Mi-avril, il a été coupé par des colons israéliens qui ont installé des barbelés. Le directeur fait un dessin pour expliquer la situation. « Voyez, là, il y a des caravanes sur le côté de la route. Elles coupent le petit chemin ici qui permettait aux élèves de prendre un raccourci pour se rendre à l'école, montre-t-il. Les élèves doivent désormais emprunter la route, plus longue et plus dangereuse car elle passe devant les caravanes des colons. » Lorsque le passage a été bloqué, Fahad, 17 ans, était là. « Les colons nous ont attaqués sur la route, ils se sont regroupés contre nous en nous menaçant avec des armes et en jetant sur nous des grenades assourdissantes et du gaz lacrymogène, témoigne-t-il. Ils étaient effrayés, horrifiés, terrifiés, dirais-je, parce que c'est la première fois que cela leur arrive, surtout sur le chemin de l'école. » Pendant l'entretien, Tareq jette des regards inquiets vers une barrière en métal jaune qui sépare le village de la colonie israélienne de Carmel, illégale au regard du droit international, qui se trouve à 50 mètres de l'autre côté de la rue. « Le colon qui est derrière la barrière, dans le Land Cruiser, c'est un colon violent qui a attaqué le village à plusieurs reprises, pointe-t-il. Pendant que nous parlons, il y a un véhicule de la police des frontières. Est-ce qu'on peut attendre de voir ce qui va se passer avec eux ? Je n'ai pas peur. Je suis inquiet. Les choses peuvent changer rapidement ici. Su gran hito técnico es la distribución por cascada de piñones; no hay correas ni cadenas que cambiar, lo que elimina el mantenimiento crítico. Volkswagen 1.9 TDI (AFN/AVG) (1991-2010): El motor que redefinió el diésel. Con inyección directa y bloque de fundición, demostró en el sector del taxi que superar el millón de kilómetros era una meta alcanzable. Fiat 1.9 JTD (8 válvulas) (1997-2012): El pionero del Common Rail. Su culata de 8 válvulas es térmicamente más estable que las versiones modernas, ofreciendo una fiabilidad que le permitió sobrevivir en marcas como Opel, Saab o Alfa Romeo. Toyota 1HD-FTE (1998-2007): Un bloque de seis cilindros y 4.2 litros con componentes sobredimensionados. Es una mecánica de camión adaptada al Land Cruiser, capaz de entregar un par motor inmenso con un desgaste mínimo. PSA 2.0 HDi (DW10) (1998-2015): La cima de Peugeot y Citroën antes de la complejidad de los sistemas anticontaminación modernos. Desde la necesidad más básica de movilidad hasta el consumo impulsivo, hoy recorremos las historias de aquellos vehículos que agotaron la paciencia de generaciones enteras. La estafa del sueño alemán: El KdF-Wagen (1938) Antes de que el mundo lo conociera como el Volkswagen Escarabajo, nació como el KdF-Wagen. El gobierno nazi ideó un sistema de ahorro mediante el cual los obreros pegaban sellos de 5 marcos en una cartilla semanal. La promesa era sencilla: al completar el pago de 990 marcos, recibirían su vehículo. Utilidad social frente al dinero: Citroën 2CV (1948) Tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial, Francia necesitaba moverse. El Citroën 2CV, despreciado inicialmente por la prensa, se convirtió en un éxito absoluto entre la población rural. La lista de espera alcanzó los seis años, pero lo fascinante fue el criterio de entrega. Pierre-Jules Boulanger, director de Citroën, instauró una selección ética: se dio prioridad absoluta a parteras, veterinarios, médicos rurales y agricultores. El Rastrojero: Orgullo e ingenio argentino (1952) En Argentina, la falta de divisas para importar vehículos llevó a la creación del Rastrojero. Fabricado por la estatal IAME utilizando motores de tractores sobrantes de Estados Unidos, este vehículo se convirtió en el símbolo del trabajo en la Pampa. Cars are often more expensive dollar-for-dollar than in richer countries, fuel cost are high and many NGOs hire drivers, all while public transport is dirt cheap.
