The Book of Joshua concludes with an appeal to serve God no matter what comes or who's in charge. On Jared's last Sunday with the Leominster church, he appeals to the church to serve the Lord in a likeminded manner.
In a climactic battle of the Book of Joshua, God wages war against Canaan in spectacular fashion. Join us this morning to learn of the lengths God will go to in order to make things right in the world.
"No one will ever know. . ." It's with words like these that we deceive ourselves into thinking we can bury secret disobedience. This morning as we continue our series in the book of Joshua, we see the reality of sin's consequences -- even the ones we think we can get away with.
It's tempting to believe that God is on our side on every issue, every battle. But as we examine the calm before the storm, the night before the siege of Jericho begins in Joshua 5, we see a surprisingly odd encounter with God's messenger with relevant implications for us today. Please join us!
