That was reinforced in our community engagements, as was the fact that trusted voices matter; people are most likely to trust the motivations of people they know rather than insurance companies.  We've been leaning into this problem with this mindset for over a decade and it's becoming more of a strategic focus and imperative for us because of the increase in really large fires that are affecting a lot of properties. One of the most important issues is where to start, in terms of mitigation. The 0-5 foot ignition zone is the single most important factor. Te next is scalability, we need to rally around and give common standards and similar messages, that will help homeowners receive clear, consistent guidance. If you keep doing that, eventually it builds up into a system of change and collective progress.'  ‘I cannot emphasise enough how important partnerships are to this problem. They extend reach.' ‘The easiest way to have a wild fire resilient home is to build one, building one that's not resilient and trying to retrofit it is less optimal and not as easy.' ‘The single most important thing is clearing flammable material (fences, overhanging trees and bushes) from a 0-5 foot zone from the house.' Mandy Szigethy discovered upholstery while completing her Theater Technology degree at Indiana University and decided to forsake the stage in favor of the workshop.  She has had the unique opportunity to work in both furniture manufacturing at Beachley Furniture and now custom upholstery as the owner of Rose City Upholstery in Portland.  She has received training in both modern materials and traditional methods through Upholstery Education and is now able to apply time tested techniques to all of her projects.  Her love of learning lead to her to co-ownership of Upholstery Education in 2025 where she hopes to foster the same enthusiasm in others.   Her passion for revitalizing and repurposing home furnishings has led to an in depth--if unintentional--study of older and newer furniture, and the potential of any antique store or curbside find.   Marta Powers is the owner of MartaPOW LLC, a custom workroom in Richmond, Virginia, offering upholstery and soft goods services nationally To The Trade.  Her past career as a project manager for architecture and design firms has informed her business processes and broadened her network of professionals across the hospitality and interior design sectors.  Marta's early training in tailoring, pattern drafting, clothing design, and fabrication skills led to her creation of a business serving designers, helping them to achieve their and their clients' vision.     A co-owner of Upholstery Education LLC, Marta and her partners bring educators from the UK and France to the U.S., offering courses in traditional upholstery methods, materials, and related interior furnishing trades.     Marta has served on the boards of the National Upholstery Association and the Virginia chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (as an Industry Partner).  She is also a member of IFDA Richmond, the SeatWeavers Guild, and the NUA's Education Committee. La Radio Rusa – UVB-76 (1980s–actualidad) Se analiza la misteriosa frecuencia de 4625 kHz, conocida como “The Buzzer” o UVB-76, activa desde hace más de 35 años en Rusia. Transmite un zumbido constante interrumpido por voces que recitan palabras sin sentido aparente. Aunque se cree que es una frecuencia militar, jamás ha sido reconocida oficialmente. El relato describe su inquietante ambiente y su posible relación con protocolos de guerra nuclear. Un misterio real, documentado y todavía vigente. 4. El Caso Clarita (1995) Transmitido en La Mano Pachona, el antecedente directo de La Mano Peluda, conducido por Víctor Manuel Barrios Mata, esta llamada estremeció a todo México. Una mujer llamada Clarita narró cómo su hijo de 15 años, tras usar una ouija, comenzó a mostrar poderes paranormales, levitaciones y cambios físicos inexplicables. La desesperación real en su voz marcó un antes y un después. Tras esa noche, se reportaron fenómenos en el estudio: mesas que se movían, luces que parpadeaban y empleados que renunciaron. Nunca se volvió a saber de Clarita ni de su hijo. Queremos creer… pero cuando lo vimos de primera mano, dudamos. Cada caso se apoya en registros reales, transmisiones, fechas y nombres verificables, pero sus consecuencias y fenómenos escapan a la verificación empírica. Por eso, el programa mantiene una tensión constante entre razón y fe. El Caso Josué es probablemente el más documentado y, a la vez, el más controvertido. La muerte de Juan Ramón Sáenz ocurrió realmente en las fechas y condiciones mencionadas, aunque no existe evidencia médica que vincule su fallecimiento con causas sobrenaturales. El Caso Clarita, por su parte, es un clásico de la radio mexicana, y aunque no se conserva grabación completa ni registro verificable de la mujer, miles de oyentes atestiguan haberlo escuchado.
