have to be justified. It's given to us. How do you lose your salvation? YOU CAN'T! We are powerless. Not an active pursuit, it's a passive proposition. Part of God bringing us to justification, is for God to show us that we're weak. There is nothing we can do to merit our salvation, we have to give up and give it to Him. There is pain necessary for salvation. When the holy spirit of God, begins to deal with someone regarding their personal sin, then there is a Godly sorrow. It's the emotional aspect of being convicted of their sin. It's a gift of grace. He's showing us our sin against Him, so we can repent of it and be forgiven and be justified. This is for His glory. When we have this broken heart, it leads to change. God will not revoke your salvation.

There is a way to God that makes no sense at all to man. When we're living carnally, the way of God seems wrong to a man. The number 3 is the number of completion, the number 5 is the number of grace, the number 8 is new beginnings, the number 7 is perfection, the number 6 is the number of man. The number 666 is the complete imperfection. Naaman was a great man, he was a hero. His health was severely lacking, he was a leper. He was humble. God had brought him many victories. God is constantly giving us His message. He doesn't make the path for us to follow a mystery. Naaman wanted his need met, on his own terms. Naaman wanted to be a VIP (very important person) but he was an SRB (spoiled rotten brat). We are like Naaman. We expect God to meet our needs the way we want. The only one that deserves us to come to Him unto His terms, is the one who humbled Himself and came to us. When God says seven, six won't do.
Jesus was God in bodily form. He was sinless but tempted. Because He was sinless, He could go to the cross for us. A lot of horrible things happened on the cross, but the worst was when He was separated from the Father. In hell there is no more possibility of a fellowship with almighty God. The presence of God is there in hell, but no one there can have fellowship with Him. As we go from 2020 to 2021, we are going to be running a race. In order to do this, we need to unwind. We have a crown of righteousness that we will cast at His feet. God will give us the ability we need to do what He needs us to do. The purpose of our race, is that this world needs Him! Satan will do everything in his power to stifle us. He will give us things that are seemingly good and use that to discourage us.

God is the chosen one. He fulfilled all the prophecy. Begotten, not created. It's not the manger that makes Christmas special, it's the sent one that makes the manger special. It wasn't the location that was the ultimate importance, it's the incarnation. God took His plan of redemption for us, He chose us in His son before the foundation of the world. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus is unique. He amazed people when He preached because He preached with authority. Well who can have more authority on the Word of God than the Word of God! It's impossible for God to against His own will and word. Before time ever began, each and everyone in Him was a tree planted by the rivers of water. He had plans for you. God has never said oops. He's never had to call an emergency session of the trinity. He's never made a mistake. He adopts us. It's the only way we can come into the family of God. God is not tempted and does not tempt. But every man is tempted, which is why Jesus was tempted. He came to us in humility and was fashioned as a man.

The entire world was wicked as it was when Noah built the ark. God flooded the world because there was no room for Him in it. For 400 years, between the Old Testament and the New, there was silence from God. They didn't hear anything. They went on with their own wicked worldly devices. There were only a few for which there was room for God. Those who were looking for Him, were laying in solemn stillness. We, in the year 2020, are also in solemn stillness waiting for Jesus to come. We need to be on our knees to hear a message from the one the angels spoke about. When Joseph and Mary came to Bethlehem, there was no room for them. Not in an inn, or even perhaps with family, Joseph was from Bethlehem, he could have had some family there. In the stable, there was room that Christmas. There was no room in the inn but praise God that He was born in a stable and placed in a manger. It's easier to call yourself a sinner and not a worm. I could look at myself the way the devil looks at me and it would cause my "self-esteem" to go low or you could build yourself up from the same view. Both are dangerous. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Salvation is the forgiveness of sin. Jesus came to where there was no room for Him. If He had been born into a rich family, His ministry wouldn't have been the same. He wasn't even welcome to the home of His own family. He can understand everyone in the world, He is familiar with all of our troubles. The message of Jesus, is fear not. His message is come unto to me. Today is the day of salvation. Is there room for Him this Christmas?
