**Matthew 4:18-22** Following Jesus is a personal decision of saying "yes" to His invitation. He will never force us; it is not a command. Following Jesus means humbly submitting our entire self to Him. We leave the old things of life behind when we recognize Jesus as Messiah and our Savior. When Jesus said 'follow me' it included knowing him and what He expects. We do this by reading his Word and applying it to our own life. We spend time daily talking and listening to Him. Following Jesus involves following His example.

Luke 5:15-16 "But now even more the report about him went abroad, and great crowds gathered to hear him and to be healed of their infirmities. But he would withdraw to desolate places and pray." To live as Jesus among the broken. Through word and deed, telling people about Jesus and teaching them to follow Him. Do you have any idea how important your prayers are? · Your prayers are so important that God promises in Scripture that He will answer them. · Your prayers are so important that God says His house–His temple, His church building–shall be called a house of prayer. Matthew 21:13 · According to Daniel 10 and 11, your prayers are so important that they shake Heaven and earth. Your prayers move angels and displace demons. God keeps your prayers in Heaven. He stores them up, and they rise before Him as incense continually. The book of Revelation tells us so. Look at Revelation 5:8. "And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints." The twenty-four elders who are seated before God the Father are holding golden bowls full of your prayers and mine. We see this again in Revelation 8:3-4 "And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne, 4 and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel." Your prayers are so important that God actually keeps them, and they are offered up to Him over and over as a continual sacrifice. Have you ever thought your prayers weren't important? My friend, your prayers thunder in Heaven. Revelation 8:5 "Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth, and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake." · Your prayers are being stored in golden bowls in Heaven. · Your prayers transcend time and space. · Your prayers are ascending into the face of God as sweet incense. Your prayers matter.

**John 1:1-5 The Good of Family How does your heart tend to respond when you are required to submit to the authority of someone else? In what ways did you forget about the presence and plan of God this week, existing as if you were an autonomous and independent being? The Good of Absolute Truth How does your heart tend to respond when someone criticizes or aruges with your actions or views? In what ways did you compromise or minimize the truths of God's Word this week? The Good of Dependence How does your heart tend to respond when you can't accomplish something on your own, or when someone else proposes a more successful alternative to yours? Reflect on how your day-to-day existence is dependent on both God and other people. How can admitting weakness be a strength? THE KEY TRUTH: Jesus is the Greatest of All Time and He calls us to follow Him in doing good for others. (Matthew 22:34-40)

**Philippians 4:4-7** The first step in practicing peace is a little counter intuitive... Rejoice! Be glad, celebrate, take pleasure in the Lord! Not in the things of this world... though the Bible does say he gives us good things to richly enjoy, we need to remember that it is in the Lord that we need to celebrate! Be Glad! Anxiety: Experiencing worry, unease, or nervousness, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome. 1 - "Every Situation" When you talk to Jesus about the small things, it becomes more natural to talk to him about the big things. 2 - "By prayer and petition" Prayer: simple requests of the Lord Petition: An earnest or urgent request (to God) 3 - "With Thanksgiving" Peace beyond what we can understand! His peace will guard our hearts AND our minds.

You are a Daughter of the King. You are Loved by Him. Then, You are Able to Show Love to Your Children. You are working so hard. We see all the things and roles you have to fill, and we are standing with you, cheering in your corner. Because as our sister, what happens to you, happens to us. You are not alone and we honor you. Working Moms. You are juggling responsibilities in two spheres. And God is pleased with you. Your ambition and talent is beautiful. We honor the image your bare of our God. You are enough and we honor you. Stay-at-home Moms. You may feel isolated and worn out. So we want to remind you that the investment you are making is worthy and valuable. The way you sacrifice is not going unnoticed. We see you and honor you. Stepmoms. You are delicately weaving a new family unit. You are forging a new tribe. It's hard but meaningful work. And you matter. Your mothering is no less significant than the role of any other mom. And we honor you. Adoptive Moms. Our God makes orphans His sons and daughters. So you are a divine reflection of the one true living God. It's probably harder than any of the books or conferences suggested. But it's worth it. And we honor you. Moms of Special Needs kids. You're often separated from the group because of the special needs of your loved ones. We know it's isolating. No one can fully understand. But God does. He is with you now and in the moments you need him most. And so are we. We honor you. Bereaved Moms. You're loss is so fresh to us. We may not completely understand your pain. But we want you to know that we support and we love you. Long after the meals and notes stop, we are still praying for you. May God give you His peace that surpasses all understanding. We honor you. Moms of kids who are still finding their way. Your children make their own choices. Walk in freedom with us. Let shame be undone. May God bring healing and peace. We honor you. To those desiring to be moms. Even though your hearts desire has not been fulfilled, the Lord still sees you and is close to the brokenhearted. We pray for peace and joy as you rest in God's love. (ESV) This means that, contrary to man's perspective, the Lord is not late with his promise to return, as some measure lateness. But rather, his “delay” simply reveals his loving patience toward you, because he does not want any to perish but all to come to repentance.
