Welcome to National Parks for Kids, the podcast for kids and families wanting a little more information about the national parks they are curious about or visiting. I’m Jaimie, and my son Brant had the idea to make this podcast together to share awesome information and some of our favorite experiences in the parks.

    Lassen Volcanic National Park. This was our last California National Park trip, and it was so fun. We met some family at the park and enjoyed the warm weather,  cool lakes, interesting geothermal areas, and rich volcanic history.  Lassen is very diverse is the only park with the four different kinds of volcanoes in one park.

    Great Smoky Mountains

    The Great Smoky Mountains is the park that gets the most visitors every year. Located in Tennessee and North Carolina, surrounded by mountains, rivers, trees and valleys.     Mesa Verde National Park

    Gateway Arch National Park

    Gateway Arch also known as the gateway to the west rests in Missouri on the Mississippi River.  It is a stunning masterpiece of engineering, built in the 1960s and has one of the most beautiful and thoughtful visitor centers of any national park we have visited.  Come learn why this park is great to learn some history and a wonderful jumping off point for lots of kids activities in St. Louis, Missouri.
