The A Walk With Friends podcast is an incredible source of peace and happiness for me. Marcela's voice is so soothing and welcoming, and I feel instantly at ease when I listen to her podcasts. It is evident that she puts a lot of time and effort into each episode, which makes them even more special. I find myself listening to this podcast daily because it brings such joy to my day. Marcela's unique storytelling approach to reading through the Bible is captivating and you won't be disappointed when you listen.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is how it blesses not only me but also my family. My young daughters absolutely love listening to Marcela as she brings the Word of God to life. The testimonies and guest speakers on the podcast always speak directly to my heart, leaving a lasting impact. I am grateful for the vulnerability shared by Marcela in her testimony, as it keeps Jesus in the world and encourages conversations about Him. This podcast ministers to my soul and I happily share it with everyone I love because I truly believe everyone needs to hear it.
Another great aspect of this podcast is that it feels like having a good friend by your side. Marcela discusses both the beautiful parts of life and the nitty-gritty aspects, making for incredibly relatable content. Whether you're driving or just hanging out, this podcast is perfect for any occasion. Marcela's genuine love for Jesus shines through in every episode, making her not only someone you can chat with but also someone who is always willing to pray with you. It truly is the best podcast out there.
While it's difficult to find any negatives about this podcast, one minor downside could be that there are occasional moments where certain topics may not resonate with every listener. However, considering the wide variety of content covered in each episode, this can easily be overlooked.
In conclusion, The A Walk With Friends podcast is a wonderful source of encouragement, laughter, and perspective. It has immensely blessed my life, and I hope that when others listen to it, it brings the same blessings to them. Marcela is an amazing person who loves Jesus more than anything and her passion shines through in every episode. This podcast is truly a gem and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking inspiration and spiritual nourishment.

Hi there friends, on today's episode we continue daily reading through the book of Psalms chapter 6. Please share the podcast with your friends and loved ones that you know could be blessed by this audio bible reading. @AWalkWithFriends Psalm Chapter 6O Lord, don't rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your rage. Have compassion on me, Lord, for I am weak. Heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony.I am sick at heart. How long, O Lord, until you restore me?Return, O Lord, and rescue me. Save me because of your unfailing love. For the dead do not remember you. Who can praise you from the grave?I am worn out from sobbing. All night I flood my bed with weeping, drenching it with my tears. My vision is blurred by grief; my eyes are worn out because of all my enemies.Go away, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my weeping. The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord will answer my prayer.May all my enemies be disgraced and terrified. May they suddenly turn back in shame.

Hello there, welcome to AWWF the podcast. On this episode we are reading the book of Psalms chapter 1 and 2. Join us daily in the month of January as we read through the entire book of 150 chapters. Did you know...- The Book of Psalms is sometimes called “Tehillim” which means “Book of Praises” or “Bible within the Bible” because it covers all the major themes of the Bible story.-Jesus Himself used more quotes from the book of Psalms than from any other book.- King David wrote approximately 73 of the 150 Psalms.- The key word in the Psalms is “praise” which appears 211 times- The word “Selah” appears 71 times throughout the Psalms. The most recognized meaning of the Hebrew word Selah is “forever.” It is often interpreted as an instruction calling for a break in the singing of the Psalm, or to pause and calmly think about what you have read; The Book of Psalms may aptly be summarized by 5 key Words:a) Praise: The Psalmist worships, extols, and with heart-felt gratitude, thanks the sovereign God of Israel for His Person, His Word, and His mighty works in regard to both creation and redemption;b) Prophecy: The Psalmist often writes of the coming Messiah, foretelling His zeal, suffering, death, resurrection, ascension, high priestly work, and coming millennial reign;c) Pain: The Psalmist describes in graphic fashion his personal doubts, fears, pain, and problems;d) Petition: The Psalmist offers up many requests, crying out for relief, forgiveness, reassurance, direction, protection and strength;e) Poetry: The Psalmist pens his words in poetic fashion meant to be sung.Info credited to https://psalm91.com/2020/08/10/incredible-facts-about-the-book-of-psalms/

Peter knows that his time on earth is coming to an end, and so he leaves the believers with important reminders that he tells that they will need to always remember. Peter shares about the Day of The Lord, the returning of Jesus Christ. One of my most favorite scriptures Peter wrote in this letter, "The Lord isn't really being slow about His promise, as some people think. No, He is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.Join me as we dive into Peters last letter. And as always we appreciate the support you give our podcast and youtube channel. The new believers in Thessalonica are facing severe persecution from jews, gentiles and the Romans surrounding them for their faith in the One true King, Jesus Christ. Paul encourages them to stand fast in the truth that they first received in the middle of this chaos. At this time some deceivers were rising up and telling the new believers false things about Jesus' return stirring up fear and trouble. As you can imagine this could have easily shaken up any new believer. So Paul writes in care, concern and passion to correct the mistakes, bring clarity and comfort to the new believers. Paul also mentions the GREAT APOSTASY and teaches about why the deceivers were wrong about Jesus' return. The return of Christ is not a trouble for believers, but a wonderful hope and comfort. Paul's second letter is a response to the reports that the persecution against the Thessalonian believers has intensified. Paul thanks God for their endurance and faith in the face of suffering and reminds the believers that there is a day of rest for them and all believers. However, the ultimate suffering will be for those who deny Jesus, who will be separated from him eternally when Jesus returns with his might angels, in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don't know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. Paul is writing the new believers, encouraging them in the faith and reminding them of God's call on their lives on how to live as they look forward to Jesus' return. To live set apart in a culture that at that time was facing rampant sexual immorality. To not live like the gentiles do but to live a sanctified life that honors God. Paul urges the believers to grow more and more in love and aspiration to lead a quiet life to be walk properly toward those who are outside of Christ, showing that they lack nothing. Paul also answers some questions the new believers have about the return of Christ.Follow along on instagram: @AWalkWithfriends
We continue in the Apostle Paul's epistle (letter) to the new believers in Thessolonica. Paul explains why he sent Timothy. Timothy a young follower of Christ, makes the journey to bring encouragement and comfort. Upon Timothy's return, Paul writes this letter and expresses how he longs to see them again.
Now in Rome, Paul flees persecution from the greek gentiles who worshipped pagan gods and the jews clinging to their traditional faith. Paul sends Timothy back to Thessolonica to check on the believers there calling them the "eklessia' in chapter one. In Paul's love and concern for them Timothy goes to Thessolonica to find out how they are doing, what questions they have and to encourage them in their faith. As Timothy gets back to Paul with good report of the new converts in Thessolonica, Paul writes them a letter. We dive deep into context and history to better understand Paul's first epistle and find out. Thessalonians are letters written by Paul to new believers. How exciting to find out how Paul evangelized in the Roman republic. My prayer for my listeners is we become lovers of God's Word and study ourselves to be approved. Bonus guest episode with a dear friend, preacher, and brother. This conversation is full of raw honesty. I hope this encourages us all to have honest conversations at the table that so desperately need to be had in the body.
The disciples finally understand that Jesus knows everything. While they do not yet understand everything as Jesus reveals it to them, they believe. Knowing all they do, and seeing all they have, they cling to every word Jesus is speaking as the prophecy unravels before their eyes, of the Messiah. The disciples are grieving that Jesus is telling them He is leaving, but assures them that it is best He does, because if He doesn't, the Advocate won't come.
