The greatest battles on the journey to destiny aren't always external—they're internal. In this message, The Error of the Golden Calf, we see how the Israelites carried Egypt within them, trying to worship the true God in an Egyptian way. Their impatience, faulty thinking, and lack of spiritual growth led them to take matters into their own hands. God calls us to trust His timing, think with a renewed mind, and grow in maturity so we don't repeat the same error. When we lose the consciousness of His presence, we drift into self-made idols. But when we wait, think rightly, and follow well, we stay aligned with His will.

Part 1 of “A Pleasing Fragrant Life” explores what it truly means to live a life that brings delight to God. From the Old Testament offerings to the perfect sacrifice of Jesus, we see that Christ became our burnt, peace, and sin offering. His life a sweet aroma that made us acceptable before God. Now, we're called to live in response to that sacrifice, offering our lives in devotion, purity, and thanksgiving. A fragrant life is one marked by gratitude and consecration and continually honours Jesus for all He's done.

God still delights in the fragrance of a surrendered life. In Part 2 of this message, we're reminded that worship, thanksgiving, generosity, intercession, and service all offered from a sincere heart rise to Him as a pleasing aroma. The fire on the altar must never go out; our lives are meant to continually give off the fragrance of devotion through Jesus Christ. Before prayers ascend like incense, thanksgiving and worship must go before. True power is found in a heart that burns with gratitude, purity, and genuine love for God.

Life as a believer is a continual battle, but we have already won in Christ. In this week's message, *How to Fight and Win*, we learn that victory isn't automatic—it must be enforced through strength, faith, and spiritual intelligence. Though everything has been provided in Christ, we must engage to secure it. We fight with divine wisdom, standing firm until victory is won.

The journey from Egypt to Canaan isn't without conflict; every believer must be ready for battle. Though we no longer see a pillar of cloud or fire, the Holy Spirit within us leads, strengthens, and equips us for victory. In this week's message we learn that fear is not just an emotion. It's a protocol for defeat, so God's command to “Fear not” is His strategy for winning. As members of God's army, we are called to fight the battles of our past, external pressures, spiritual opposition, and destiny itself. Yet we fight from victory, not for it because our Intercessor, Jesus, never fails.

God's presence is not distant—it lives within us through the Holy Spirit, our pillar of cloud and fire. Just as He guided Israel, He directs our steps, protects us, and gives strength for both the day and the night seasons of life. When we grow in the awareness of His presence, fear loses its hold, faith rises, and we are equipped to keep running until the race is finished.

In this week's service, the Lighthouse Family joyfully dedicates and officially launches Lighthouse uOttawa as a campus church. Pastor DEJI shares a powerful message on the purity of God's light—not only in the world and in our communities but in our very hearts. When we open our lives to the light of God, every form of darkness is driven away, making room for a new season of grace and purpose. Just as God spoke light into the world and dispelled the darkness at creation, His light will shine into every hidden place of our lives, breaking the power of anything that hinders our spiritual growth and destiny. As long as we walk in the eternal light of God, darkness will have no hold over us.

In part three of Egypt to Canaan: Fulfill Your Destiny, Pastor DEJI challenges us with the message No Turning Back. On the journey of destiny, it's easy to be tempted to look back when the wilderness feels difficult, but Egypt — the world's systems, our mindsets, and false security — can only keep us bound. God calls us to move forward, deny ourselves, and trust Him even when the road is hard. To fulfill His plan, we must leave the past behind, burn bridges with the world, and renew our minds. There is no turning back, only forward into God's promises.

In this week's message, Pastor DEJI reminds us that discovering God's plan isn't about striving or forcing His hand—it's about trusting Him. When we live righteously and sincerely seek to please God, He orders our steps and delights in every detail of our lives (Psalm 37:23–24). Just as He guided Abraham, Joseph, David, and even Adam, God is faithfully working behind the scenes to lead us into His good plan. His plan carries His presence, provision and eternal reward, and only in it will we find true fulfillment.

In Part 1 of Egypt to Canaan: Fulfill Your Destiny, Pastor DEJI reminds us that the moment we put our faith in Jesus, we are plugged into a covenant lineage with Abraham—a lineage filled with God's intentional plan and promise. Through the story of Israel's journey, we see that destiny is not random; it is the final destination of a life lived in the fullness of God's plan. No matter your circumstances, whether you feel irrelevant, discouraged, distracted, or successful, God has not forgotten you. He has a plan for your life, and agreeing with His plan will transform the way you live.
