From his athletic background from running cross country in Medford, Oregon; to collegiate success at Washington State University and a foray into multi-sport. Drew suffered a knee injury that required a full knee reconstruction surgery in 2021, 18 months later he was back racing at an elite level, winning the 2022 Chattanooga Ironman title where he qualified for Kona 2024!
