A history of both LGBTQ artists in the dance genre and music which has been a crucial part of the gay dance scene in a mix for pride parties. These mixes are a little bit out of the style of music we play but electronic genres and remixing would be nothing without gay clubs playing the music through the decades. This features artists which are both LGBTQ and those who have been symbols of pride or so called "Gay Icons" in a club mix format. The Earyummy label is dedicated to putting out Queer artists so acknowledging this history is important and, holy fluck, just party. A podcast about new music which is approachable for people who are afraid of hipsters. If you want to know more about me, DK Pa$i, and the stories I tell, listen to this ore. I'm disabled, in a wheelchair and used to work in the mainstream media. I worked in it. I hate the MSM and talk about that. I have weird stories from dating rich girls. I also once did a porn tape with a DC area socialite, (her idea), whose Republican father is behind the push against Obamacare. It has become a bigger part of my existence. Her sister is a former drug dealer. She is married to a Washington DC cop. I can no longer safely go into DC after a DC cop threatened me and my service dog with violence in the bathroom of the Foggy Bottom Whole Foods. Of course, I am filing complaints with the eventual hope of revealing something her Republican daddy told me: the Republican Party and candidates do not record donations. You can follow that story in this podcast, unless I get killed by a corrupt DC cop, as well as my activism for trans people and getting transgenderism recognized as genetic. Drug dealing sister and arrest: http://www.wlox.com/story/15614496/hattiesburg-traffic-stop-nets-25-pounds-of-marijuana If you are outside the United States you can hear how the country is crumbling and listen to my attempt to seek amnesty in Canada. We do not talk enough about the place Music has in our lives as a best friend in getting us through the most difficult times or simply a lonely existence. It is the reason most people in world listen to music, dance to music and play music. This subject is considered to render someone as an idiot in the world of the cultural press. This is bothered me since I began writing about music at my university newspaper. I am going to, to the best my ability, talk about how music has gotten me through things. In fact, it has been the engine of my optimism machine. I have never found any hardship to be particularly challenging because I have always been able to find song which speaks to the experience. Without fail, I find that same song speaking to a multitude of people. I am not a cynic and I believe this power of peopl coming together around an artist or a song is really where change begins. We live in a very negative time. We need inspirational songs more than ever. These casts our song I love which keep me optimistic. I am waging war on negativity and pessimism. These songs in the next a few podcasts are my call to arms. Some are mainstream, others are obscure. I hope these episodes are helpful or at least keep you from having road rage on the 405
