In the guys' journey through Parallel Quest, they have not ventured into the realm of romance at this point in the podcast's life. While Cody and Zach are more interested in adventure and high concept storytelling, there is something to be said about the tried and true success of the romantic comedy. Romcoms are oftentimes predictable with overly recycled plotlines and tropes, but continue on in spite of their flaws, mainly because of the date night potential. However, every once in a while, we encounter a romantic comedy that transcends expectation, entering into a different tier of quality. 10 Things I Hate about You is one such film. A mix of Shakespearean influence with a touch of hyperbolic high school tropes, and topped off with a lot of good laughs throughout, this movie is one that can be enjoyed by people of many different tastes and generations. While Cody is concerned about his "personal brand", Sebastien is full of jokes on this special episode of the podcast where both co-hosts share what's on their desks and their work setup in general.

While Cody was at SEMA, Matt and Jose took over the studio and recorded an episode without any adult supervision. They go through Cody's underwear drawer, talk about the new Icon suspension on Jose's Land Cruiser, and then they go off the rails. While Cody continues to protest the CGM podcast co-hosting duties, Mel and Brendan sit down with Jed. He discusses Gears of War 4 and Yo-Kai Watch 2. Mel saw Warcraft and Brendan leads the gang in a latest gaming news discussion. In a special interview segment, Lisa chats with Philippe Morin from Red Barrels about Outlast 2 from X16 in Toronto.
On Alex Barry’s last episode, the boys dissect the nature and origins of the negative reactions they’ve received. Butthurt. A word bandied about in such a casual manner, one tends to overlook its actual meaning. Its true nature. As Alex Barry says farewell to The Other Side, he and Cody can think of no more fitting a subject for his final podcast than an examination into the childish reactions their views, and the manner in which they’ve expressed them, have garnered from some people. From accusations of trolling, to outright temper tantrums, Cody and Alex (though mostly Cody) have evoked a sizable amount of ire from a substantial amount of people within the anime fandom. While Cody couldn’t be happier, he and Alex take it upon themselves to ask the burning question; why? Where does this unhealthy, childish rage come from?
While Cody is away, Brian finally has someone to talk to about cars, sport games, and everything else in between. With special guest Julian.
