Evan Koster is a 5th generation Coloradan and the lead guide for Flattops Wilderness Guides and Horn Fork Guides. Evan has been guiding since 2015 for Elk, Bear, Deer, Sheep, Goats and Mountain Lions. This week we have a CBA Member, CJ Sefcovic. CJ is a life long Coloradan with a strong familial hunting history but CJ is still breaking the mold by becoming the first avid bowhunter in his family. Since picking up a bow in 2018 CJ has had quite a lot of success taking a number of bull elk with his bow and continuing to take impressive animals with his rifle as well. CJ is a great story teller and spokesman for hunting. This week we have a CBA Legend, Conrad Dreher. Conrad, a 4th generation Coloradan, has been an active member of the CBA since 1979. In his 4+ decades with the CBA Conrad has held nearly every position in the organization, serving as area rep in the 1970s and Chairman in the 1990s Conrad has seen the growth and evolution of the CBA from a rare and valuable perspective. I went up to their property just north of Dotsero Colorado to tour their outfit and have a conversation. Carmen Robinson (@_reneestrong) and I (@roguewoodsman) met at the CBA banquet 2021, like me Carmen is a new member of the CBA and a relatively new bowhunter as well. Rick Davis has been a member of the CBA for nearly 40 years and has been bowhunting for nearly 60 years! Rick has served as a valuable role over many years representing the CBA on the western slope. Rick has served as an Area Rep, Award Banquet Chairman and presently stands as the CBA Regional Director for the West Region.
