In this brief travel-day episode of The Wright Report, Bryan shares major political fallout from Indiana's state Senate races, where Republican primary voters sent a loud message to GOP leaders: fight back in the redistricting wars or get replaced. He explains how five of President Trump's seven endorsed candidates won, replacing Republican officials who refused to aggressively redraw congressional maps and allowed Democrats to hold House seats in otherwise deep-red territory. Bryan says the results signal that GOP voters across the country want stronger action at both the state and federal level as the battle over House control intensifies heading into the midterms. He also previews Secretary of State Marco Rubio's upcoming trip to Italy to meet with Pope Leo as tensions continue over immigration and the war with Iran, and delivers a surprising update from the Middle East: the White House says the offensive phase of the Iran conflict is over, while President Trump has suddenly paused Project Freedom and eased pressure in the Strait of Hormuz to give peace negotiations more room. Bryan signals strong disagreement with that move, arguing Iran only responds to strength and warning against allowing Tehran to control one of the world's most critical waterways. Plus, Bryan highlights encouraging economic news for the White House, with factory orders and hiring both rising more than expected despite ongoing pressure from fuel prices, and shares an update on his America 250th anniversary Oregon film project, now heading into editing with teaser videos coming soon. The act authorizing the construction of the building to replace the previous capitol passed the Indiana legislature on March 4, 1877.The first capitol building, called the Red House, met in Vincennes until the capital moved to Corydon. The legislature used the Corydon building until it moved to Indianapolis in 1825. Legislature used the Marion County Courthouse as the third capital until workers completed construction of the fourth capitol building in 1835. The legislature met in this building until it became unsafe in 1877 and the legislature moved to a state office building constructed in 1865. This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! Gregg Larson never set out to own haunted properties. With a background in science and engineering, Gregg was searching for land to host large-scale medieval events when his real estate agent led him to the abandoned Indiana State Sanatorium. Spanning 200 acres with over 120,000 square feet of buildings, the sanatorium had a dark history of tragedy and loss—and a reputation as one of Indiana's most haunted locations. A self-described skeptic, Gregg bought the property without giving the paranormal a second thought. But over time, his experiences and the stories tied to the grounds changed his perspective. Today, Gregg not only owns the Indiana State Sanatorium, but also the Historic Stark Saloon and Billie Creek Village—two other Indiana sites known for their paranormal activity. Gregg shares how he went from skeptic to steward of some of Indiana's most haunted historic properties. This is Part Two of our conversation.
