I met him through my membership in the UAW, he was only working around me, in my local for about 20 years. I thought I knew a lot about him. When Covid started he was retired and living in Colorado.  I interviewed him to talk about his young life and how he volunteered for service in Viet Nam! What I got, what I learned, was an amazing story of America in the 1960's and beyond. Complete with stories of his racist families ties to the Klan. Meet The Candidates for the open seat in the US Congress representing NE Indiana's Third Congressional District #IN03. We hear from Phil Goss and Kiley Adolf. The Fort Wayne Media Collaborative & The Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics working with the Purdue Fort Wayne campus Department of Political Sciences sponsored and coordinated this event.
