Kathleen is an English Professor at Schreiner University and so much more. She founded the Texas Heritage Music Foundation and is an author with three published books. She also produced a series for Texas Public Radio and won a Peabody Award for her work. She tells a story of inspiration on Episode 89 of the Kerrville Podcast.

Gunny Sergeant Ryan Pieraccini served 19 years in the US Military as a Combat Engineer, MP, Combat Instructor, Security Company Platoon, and Recruiter and spent his time after being honorably discharged helping and advocating for veterans. He passed away in November, 2020, when he was 47 due to a traumatic brain injury from his time on active duty. Don Tucker began roofing homes in the Texas Hill Country in 1989. Don was diagnosed with stage four cancer in 2015 and is now semi-retired. His daughter, Lisa Roth, runs Tri County Roofing & Remodeling.
