The good news of Jesus' leadership.
The actions we take must reflect our positions in Christ Jesus.
We have light because we reflect Jesus' light.
God has chosen people who are set apart from the rest who he sends out to be heralds of the gospel of Jesus Christ!
There’s never a thing as too much prayer. Just keep Praying.

In this encouraging sermon, Chris Rozendaal reveals the kind of faith that amazed Jesus Christ when he lived here on earth.
Paul introduces us to Timothy and Epaphroditus in Philippians 2. Timothy can be described as Paul’s life long project and Epaphroditus as a man who man Paul’s burdens his own. These two men - Paul’s best men, are sent to the Church in Philippi. Just as Paul sent his best men out, we are taught how God sent Jesus Christ- His best to us.
We have all asked the question "Why Do Good Things Happen to Bad People?" In this sermon, we examine the last chapter in the book of Jonah. Jonah is angry that God has shown mercy to undeserving people. Jonah can't reconcile the Mercy of God and the Justice of God. This sermon gives us insight to why God often times causes good things to happen to bad people.
God has a track record of giving second chances. From Abraham to the Children of Israel when Moses led them to the promised land to even Jonah. In this sermon, we learn how God's Mercy plays a role in the second chances He offers us human beings.
God is a Merciful God who desires to forgive rather than punish. Jonah should have realized that he deserved to die but received mercy. The Ninevites he hates deserve to die too, but God wants to show them mercy. It should have revived his appreciation for mercy. God was so intent on getting the message of salvation to the Gentiles, that he was willing to give a disobedient rebellious prophet a second chance.
No matter what we want God cannot be manipulated. In this sermon, we learn that God is not just some limited god, He is the God of Heaven and the Earth. He is the God who is always there and he doesn’t easily give up on his plans, purpose and people.
The story of Jonah is about God. The only reason why we are saved is because of the Word of God. We are in Christ because God initiates our reconciliation and He has the right to guide and instruct us. Like Jonah can’t reconcile the mercy and justice of God and he wants them to experience wrath. fire & brimstone, so many times we don’t want the bad people to get God’s mercy.
We are called to be faithful to God. A response of God’s faithfulness is our faithfulness. We must follow God and like Paul remember we don’t deserve everything God has given us. In this sermon, we learn God wants control of our lives, we are better off serving Jesus and being faithful to Him.
The book of Hebrews is about the supremacy of Christ who gives us access to God. Jesus though innocent, took our sinful place so that we are reconciled with God. Making us the Church, the body of Christ and nothing replaces the body of Christ. In this sermon, we learn why we should be committed to the Church. We were made for each other, therefore not gathering with the body of Christ is like not eating, our bodies are designed to eat.
There are times when there are better options but sometimes some things have to run their courses. If you’re trying to decide to follow Jesus there are no better options. It is hard to choose between good decisions/options however these must be secondary to the decision to follow Jesus. Comfort, familiarity, family, jobs can’t save us; these may aid development in us however they are nothing in comparison to Salvation through Christ.
You can only trust God with your money when you have first trusted God with your life. You can be the richest man in the world but if you don’t believe in God you’re spiritually bankrupt. We must understand that God is not detached from our giving. He never lets us down when we are sacrificial givers, His Name is on the line. In this sermon, we learn how Jesus shows sacrificial generosity through the widow at the temple who gave her all. We give because we understand the sacrificial giving of our Savior.
