This Montreal bornCanadian with Jamaican Roots has graced comedy clubs across the country.A unique blend of her Canadian & West Indian Heritage in her piercingly comical style and likeable approach has earned her a spot on last year’s 2019 SiriusXM Top Comic competition. She’s also appeared at Just For Laughs Festival Montreal, live Taping for Kevin Hart LOL Network, Best of Absolute Comedy at Toronto’s annual comedy festival, JFL42, and most recently, Keesha’s performed at the official pre-show for the “100% Fresher Tour” with Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider. Brownie, founded and produced her own comedy series in hometown Brampton, entitled Jokers Corner. She also lent a hand in co-producing Canada’s first All Black Canadian Comedy Tour, The Underground Comedy Railroad Tour and she headlined Kenny Robinson’s Nubian Disciples All-Black Comedy Revue, a monthly showcase of Black comics at Yuk-Yuks in Toronto. Faisal Butt joins Jimmer Lowe for an Episode of Q’d Up. Faisal Butt is sure some people find him funny but name is hilarious and others find . It’s probably why started doing stand up. He regularly tours across the country and had filmed his first comedy special for the ichannel. In 2014 he was the winner of the Sirius XM "Top Comic" and then featured in the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal as well as a solo show during JFL42 inToronto. He was also in the Bordertown and Oddball comedy festivals and recently taped an episode for “The Debaters” on CBC. He also has a beard.

Along with receiving the coveted Top Comic title, Marostica took home the grand prize of $25,000; guaranteed performances at four Just For Laughs Festivals: Just For Laughs Sydney (Australia), JFL42 (Toronto), JFL NorthWest (Vancouver), and Montreal’s Just for Laughs Festival; as well as a spot in a Just For Laughs television special set to air in the 2019/2020 broadcast season. It was a great converation about comedy, creating spaces and the process of taking part in SiriusXM's Top Comic competition (and the plus side of getting to stay in a swanky hotel).
