    Ivy Insights

The Appointment Television podcast is a weekly audio-only show hosted by Andrew Cunningham, Kathryn VanArendonk, and Margaret Willison. These three friends met in college and their love for each other is evident in every episode. The podcast focuses on "Television You Want to Watch" and covers a wide range of shows, from the beloved to the obscure. I have been listening to this podcast for some time now and it has become one of my favorites.

One of the best aspects of The Appointment Television podcast is the friendship and camaraderie between the hosts. They truly feel like friends, which creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere for listeners. Their banter is playful and entertaining, and their genuine love for each other shines through in every episode. This dynamic makes the show feel like you're hanging out with friends, discussing your favorite TV shows.

Another great aspect of this podcast is the insightful commentary on television. The hosts provide thoughtful analysis and critique of various shows, often offering unique perspectives that make you see a show in a different light. Whether they love or hate a show, their commentary is always engaging and thought-provoking. Additionally, they introduce listeners to new shows they might not have considered watching before.

As for any drawbacks, it can be disappointing when an episode covers a show that you have no interest in or haven't seen. While the hosts' discussion can still be enjoyable, it's not as engaging if you're not familiar with the material being discussed. However, this is just a minor issue considering the vast range of topics covered by the podcast.

In conclusion, The Appointment Television podcast is a delightful listen for any TV lover. The hosts' friendship and humor make it feel like you're part of their conversations, while their insightful commentary provides fresh perspectives on various shows. I highly recommend giving this podcast a listen if you want to discover new TV shows or simply enjoy fun discussions about television with three wonderful hosts.
