It's mental health awareness month and The Girls are discussing all things mental health. With the help of African American Wellness Project, Nami.org, and RTOR.org, we were made aware of the growing mental illness statistics and suicide rates amongst Black and Brown children and adults. We also discussed the types of anxiety. Did you know that over 40 million adults in the U.S. have an anxiety disorder?With all the good social media brings, there is a hyperawareness of all the bad, reminding us of our flaws and differences.
