In Luke 17:11–19, Jesus heals ten lepers, but only one returns to thank Him. This powerful moment reveals that while all ten experienced a miracle, only one encountered deeper transformation. The message challenges us to not just receive from God, but to return to Him with gratitude, recognizing that true wholeness comes from relationship, not just results.

In John 11, Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead after he had been in the tomb for four days, proving His authority over death and revealing that God often works through seasons of waiting. Mary and Martha expected Jesus to heal their brother, but instead Jesus delayed so that a greater miracle could happen and the glory of God would be revealed. The story reminds us that even when circumstances look final, nothing is over until Jesus says it is.

Deep down we all want more than just going through the motions. What we are really longing for is Jesus. He invites us into an encounter that heals, restores, and makes all things new. As Jesus traveled through Jericho on His way to the cross, a blind beggar named Bartimaeus cried out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me." While the crowd tried to silence him, his faith stopped Jesus in His tracks. This powerful story reminds us that when we truly see who Jesus is, mercy leads to transformation and transformation leads to following Him.

In The Gate of Worship, we return to Matthew 16 and Jesus' bold declaration at Caesarea Philippi that the gates of hell will not prevail. Standing in a place known for spiritual darkness, Jesus calls His followers to answer the most important question: Who do you say that I am? Discover what true worship looks like as we learn to worship with awe, abandon, and intimacy, not just with songs but with surrendered lives.

The Gate of Inadequacy explores Matthew 16:13–18 and Jesus' declaration that the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church. Gates are defensive, not offensive—meaning hell is on defense and the Church is advancing. Yet many believers live held back by insecurity and feelings of not being enough. This message unpacks how inadequacy is not a disqualification but often God's starting point. When we surrender our insecurity at the foot of the cross, we discover that God uses surrendered, available people to advance His kingdom.

In Week 5 of the Gates of Hell series, we explore The Gate of Temptation and how spiritual battles begin long before visible sin. Standing at Caesarea Philippi in Matthew 16, Jesus declared war on the gates of hell and promised victory for His Church. But one of the most subtle gates believers walk through is temptation. From Genesis 3 to Jesus' victory in the wilderness in Matthew 4, we see how the enemy still whispers, "Did God really say?" This message teaches how temptation works, why shame and hiding follow sin, and how submitting to God and resisting the devil leads to freedom, power, and breakthrough.

When we know who Christ is and fix our minds on God's promises, we can walk in faith, overcome worry, and live with power, love, and a sound mind.

Did You Know Hell Has Gates? Week 3: What Label Do You Wear? In this powerful message from Matthew 16:13–18, Jesus asks the most important question anyone will ever face: "Who do you say that I am?" Before we can understand who we are, we must know who He is.
