Welcome to a summer full of volatility with the heat turned up before it even begins. The summer solstice arrive next Friday, followed by a Capricorn moon, bringing opposing energies for work and family life balance. Every year the pull of hot days perfect for naps reminds of a simpler time where reading books was a thing. Nostalgia hits extra hard this year as social dynamics butt head to head fueling feelings of division versus unity. Like teens learning how to navigate the social constructs of group interplay, bullies still want things their way- how all feuds began during the feudal times. I will update my pages through out the summer. Please subscribe and like. Enjoy summer's beauty without any of its underbelly. Until Autumn Equinox, be happy and loving. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jody-cirame/message

WitchLit is on a summer hiatus while we settle into our new WitchLit HQ and rather than leave a blank space in the feed, we're taking the old TV network approach and bringing you some summer reruns from our first two seasons. Today's rerelease is my conversation with Zoë Howe. We talked about her then new book Witchful Thinking. I would highly recommend her other books if you are at all into rock and roll biographies and history. She's written books about Stevie Nicks, The Jam, The Slits, Florence + the Machine, Poly Styrene, The Jesus and Mary Chain and a novel Shine on, Marquee Moon which was shortlisted for the Virginia Prize for Fiction. WitchLit is on a summer hiatus while we settle into our new WitchLit HQ and rather than leave a blank space in the feed, we're taking the old TV network approach and bringing you some summer reruns from our first two seasons. Today's rerelease is my conversation with Cory Thomas Hutcheson. Cory graciously— gamely?—agreed to be the first guest on WitchLit and was a huge resource for getting WitchLit off the ground. I'm also proud to announce that 1000Volt Press will be publishing his new book with his podcasting cohost Laine Fuller later this summer. Conjuring the Commonplace: A Guide to Everyday Enchantment & Junk Drawer Magic is a treasure trove of folklore and magic made from the mundane and we can't wait to get it into your hands. We're kicking off this podcast with original friend of the pod, Cory Thomas Hutcheson. Cory released the treasure trove of North American folk magic that is New World Witchery in April 2021 and has more work in the pipeline for 2022 and beyond.  Please support Black, indigenous, queer, trans and women-owned, and local independent bookstores. Half-Finished to Done Podcast with Cristina Roman, Life Coach for Procrastinating Business Owners

This summer, I'm taking some time away from the podcast.  I want to ensure that you've got all of your productivity needs met while we're on hiatus. In this episode, I'm going to give you a few resources to check out during the summer. Resource #1: Half-Finished to Done Podcast There are 49 episodes of the Half-Finished to Done Podcast, all focused on sustainable productivity for business owners.  These episodes will equip you to solve the mental, emotional, and logistical obstacles that are keeping you from sustainably, joyfully, and calmly finishing projects in your business. Resource #2: Pique Podcast The Pique Podcast was created before the Half-Finished to Done Podcast, and is still available for you to access. It has three seasons of content that covers more general life philosophies such as death and dying, diversity, equity and inclusion, financial questions to explore, and so much more.  To access these episodes, just scroll all the way back to the beginning  of the Half-Finished to Done Podcast episode list. Resource #3: Deep Work Guide If you want to master the skill of focusing on demand so that you can consistently get your best work done, I recommend getting the guide for How to Get Into a Deep Work State in 15 Minutes ($27). This step-by-step process is the antidote if you struggle to focus,  go down rabbit holes often, suffer from perfectionism, or get distracted easily.. Resource #4: 1:1 Coaching If you're interested in using the summer to master sustainable productivity with me, just click here to book a 45-minute consult with me. We'll figure out if it's a fit for us to work together 1:1 for 12+ weeks so that you can do more high-caliber work; experience more true rest; and have a full, rich life outside of your business. I look forward to coming back refreshed and ready to hit the ground running to bring you more valuable tools, strategies, and resources to take your projects from half-Finished to done. Happy summer! Hey friend! It has always been my goal to make sure every episode on this podcast is super valuable and helps grow your faith a little more with every listen. With the transition to summer schedules and family vacations, I find the necessary time needed to produce the show will be limited. So I'll be taking a brief break until mid to late August. In the meantime, join me on Instagram and Facebook @momsgrabcoffeee where I'll be posting some of the most inspirational clips from past episodes that will keep you encouraged throughout those beautiful, hot summer days.  I also want to leave you with encouragement today from Psalm 27:13 - "I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living."This verse is a beacon of hope, a reminder that in the midst of our hectic lives, whether we're juggling kids' summer activities or enjoying a well-deserved vacation, the Lord's goodness is ever-present. Take this summer as an opportunity to find joy and blessings in the everyday chaos. Continue to seek God's presence, even in the flurry of summer activities. And most importantly, hold onto the confidence that you will see His goodness, not someday in the distant future, but here and now, today. - The Joy Daily Planner: combined prayer journal + task planning notebook (https://bit.ly/JoyDailyPlanner) - Growing Closer to God Journal: strengthen your faith by tracking God's presence in your life (https://bit.ly/GodJournal) - IS THE SHOW HELPING YOU? We're coming to you today with a quick announcement - our minisodes will be going on hiatus for the summer! We'll be giving ourselves a little extra free time this season and plan to bring our minisodes back bigger and better than ever soon.  In the meantime, our main episodes will continue on their usual bi-weekly cadence to make sure that you all have what you need about genre fiction books and are sufficiently inspired for your summer beach reads.  As always, if you have ideas for themes or other ways we can help you all explore the wide world of books through this podcast, you can submit them to us via our online form at heartsanddaggerspod.com
