    The 2020/2021 Summer Olympics have come to an end, but we share our thoughts on some of the highlights from these games. There were a ton of “firsts” and some amazing wins by incredible female athletes. We also share our thoughts on mental health awareness in high level sports as well as the ridiculous uniform requirements some sports have. We discuss our favorite parts of these Olympics and some of the interesting facts we've learned while listening to the commentators. Of course, with so much going on, we did not have time to cover everything, but we want to wish a massive congratulations to all of the Olympic athletes that put their blood, sweat, and tears into these events.     Like many of you, we grew up in the era of Britney Spears and the overly sexualized pop-stars and overbearing media. With the release of New York Times' recent documentary, Framing Britney Spears, about the events that went down from the beginning of Britney's rise to fame, through her eventual break down and conservatorship, we recount our memories at the time and how they have changed since then. We also discuss other interviews from this era that have since resurfaced regarding women in Hollywood and the intrusive and inappropriate questions they were asked, along with the repulsive way our society/the media victim blamed, victim shamed or blatantly allowed the sexual harassments of women on screen. Is society overly sexualized? Are there other areas in which youths are being exposed to overtly suggestive imagery? How early is too early to start talking to children about the reproduction process, gender identity, puberty, and many other topics surrounding their own bodies and how they choose to express themselves.     This isn't our typical podcast episode, but we couldn't sit by and not comment on some of the disgusting and horrible feedback Vanderbilt's recent substitute kicker has received. If you aren't familiar with who Sarah Fuller is, she recently filled in as kicker for the Vanderbilt football team. The Division 1 Soccer Player tried out and made the team when their kicking squad came down with Covid. She stepped up for her school, so small people on the internet felt the need to push her down. We ask why people think it is okay to say horrible, vulgar things online, especially when it comes to anyone who pushes gender boundaries and stereotypes. While Sarah's time on the team may have come to a close, we felt it was an important moment to discuss and determine how we can change the way people interact online.
