Fort Wayne's Troy Shondell was one of Indiana's first rock and roll stars. He's best remembered for his 1961 single “This Time”. That song went to number 6 on the Billboard chart and sold over 3 million copies. Shondell never managed to recapture the success of “This Time” and is often labeled a one-hit wonder. But there's much more to Shondell's story. He toured with Chuck Berry, recorded with Phil Spector, and produced legendary funk sessions with the Patterson Twins, and Trust at Fort Wayne's Star Fox studio. Join us to hear rare recordings from Troy Shondell.

Most cities have main streets Like other cities Fort Wayne, has a main street. But unlike other cities, their main street is haunted. Main Street is said to be haunted by the ghost of a woman in white. She has a flowing white gown and appears to just walk down the street. That alone is enough to cause concern; however, the woman in white on Main Street continues walking until she reaches the St. Mary's Bridge. Once there she horrifies witnesses who watch her climb over the bridge to jump into the water beneath the bridge. People have been so convinced the woman is real that they contact the police but nobody is ever found. The Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne dates back to 1928 and is considered a landmark in the city. When open, the building has been home to plays and other entertainment productions. People have seen a grey apparition roaming the halls on numerous occasions. Some people believe a long-deceased director is an apparition. Along with that apparition some people see and hear what they can only assume is an older woman. Others have seen actors on stage and backstage. Other strange things in the theatre include odd smells, random cold spots, and lights spontaneously turning off and on. John H. Bass was an incredibly wealthy man when he was alive. He had a mansion built for himself that even included an artificial lake not far from the house. The mansion stood abandoned for a number of years before a local university decided to renovate the building and use it as a library. There are stories that John H. Bass remains a resident of his mansion. These stories claim if you are in the library John H. Bass will help you find the book you desire. Lindenwood Cemetery. Lindenwood Cemetery was originally founded back in 1859. In the more than 175 acres the cemetery covers there is said to be somewhere in the neighborhood of seventy thousand gravesites. The overall style of the cemetery is Victorian in nature.

All the way from Fort Wayne Indiana, this week's guest is author, journalist and podcaster Rosemary Mac Cabe. We cover a LOT, but one of the most fascinating topics was the difference between maternity leave here in Ireland versus the states – when I say the US system is crazy, I'm not joking. We also talk about how motherhood has come naturally to Rosemary, and yet at times she still finds it challenging, monotonous and not always fulfilling. We chat about how her relationship with her stepsons has changed since her son Atlas came along, and how Miss Rachel is the third parent in both of our households. Hosted on Acast. From Burma to the USA- Culture, Family, Religion, Real Estate with Pau Thang- TT&DPC EP 78 Pau Thupha Thang is a real estate broker in Fort Wayne Indiana who has his license with EXP Realty. Pau is also part of the local Cheviron Coaching team. Pau talked about how he came over to America in the 5th grade, speaking almost no English. Back when Pau was in Burma, he had no septic systems. The electricity was unreliable and they got their water from a well. Pau talked about the diversity of Burma and how it is made up of many different cultures that are in constant conflict with one another. Christian missionaries who came to East Burma converted a lot of Chin Burmese into Christians. Pau's father became a pastor and by God's grace, his family was granted the green card lottery and given permission to come to the USA. Pau talked about the values from Eastern culture and their focus on family and community. Pau shared his initial desire to follow his father's footsteps and get into ministry. As Pau grew older though, he began to struggle with Christianity and decided to pursue a different lifestyle for himself. Pau gets vulnerable toward the end of the podcast and shares his thoughts on sexuality and how he eventually got enough information and insight through spiritual and political podcasts to choose to behave in a way that is more congruent with traditional Christianity. Pau and Dakota eventually talk about their interest and belief in some of the principles and beliefs of Calvanism. Check this podcast out! The Ultimate Course on Flipping (and Wholesaling) Houses

MICHAEL MOLTHAN - M2 THE ROCK | CHARISMATIC SPEAKER | WE ARE ALL ADDICTSAs a result of being forgiving, grateful, and finally accepting his role in the trauma that he received, Michael Molthan can help others by sharing the supernatural experience he received and is still receiving as a result of true forgiveness.DALLAS, TX – Michael Molthan doesn't shy away from talking about his painful past of drug and alcohol addiction. On his talk show called, M2-The Rock, he shares how he went from building homes to being homeless."When I had the homebuilding company my behaviors were getting worse and worse," Molthan told CBN News. "My consequences were getting worse and worse."Molthan was arrested on a drug charge in 2009. "I had a large amount of cocaine in my truck," he explained. "I was intoxicated, and I was arrested. And I'll never forget that when they took me down to the jail, I had my very first mug shot."Hitting Rock Bottom26 mug shots later, Molthan hit rock bottom. "When I look back, that's how the word powerless – I'm powerless over this deadly disease," he said. Feeling agitated, anxious, and facing three years behind bars, Molthan underwent a spiritual encounter after an inmate asked him to read to him. "I grab this book from a gang-banger, a black panther, and he used it as a pillow," he explained. "Brand new book and it was the Living Recovery Bible, New Living Translation. Now, these are black words on white paper at the time. They're not meaning anything to me. Next thing I know, four days have passed by and I started thinking about this and I go, four days just went by and I wasn't anxious. I wasn't in fear. I was calm, and I was at peace."Life-Changing MomentLater that night, he experienced another life-changing moment. "I couldn't breathe," he recounted. "All of a sudden I felt all this trash and hatred and anger and resentment and everything just coming out of my body like flies. All this stuff was just coming out. And I just took this breath and I just go something magical happened and I was full of love, and looking around I loved everybody." "I started preaching and I didn't realize what I was doing," he said. "And I did it at the end of every dinner."Paperwork Error Leads to Early ReleaseIn 2017, a paperwork error led to Molthan's accidental release. So, with no money or food, he walked 300 miles to ask judge Jennifer Bennett to send him back to jail. "I walk in there to turn myself in and I'm excited," says Molthan. "I'm like, 'I'm going to go back to prison. I'm going to do my time, get this over with and get this behind me.' I mean, complete acceptance. God is running the show, right?"He continued, "I walk in there and Judge Bennett says, 'Mr. Molthan there's obviously someone a lot bigger working in your life than me and I'm not going to get in the way.' And she set me free. And she said, 'I want you to come back tomorrow with the self-correct program. I want you to go pay it forward."'And Molthan is doing just that by sharing his story of freedom and sobriety with those seeking help for addiction.Helping Others Trapped by AddictionMichael Molthan's passion is to help people by “raising the bottom” so that no one has to experience the pain that he endured.Molthan's speaking style is so relatable and he loves sharing his love for God and Jesus Christ.M2 is quoted by saying:“When It Comes To Religion I Am An Atheist BUT When It Comes To The Gospel, The Truth, and The Word of God I Am All In”!To inquire about Michael Molthan's rates and availability, email M2@M2THEROCK.COMwww.M2THEROCK.COMTo learn more visit www.M2TheRock.com.
