THIS IS THE WORD OF GOD Mark 1:29-39 29 And immediately after they came out of the synagogue, they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. 30 Now Simon's mother-in-law was lying sick with a fever; and immediately they spoke to Jesus about her. 31 And He came to her and raised her up, taking her by the hand, and the fever left her, and she began waiting on them. 32 Now when evening came, after the sun had set, they began bringing to Him all who were ill and those who were demon-possessed. 33 And the whole city had gathered at the door. 34 And He healed many who were ill with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He was not permitting the demons to speak, because they knew who He was. 35 And in the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus rose up, went out of the house, and went away to a desolate place, and was praying there. 36 And Simon and his companions searched for Him; 37 and they found Him, and said to Him, “Everyone is looking for You.” 38 And He said to them, “Let us go elsewhere, to the towns nearby, so that I may preach there also; for that is what I came out for.” 39 And He went, preaching in their synagogues throughout all Galilee and casting out the demons.

This is the Word of God Mark 1:21-28 21 And they went into Capernaum; and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and began to teach. 22 And they were astonished at His teaching; for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. 23 And immediately there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, 24 saying, “What do we have to do with You, Jesus the Nazarene? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!” 25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” 26 And throwing him into convulsions, the unclean spirit cried out with a loud voice and came out of him. 27 And they were all amazed, so that they were arguing among themselves, saying, “What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.” 28 And immediately the news about Him spread everywhere into all the surrounding district of Galilee.

2 Peter 1:16-19 For we did not make known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, following cleverly devised myths, but being eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such an utterance as this was made to Him by the Majestic Glory, “This is My beloved Son with whom I am well-pleased”— 18 and we ourselves heard this utterance made from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. 19 And we have as more sure the prophetic word, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.

9  Now it happened that in those days Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.10 And immediately coming up out of the water, He saw the heavens opening, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon Him; 11 and a voice came out of the heavens: “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased.”

1 Now I make known to you, brothers, the gospel which I proclaimed as good news to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast [†]the word which I proclaimed to you as good news, unless you believed for nothing.  3 For I delivered to you [†]as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 After that He appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep. 7 After that, He appeared to [†]James, then to all the apostles,8 and last of all, as [†]to one untimely born, He appeared to me also. 9 For I am the least of the apostles, [†]and not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.11 Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed. 12 Now if Christ is preached, that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain. 15 Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we bore witness [†]against God that He raised [†]Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised. 16 For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied. 20 But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.

7 And he was [†] preaching, saying, “After me One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to stoop down and untie the strap of His sandals. 8 I baptized you with water; but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” Preeminent - Adjective - Surpassing all others, distinguished from the rest.

Rev. 3:1  “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write:    This is what He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars, says:    ‘I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. 2 ‘Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of My God. 3 ‘So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you. 4 ‘But you have a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their garments, and they will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. 5 ‘He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments, and I will never erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. 6 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'

1 Corinthians 14:26-40 26 What is the outcome then, brothers? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has a translation. Let all things be done for edification. 27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, it should be by two or at the most three, and each in turn, and one must translate; 28 but if there is no translator, he must keep silent in the church, and let him speak to himself and to God. 29 And let two or three prophets speak, and let the others pass judgment. 30 But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, the first one must keep silent. 29 And let two or three prophets speak, and let the others pass judgment. 30 But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, the first one must keep silent. 31 For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all may be exhorted. 32 And the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets; 33 for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. 34  The women are to keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. 35 But if they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home, for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in church. 36 Was it from you that the word of God first went forth? Or has it arrived to you only? 37 If anyone thinks he is a prophet or spiritual, let him recognize that the things which I write to you are the Lord's commandment. 38 But if anyone remains ignorant about this, he is ignored by God. 39  Therefore, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in tongues. 40 But all things must be done properly and in an orderly manner.

1 Cor. 14:20-28   Brothers, do not be children in your thinking; rather in evil be infants, but in your thinking be mature. 21 In the Law it is written, “BY MEN OF STRANGE TONGUES AND BY THE LIPS OF STRANGERS I WILL SPEAK TO THIS PEOPLE, AND EVEN SO THEY WILL NOT LISTEN TO ME,” says the Lord. 22 So then tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophecy is for a sign not to unbelievers but to those who believe. 23 Therefore if the whole church assembles together and all speak in tongues, and uninformed men or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are out of your mind? 24 But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed man enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all; 25 the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring that SURELY GOD IS AMONG YOU. 26 What is the outcome then, brothers? For you will be speaking into the air. 10 There are, perhaps, a great many kinds of sounds in the world, and none is without meaning. 11 If then I do not know the meaning of the sound, I will be to the one who speaks a barbarian, and the one who speaks will be a barbarian to me. 12 So also you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, seek to abound for the edification of the church. 13  Therefore let one who speaks in a tongue pray that he may translate. 14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful. 15 What is the outcome then? I will pray with the spirit and I will pray with the mind also; I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the mind also. 16 Otherwise if you bless in the spirit only, how will the one who fills the place of the uninformed say the “Amen” at your giving of thanks, since he does not know what you are saying? 17 For you are giving thanks well enough, but the other person is not edified. 18 I thank God that I speak in tongues more than you all; 19 however, in the church I desire to speak five words with my mind so that I may instruct others also, rather than ten thousand words in a tongue.

Rev. 2:18  “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: This is what the Son of God, the One who has eyes like a flame of fire and His feet are like burnished bronze, says:19  ‘I know your deeds, and your love and faith and service and perseverance, and that your last deeds are greater than at first. 20 ‘But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and deceives My slaves so that they commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 ‘And I gave her time to repent, and she does not wish to repent of her sexual immorality. 22 ‘Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. 23 ‘And I will kill her children with pestilence, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds. 24 ‘But I say to you, the rest who are in Thyatira, who do not have this teaching, who have not known the deep things of Satan, as they call them—I place no other burden on you. 25 ‘Nevertheless what you have, hold fast until I come.26 ‘And he who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, TO HIM I WILL GIVE AUTHORITY OVER THE NATIONS; 27 AND HE SHALL RULE THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON, AS THE VESSELS OF THE POTTER ARE BROKEN TO PIECES, as I also have received authority from My Father; 28 and I will give him the morning star. 29 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'

1 Cor. 14:1-19 Pursue love, yet earnestly desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. 2 For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries. 3 But one who prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and encouragement.4 One who speaks in a tongue edifies himself; but one who prophesies edifies the church.

Acts 2: 1- 13 And when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all together in one place. Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Acts 2:3 And there appeared to them tongues like fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance. Acts 2:5  Now there were Jews living in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation under heaven. Acts 2:6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were bewildered because each one of them was hearing them speak in his own language. Acts 2:7 So they were astounded and marveling, saying, “Behold, are not all these who are speaking Galileans? Acts 2:8 “And how is it that we each hear them in our own language in which we were born? Acts 2:9 “Parthians and Medes and Elamites, and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Acts 2:10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the district of Libya around Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Acts 2:11 Cretans and Arabs—we hear them in our own tongues speaking of the mighty deeds of God.” Acts 2:12 And they all continued in astonishment and great perplexity, saying to one another, “What does this mean?” Acts 2:13 But others, mocking, were saying, “They are full of new wine.”

1Cor. 13:4  Love is patient, love is kind, is not jealous, does not brag, is not puffed up; 1Cor. 13:5 it does not act unbecomingly, does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered; 1Cor. 13:6 it does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 1Cor. 13:7 it bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1Cor. 13:8  Love never fails, but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. 1Cor. 13:9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 1Cor. 13:10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away. 1Cor. 13:11 When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child. When I became a man, I did away with childish things. 1Cor. 13:12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. 1Cor. 13:13 But now abide faith, hope, love—these three; but the greatest of these is love.

1Cor. 12:28 And God has 1aappointed in bthe church, first capostles, second dprophets, third eteachers, then 2fmiracles, then ggifts of healings, helps, hadministrations, various ikinds of tongues. 1Cor. 12:29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of 1miracles? 1Cor. 12:30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all 1atranslate? 1Cor. 12:31 But 1you aearnestly desire the greater gifts.   Yet, I will yet show you a more excellent way.   1Cor. 13:1  If I speak with the atongues of men and of bangels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a cclanging cymbal. 1Cor. 13:2 And if I have the gift of aprophecy, and know all bmysteries and all cknowledge; and if I have dall faith, so as to eremove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 1Cor. 13:3 And if I agive all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I bsurrender my body 1to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.

1Cor. 12:11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, adistributing to each one individually just as He wills. 1Cor. 12:12 ¶ For even aas the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, bso also is Christ. 1Cor. 12:13 For also 1aby one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether bJews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to cdrink of one Spirit. 1Cor. 12:14 ¶ For also athe body is not one member, but many. 1Cor. 12:15 If the foot says, “Because I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body,” it is not for this reason 1any the less a part of the body. 1Cor. 12:16 And if the ear says, “Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body,” it is not for this reason 1any the less a part of the body. 1Cor. 12:17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be? 1Cor. 12:18 But now God has aappointed the members, each one of them, in the body, bjust as He desired. 1Cor. 12:19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be? 1Cor. 12:20 But now athere are many members, but one body. 1Cor. 12:21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; or again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 1Cor. 12:22 On the contrary, how much more is it that the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary, 1Cor. 12:23 and those members of the body which we think as less honorable, 1on these we bestow more abundant honor, and our less presentable members become much more presentable, 1Cor. 12:24 whereas our more presentable members have no such need. But God has so composed the body, giving more abundant honor to that member which lacked, 1Cor. 12:25 so that there may be no 1division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. 1Cor. 12:26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is 1honored, all the members rejoice with it. 1Cor. 12:27 ¶ Now you are aChrist's body, and bindividually members of it.

Rev. 2:12  “And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: This is what the One who has the sharp two-edged sword says: 13  ‘I know where you dwell, where Satan's throne is; and you hold fast My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. 14 ‘But I have a few things against you, that you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam, who kept teaching Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality. 15 ‘So you also have some who in the same way hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16 ‘Therefore repent. But if not, I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of My mouth. 17 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, to him I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and a new name written on the stone which no one knows but he who receives it.'

Rev. 2:8  “And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write:  This is what THE FIRST AND THE LAST, who was dead, and has come to life, says: 9  ‘I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy by those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10 ‘Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will never be hurt by the second death.'

1Cor. 10:14  Therefore, my abeloved, flee from bidolatry. 1Cor. 10:15 I speak as to prudent people. You judge what I say. 1Cor. 10:16 Is not the acup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the 1bbread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ? 1Cor. 10:17 Since there is one 1bread, we awho are many are one body, for we all partake of the one 2bread. 1Cor. 10:18 Look at 1the nation aIsrael. Are not those who beat the sacrifices sharers in the altar? 1Cor. 10:19 What do I mean then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or athat an idol is anything? 1Cor. 10:20 No, but I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they aSACRIFICE TO DEMONS AND NOT TO GOD. And I do not want you to become sharers in demons. 1Cor. 10:21 aYou cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and bthe table of demons. 1Cor. 10:22 Or do we aPROVOKE THE 1LORD TO JEALOUSY? Are we bstronger than He?

Rev. 2:1 ¶ “To the angel of the church in aEphesus write: ¶  This is what the One who holds bthe seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks 1camong the seven golden lampstands, says: Rev. 2:2 ¶ ‘aI know your deeds and your toil and perseverance, and that you cannot bear with those who are evil, and you bput to the test those who call themselves capostles, and they are not, and you found them to be false; Rev. 2:3 and you have perseverance and have 1endured afor My name's sake, you also have not grown weary. Rev. 2:4 ‘But I have this against you, that you have aleft your first love. Rev. 2:5 ‘Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and arepent and bdo the 1deeds you did at first. But if not, I am coming to you and will remove your clampstand out of its place, unless you repent. Rev. 2:6 ‘Yet this you do have, that you hate the deeds of the aNicolaitans, which I also hate. 1 Corinthians 10:1-13 (Legacy Standard)   1Cor. 10:1 ¶ For aI do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our fathers were all bunder the cloud and all cpassed through the sea; 1Cor. 10:2 and all were abaptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 1Cor. 10:3 and all aate the same spiritual food; 1Cor. 10:4 and all adrank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them, and the rock was 1Christ. 1Cor. 10:5 Nevertheless, with most of them God was not well-pleased. For aTHEY WERE 1STRUCK DOWN IN THE WILDERNESS. 1Cor. 10:6 Now these things happened as aexamples for us, so that we would not crave evil things as bthey also craved. 1Cor. 10:7 ¶ Do not be aidolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, “bTHE PEOPLE SAT DOWN TO EAT AND DRINK, AND STOOD UP TO cPLAY.” 1Cor. 10:8 Nor let us act in sexual immorality, as asome of them 1did, and btwenty-three thousand fell in one day. 1Cor. 10:9 Nor let us put Christ to the test, as asome of them 1did, and were destroyed by the serpents. 1Cor. 10:10 Nor agrumble, as some of them 1did, and bwere destroyed by the cdestroyer. 1Cor. 10:11 Now these things happened to them as an aexample, and bthey were written for our instruction, upon whom cthe ends of the ages have arrived. 1Cor. 10:12 Therefore let him who athinks he stands take heed that he does not fall. 1Cor. 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man, but aGod is faithful, who will not allow you to be btempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

1 Cor. 9:15-27 1Cor. 9:15  But I have aused none of these things. And I am not writing these things so that it will be done so in my case, for it would be better for me to die than have anyone make bmy boast an empty one. 1Cor. 9:16 For if I proclaim the gospel, I have nothing to boast, for aI am under compulsion. For woe is me if I do not proclaim bthe gospel. 1Cor. 9:17 For if I do this voluntarily, I have a areward; but if against my will, I have a bstewardship entrusted to me. 1Cor. 9:18 What then is my areward? That, when I proclaim the gospel, I may offer the gospel bwithout charge, so as cnot to make full use of my authority in the gospel. 1Cor. 9:19  For though I am afree from all, I have made myself ba slave to all, so that I may cwin more. 1Cor. 9:20 aAnd to the Jews I became as a Jew, so that I might win Jews. To those who are under 1the Law, as under 2the Law though bnot being myself under 3the Law, so that I might win those who are under 4the Law. 1Cor. 9:21 To those who are awithout law, bas without law, though not being without the law of God but cunder the law of Christ, so that I might win those who are without law. 1Cor. 9:22 To the aweak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become ball things to all men, cso that I may by all means save some. 1Cor. 9:23 So I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it. 1Cor. 9:24  aDo you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives bthe prize? cRun in such a way that you may win. 1Cor. 9:25 Now everyone who acompetes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a corruptible bcrown, but we an incorruptible. 1Cor. 9:26 Therefore I arun in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not bbeating the air; 1Cor. 9:27 but I 1discipline amy body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.
