Don't be alarmed, but we're taking a few weeks off... No, Nate wont be starting another new podcast (not yet anyway). We get a quick update on Nate's banking situation, we're excited to see how Run It goes down when it hits NZ shores next week, and we also don't recommend taking any financial or health advice from us. Firstly, shout out to everyone who shared a message or a comment with well wishes for Nickson and Sarah. We appreciate you guys heavy! It wasn't an easy announcement coming from Nicks. We talk a bit about it on the poddy today, and how does one get kicked out from having a bank account?! We try and figure it out plus a few random chats in tonight's episode.

That was unexpected. Nate joined Nickson on the Mai Morning Crew on Monday to everyone's surprise, and the listeners loved it. We show some love to the Naked Samoan's after they were dragged for the promotional poster, we show our love once again to the Niue community and give our love to Yvonne Tahana for her slip up of the Niuean greeting on the news over the weekend, and which religion has the most attractive members?

Today’s episode is where we sit and catch up with each other about the week. Nickson finally see’s Tinā the film and explains how he felt, which led us into some of the bad advice our grandparents gave us. Nate stepped out to the Mai FM Hot 1000 Party and some of the things he saw made him feel old. We touch on the new laws that target online gambling and what this means for influencers and Nate drops what might be a bombshell for most, about former Warriors hitman, Ben Matulino.

It’s like Candyman, if you say his name three times, he appears. We finally get Sam V on the show. Nate exposes some of Sam V’s wildest DM’s in real time, Sam explains who he credits for starting his music career at 4 years old, we ask why NZ’s R&B scene is so small, and some of the outrageous things that happen at a Sam V show. One of our wildest episodes to date! We had our brother Tammy Davis, sit in with us for an explosive chat on TV, Film and Radio. Tammy gives us some insight on how the industry works behind the scenes, his experience on being a part of one of Aotearoa's iconic TV shows, "Outrageous Fortune", his struggle with schooling in South Auckland and how he navigates through life these days.

This is one of those sit down's that we love having. Actor Beulah Koale joins us to talk about his journey from South Side to the Silver Screen. We go through his impressive resume in film, we talk about his first acting gig in a music video and almost getting checked for it, and we get a sense of Beulah's experience in the new film,Tinā. Tinā is in cinemas everywhere from February 27th.

On today's episode, an interesting turn of events that may see the boys end up in Samoa later this year. A quick recap on the new Betsndat Podcast which kicked off a few weeks ago, with our ol' mate The Oracle, we chat about the new film Tinā and why Nickson wasn't invited to the premiere, which we'll bring up with our next guest, Beulah Koale, this Thursday.

On this episode we go through a quick life update between us. We shouted out DJ Sirvere after his accident but we still wondered how he made his status update on Facebook. Some questionable things are going on in Hamilton and Nate reckons this one thing is NOT a necessity, we go a bit deep about how us Islander’s go through therapy and we debrief after the Ucegang interview.

We tried our best to keep it together on this one. Social Media star and content creator Simeon “Ucegang” Fiapule is with us. We go from 0 to 100 as soon as the mics went on. Hear about Ucegang’s come up, the obstacles with his fitness challenge, how he linked up with The Rock and how he plans to level up in 2025.

We sit down for our first one-on-one for 2025. It was a good catch up between us where we talked about our aspirations for 2025. Nate wants to bring back this facial gesture and make it cool again, Nicks is starting his road to the Auckland mayoralty, and we talk about how wild you guys are, especially when you see us out in public.

We had a blast chatting with Lisa Perese-Cullen in this episode. Wife, mother and entrepreneur, turned Content Creator (and TikTok creator of the year in 2024) joins us to talk about her comedic upbringing, her journey in business and how she cracked the social media game. We also found out that her uncle was a part of launching a radio station that we hold dear to us, and Lisa explains why she'll never jump on a reality TV show.

We're back for a brand new season and we're honoured to have Vaovasamanaia Seilala Mapasua as our first guest for the year. It was important to us to have Seilala on the show to share his story about coaching Manu Samoa and some of the hurdles he faced along the way. We talk about his journey in Rugby, his aspirations for the game in Samoa and other Pacific nations, and what lies ahead in this new season.

That's a wrap for 2024. What a year it's been. We finish up the season with a few appreciations, we drop a few stats on how you guys have rocked with us this year, our ol' mate Zeke joins the show for old times sake, and we finally answer some of the burning questions you guys had for us over the year. We're back for a new and slightly different Nickson and Nate podcast. We've set up in a new studio and the guys all catch up on the last month of being away. Nickson's back from Thailand with a few horror stories, Zeke returned from a mystery trip to Sydney and he's now on crutches, and Nate revisits a few business ideas he talked about a few months ago. We address the Niueans that we upset in episode 44 and what's a Nickson and Nate poddy without a hot take from Nickson.

Today's a good day to break down some of the weekend's sports. Zeke is in and we chat the NRL and UFC. It's getting exciting as we inch closer to finals footy and we chat about why that UFC ref got fired.

We play matchmaker for T-Money and Nate has a few strategies for him to try, in hopes of getting him an Island girl. We talk about his radio journey and T-Money expresses his true first impressions of Nickson.

Nate is relentless on convincing us to let him pick the "Road to $100k" picks this weekend. We find some middle ground, so Nate and Zeke will share the risk. Nickson's off on holiday soon and Nate has an interesting suggestion that Nickson won't approve of, and did anyone see Zeke at the Protests at Parliament a few years ago?

Have you heard about our new idea, the "Road to Turkey?”. This could be a thing. Plus we love having our guy, The Oracle with us too. As each week goes by, he gets better and louder. Stay tapped in with us, we could be heading to Turkey in October.

Also in true Nate fashion, he starts brainstorming on the show, we're scratching our head on our "Road to $100k" and we have a few amendments we need to make, plus we think we might need to make a trip over to Turkey to take care of Nickson's hairline, and the topic of us doing reaction videos comes up again.
