Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Matt Moseley come together during Christmas time to discuss a pressing issue: The Top 10 Heroes of All Time. We put ourselves in a room for three hours, made a large pool to choose from, and didn't leave until we reached a consensus. Who were the winners? Who didn't make the cut? Well, obviously Thor didn't make it. Yes, we all watched Ragnarok and understand it's the best MCU film, but there's years of back continuity that is just weak for the character. At the conclusion of this episode there will be around 9+ hours of audio, between all the episodes, of Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Matt Moseley discussing the series Marville. All I have in common with the uncontrollable and the insane, the vicious and the evil, all the mayhem I have caused and my utter indifference toward it I have now surpassed. My pain is constant and sharp, and I do not hope for a better world for anyone." twitter - comstalkcomics reddit - comicstalkcomics email - comicstalkcomics@gmail.com Facebook Page - Comics Talk Comics Facebook Page

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Special Guest Matt Moseley (who keeps insisting that this isn't worth it BECAUSE HE'S PROBABLY RIGHT) embark on another adventure into the world created by ex-President of Marvel, Bill Jemas. It's difficult to put into words the thoughts we have about Marville #4, but after much heavy drinking...well, we still don't know. Also, it's worth noting that we lost the last few minutes of the podcast, but it can be summed up as such: This is a bad comic. Please don't read this. It's like A Serbian Film; I know you're thinking "Naw, man, it can't be that bad." Trust us, it really is. twitter - comstalkcomics reddit - comicstalkcomics email - comicstalkcomics@gmail.com Facebook Page - Comics Talk Comics Facebook Page

Comics Talk Comics wants to take a moment to make a very-special announcement: We're finished. Not as a podcast! We are still going to keep making these things! But we are finished with our pursuit of the worst comic ever. Let me come to you with my hat in hand here and tell you what the origin of this podcast was: It started with Daniel Brown in a comic book shop telling someone about the Clone Saga. Another guy said "Hey, maybe you should make a podcast about bad comic books?" The idea was to find the worst comic books, read them, and convey our feelings about them to the public. A lot of lists unfairly have NFL Super Pro on them; we at the podcast are hardcore advocates of it being one of the greatest, dumb things to ever exist. We have also been pleasantly surprised in the past by titles, such as Archie vs. Predator or Eminem and the Punisher. It's been a real pleasure going through comicdom and figuring out what we think (in our humble opinions) is worth your time. Also, we've tried to find the worst things and determine what happened. Well, we did it: We broke our system. You can listen to this podcast, but I'm going to spoil it in the description: Marville #3 is the worst comic book ever made. That's not just me, Daniel Brown, saying it. Joining me this week is Norm de Plume and Special Guest Matt Moseley. This is the Serbian Film of comic books. Sure, you hear us talking about it and think "It can't be that bad, right? Nope, it's that bad. I'm going to pull something from Issue 04 of the podcast and apply it here. "There are bad things. There are bad things in the world. Many bad things. There are some things that are worse than those bad things. But this is the worst thing." - Norm de Plume twitter - comstalkcomics reddit - comicstalkcomics email - comicstalkcomics@gmail.com Facebook Page - Comics Talk Comics Facebook Page

Comics Talk Comics is back and we are reviewing Marville #2. Most "Worst Comic Book of All Time" lists say this and NFL SuperPro are the bottom. We are here to tell you that those lists are LIES. NFL SuperPro is the truth; the 'cast loves it. Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Special Guest Matt Moseley are all in agreement that this might be the worst comic book ever made. 2/3rds of the podcast had property damage from the recent tornadoes in Pensacola (stay after the theme music for our sound check/storm discussion if you want more of us [for whatever reason]) and we're all in agreement that this comic book was the worst thing to happen during our week. Please send some encouraging messages to our following streams because this comic book has put Special Guest Matt Moseley on the edge. I believe we make the case during this podcast that it would be a shame to find out that issues of Marville were given to prisoners of Guantanamo Bay. twitter - comstalkcomics reddit - comicstalkcomics email - comicstalkcomics@gmail.com Facebook Page - Comics Talk Comics Facebook Page

This episode has been a long time coming. The gang of Comics Talk Comics decided to get together, get drunk, and watch The Star Wars Holiday Special. "Wasn't that a TV comedy show?" I don't know if I would use the word "comedy" to describe it, but it was something...special? Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Special Guest Matt Moseley delve into our longest episode yet as we discuss many things that exist in this special: Jam dragons, Bea Arthur, the lyrics to the Star Wars theme, Jefferson Starship, THEE wookie fuck helmet, and other things that fit the Star Wars universe. We will return to our normally-scheduled programming next week as we go back into Marville #2. Normally, we don't mention the next podcast in the notes, but it's so terrible that it's actually bleeding into this description. twitter - comstalkcomics reddit - comicstalkcomics email - comicstalkcomics@gmail.com Facebook Page - Comics Talk Comics Facebook Page

This particular episode is a continuation of our live show: It's Comic Talk Comic's live material. We wanted to make sure they were mastered properly because these jokes kind of encapsulate who we are as a team. Daniel Brown is a smart guy who likes dumb things, Norm de Plume is a smart guy who says smart things, and Matt Moseley is a smart guy who likes alcohol. Once again, we want to thank the thousands (you weren't there, so you can't fact check that) of fans that made it out to watch us perform. We also want to give another shout out to Back Porch Comedy in Pensacola for setting this up for us. We look forward to doing another one of these in the future. twitter - comstalkcomics reddit - comicstalkcomics email - comicstalkcomics@gmail.com Facebook Page - Comics Talk Comics Facebook Page

We finally did it: Through the help of Back Porch Comedy we performed the podcast live in front of an audience. But you weren't there so the only thing on your mind is "Is it still funny?"Well, we wanted to bring our A game and that means Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane because Clark Draper is the man. In this particular issue, Superman builds a machine that puts people into cryogenic freezing for 5,000 years; Lois Lane and Lana Lang decide to get back at Superman (for all the times he's a dick) by putting themselves into said machine for 5,000 years. And then hijinks occur, which includes a scene of Superman fighting a dinosaur. It's glorious. Finally, we would like to thank all the listeners that came out and watched the show. You guys were a terrific and we had a lot of fun talking about kissing booths in front of you all. twitter - comstalkcomics reddit - comicstalkcomics email - comicstalkcomics@gmail.com Facebook Page - Comics Talk Comics Facebook Page

We are on issue #45 and it's worth mentioning how close this podcast was to doing the series "Marville" before "NFL Super Pro." If it weren't for the fact that football season was going on during the creation of episode number one we could have easily started with this series first. Let's just call it a dodged bullet. Marville generally makes critic's top ten lists for "Worst comic book of all time." The podcast has had a lot of experience reading bad comics, but nothing prepared us for this journey. AOL jokes. Ted Turner. Dog farts. Alan Greenspan as a bank manager. Reading this comic book made us believe we were in some kind of shared fever dream. Join Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Matt Moseley as they take a journey into the strangest god-damned thing we've seen on the podcast. twitter - comstalkcomics reddit - comicstalkcomics email - comicstalkcomics@gmail.com Facebook - Comics Talk Comics Facebook Page

You people asked for it! Maybe you didn't? I don't know, but the podcast thinks these are amazing. More reviews and commentaries on the wonderful world of 1960's Superman through the eyes of Lois Lane. To call Superman a rogue does a disservice to the man; he is THEE rogue. This week, chain-smoking, scotch-drinking, ad-making Superman has to deal with the fact that Lois Lane gets kryptonite vision. Is this the end of Slois, which I just came up with and realize is their Bennifer name? We stay pretty much on topic, though there is some discussion of Ruben Studdard opening a sandwich shop with Pee Wee Herman called "Ruben and Reuban's Reubans." With the recent release of The Fantastic Four (2015) getting a Rotten Tomatoes score of 9% the podcast wanted to do a movie review of it......but then we realized that it was probably coming to Blue Ray in a month, so instead we decided to look back in time at the first attempt at the Fantastic Four franchise in movie form. Roger Coreman backed the project for a little over one million dollars or, in comparison, the amount every member of Seinfeld was paid (per episode) only two years later. It really shows.
