#295 Små företags syn på cybersäkerhet

Bli säker-podden

Play Episode Listen Later Apr 11, 2025 38:04

NASAs plan to fire three missiles at the sun and moon during the April 8 eclipse is not merely in synch with Egyptian mythology, considering they officially named the program Apep after the serpent ouroboros, but is itself an ancient ritual. Apep-Apophis is the personification of a solar eclipse and to maintain order during this chaotic moment, rituals against the serpent were carried out in support of the sun god. To protect RA and his boat-barge-chariot, common people and priests  tried to untangle the sun from the binding of Apep, or Apophis, a story similar to Osiris and his chest being grabbed by a tamarisk tree. In one story a spear or projectile pierces the snake and saved the sun. It won't be lost on some the relationship that a bound barge shares with recent ship incidents, including two that struck bridge pillars, which themselves can certainly be related to supports for the sky too. When the pillars collapse the night falls, and when Francis Scott Key falls so too does the Star Spangled Banner. Right before the boat incidents, on March 25, the Worm Moon was also in the sky. Alternatively called Crow Moon, a portent of bad luck, the "worm" has always symbolized serpents and dragons. And 2024 is the year of the dragon. Meanwhile, CERN has been under test with experiments slated for April 8 and 10, among other dates. CERNs spokesperson-god is shiva, the necessary evil or destroyer, another name for Apep-Apophis and Saturn. Strangely, NASA  just announced a snake robot they plan to send on a mission to one of Saturn's moons. As millions watch the eclipse, the Devil Comet will also be seen streaking across the sky. It is not only the beginning of April, the burning season, but a time of omens and portents, the fall of flags, countries, kings, and civilizations. When factoring in tv shows like "3 Body Problem," the synchronicity gets even stranger.-FREE ARCHIVE & RSS: https://www.spreaker.com/show/the-secret-teachingsTwitter: https://twitter.com/TST___RadioFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/thesecretteachingsWEBSITE (BOOKS, RESUBSCRIBE for early show access): http://thesecretteachings.infoPaypal: rdgable@yahoo.comCashApp: $rdgableBuy Me a Coffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/tstradioSUBSCRIBE TO NETWORK: http://aftermath.mediaEMAIL: rdgable@yahoo.com / TSTRadio@protonmail.com

Dr. Laszlo Boros reviews evidence for health impacts of deuterium

The Rational View podcast with Dr. Al Scott

Play Episode Listen Later Mar 2, 2024 59:11

In this episode I'm digging deeper into the purported health effects of deuterium, a stable isotope of hydrogen. Deuterium has twice the mass of hydrogen, and it exists naturally in water.  A hydrogen atom in H2O is replaced by deuterium in about 150 out of 1 million atoms. This trace compound interacts chemically as hydrogen, but because of its weight it has different dynamics. Why is this an issue? Excess deuterium has been found to impact cell division.. When it gets incorporated into proteins in the body it can mess with their functionality. Yet at such low concentrations it seems like it wouldn't be a significant issue. Let's get to the bottom of this. Dr. Laszlo Boros is a retired Professor of Pediatrics at the UCLA School of Medicine, the Co-Director of the Stable Isotope Research Laboratory at the Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovations and Investigator at the Clinical and Translational Research Institute at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He is the inventor of the Human Deutenome Project in order to map the distribution of deuterium in the human body with structural and functional interpretations as it relates to disease and health. Born and educated in Hungary, his medical background includes a focus on pancreatic cancer and stable isotope technologies to study diabetes and cancer cell growth in vitro. He researches the influence of metabolic processes and disorders on aggressive cancers and vitamin transport. He is an internationally recognized expert of metabolic water biochemistry as well as deuterium mediated kinetic isotopic effects in health and disease. His most recent studies target 'deupletion' and 'deuposition' related mechanisms as the result of intra-cellular hydrophobic lipid membrane nanoconfinements via the Quantum Destabilization of Protons in metabolic water. https://www.laszlogboros.com/_files/ugd/aeaa87_81191bea9f9643a7b40ed99f0052394d.pdf Support The Rational View at https://patron.podbean.com/TheRationalView This was an interesting discussion. [Extract] Trust the Protons to leave chemical impurities out of your Battery-Grade Lithium! - Saad Dara - Mangrove Lithiu

Saad Dara is the CEO and Founder of Mangrove Lithium. Mangrove Lithium develops an innovative approach to Lithium Refining which is using electrochemical processes to reach battery grade from diverse raw sources.  The decarbonization of our World oftentimes resembles a set of Russian Dolls. First, we needed electric cars, so the manufacturers started shifting their internal combustion lines to EV ones. Then, batteries were on the critical path, so the World frantically built Gigafactories. As a result, Lithium became the bottleneck, and over the next decade, we'll try to catch up. But in doing so, we may well bump into the next problem: missing chemicals. Don't roll your eyes too fast: I do know that Soda Ash, for instance, is pretty commonplace and shouldn't be an issue. Except if you are in the middle of the high Andes, and especially on the Argentinan side, where dozens of junior lithium companies are currently cutting their teeth.  If you don't have enough Soda Ash, you can't refine your Lithium Chloride to Carbonate, and why is that a problem, well, that means you have to truck large volumes of concentrated brines away, and reach a place where chemicals are available. Not a big deal? Well, except if you compound in the absence of paved roads around most of the Salars that will enter into production in the next years, or simply the fact that bringing a truck up to an altitude of over 4'000 meters is not that easy.  While I was up in Olaroz, Cachi, and Jama, I crossed two different trucks in two different places that had rolled over onto the side of the road. So again, I'd say, not a piece of cake. But if evaporation ponds are so efficient in the high Andes, it's, of course, thanks to widely available solar energy. Something energy companies start to leverage by installing solar farms. So what if it were possible to use that electrical energy right where it's produced, to refine the concentrated brines that evaporation ponds output into battery-grade carbonate or hydroxide?  Well, some companies have started to explore that electrochemical road, and you would have guessed, that's where Mangrove Lithium is focusing.  Their technology was born as a water treatment and desalination play, yet the ideal product-market fit seems to rather be in the lithium industry - once again, a proof of the high porosity between those two worlds.  Let me avoid spoiling you all of my conversation with Saad Dara, but what I can already tell you is that we had good fun recording, I hope you'll enjoy it as well, if you do, please remember to take that episode and share it with a friend, a colleague, your boss or your team, wherever you're listening or watching that, make sure to like and subscribe, and I'll meet you on the other side! ➡️ Check out the entire article on how Mangrove Lithium is the Jewel in Bill Gates' crown on the (don't) Waste Water website!

Vocation vs Bull**** Jobs

Welcome to season 5 of the Queen of the Sciences podcast! Vocation is a topic near and dear to me and Dad, both as a central theological focus of the Lutheran Reformation and also because we just plain take a lot of pleasure in our work. But David Graeber's astonishing book Bullshit Jobs came as a serious wake-up call to us both. In this episode, we review Graeber's case for the precipitous shift from meaningful to meaningless and even actively harmful paid work in the world today, and what it means for an ongoing commitment to the doctrine of vocation. Notes: 1. Graeber, Bullshit Jobs 2. The short story "Gold" in my collection Protons and Fleurons is a skewed look at vocation, but not as skewed as Graeber's. 3. The classic study of Luther on vocation is Gustav Wingren's appropriately titled Luther on Vocation 4. 00:47 Evidence of a proton's charmFor decades, scientists have debated whether protons have ‘intrinsic charm', meaning they contain elementary particles known as charm quarks. Now, using machine learning to comb through huge amounts of experimental data, a team have shown evidence that the charm quark can be found within a proton, which may have important ramifications in the search for new physics.Research article: The NNPDF CollaborationNews and Views: Evidence at last that the proton has intrinsic charm11:26 Research HighlightsHow sea sponges ‘sneeze' to clean their filters, and why bonobos' infantile behaviour helps them receive consolation after conflict.Research Highlight: How a sponge ‘sneezes' mucus: against the flowResearch Highlight: Bonobo apes pout and throw tantrums — and gain sympathy13:52 Briefing ChatWe discuss some highlights from the Nature Briefing.
